[up][up]But was it really sex? It was left pretty ambiguous.

EDIT: Well that was certainly an interesting page topper!

Fantastic page topper out of context.

But yeah, I'm 90% sure bonking happens. When a fairy upgrades your clothing, she blows you a kiss, then she boops you a kiss with her finger, then she actually does kiss you as the camera fades to black, which means for the fullest upgrade, when she yanks you up and drags you down into the fountain for a little private time...

Part of it might be that Nintendo's standards have been growing increasingly less strict. Part of it may be that Nintendo just wasn't comfortable even implying sex prior to BotW (though given that the Twilight Princess Great Fairy was walking around with Godiva Hair, they've been slowly but surely working their way towards it).

And yeah, if you think it's blatant before, just wait until you max out a piece of armor. I laughed for a good minute when I first saw it. Hell, I still giggle.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.

I was in fucking tears. Link's anguished and terrified cry was just the icing on the cake for me.

I found it more unsettling than funny (especially because Link is clearly not enjoying himself as much as the fairies are), but there was definitely a sense of "what the hell just happened" upon seeing it the first time.

I mean, I was expecting escalation once I got to the full upgrades, but that was...something.

M old GTA game is tamer than this. I didn't know about the prostitution trick until a few years after I beat Liberty City Stories. But it's kind of disappointing, since it's cheaper to drive to the hospital or my safe house and you don't get to see anything.

Plus, it attracted one of my favorite lines from Futurama.

Alright. I was able to upgrade both my Climber Suit and the Flamebreaker Armour.

Working on my Soldier Armour and the Snowquill Armour now.

...I forgot to take pictures of Hearty Bass, so I don't know where to find any. Gonna have to check that.

Hearty Bass?

Lake Akkala has Hearty Bass. Check near the waterfalls.

I was in the exact same situation during my first playthrough. Needed Hearty Bass, didn't have it in my compendium.

[up][up][up] I'd say Waterblight, personally, especially in the Champion's Ballad rematch in Master Mode. Thunderblight can be intimidating the first time around, but, once you get used to parrying, it's not that hard.

Thunderblight is probably the hardest in general, but Waterblight becomes a real pain in the ass in Master Mode Ballad of Champions, as mentioned. I had to simply give up once because all my weapons broke.

Thunderblight is the hardest in the base game. Waterblight in the special rematch. There's just no room to maneuver, and by the time you slowly catch up to it the sneaky thing has already teleported elsewhere.

Alright. I got the last Warm Safina for the Snowquill Suit and got it to level 3.

All my current armours are at level three except for the Champion's Tunic (haven't tried farming Dragons yet), the Zora Armour (collecting those hearty bass will take some time) and the Ancient Armour (Ancient Cores....<Shudders>).

That being said, with both the Flamebreaker and Snowquill Suit at level three, I'm more or less immune to not only heat and cold, but also Fire and Ice attacks aren't I?

Only if you wear the entire Snowquill set and the Flamebreaker won't save you from the desert heat. But the Snowquill kind of sucks because you can't run where you need it without giving something up.

I'd say the Unfreezable set bonus is most useful for fighting Frost Taluses, because you can climb them without having to thaw them out first, making your tactics the same as for regular Taluses.

Well, and Ice Lizalfos, but you can just vaporize them with a Fire Arrow instead. It's fun to watch Link No-Sell their ice breath, though.

Likewise with Flamebreaker armor and the fire Lizalfoses in the Eldin region.

"Imma gonna flame ya!"

"Go ahead. *yawn*"

(Also useful in the fire-based shrines, like the one in the Eldin area that comes with the Champion's Ballad DLC.)

I seem to recall the Hearty Bass also congregating near the waterfalls in Zora's Domain (and some in the river leading to it, though you'll want to clear out the Lizalfos first).

Hearty bass are sort of everywhere. If you ever see, like, a MASSIVE school of Hyrule Bass, you know for sure that their leader is a Hearty Bass.

So I guess I just gotta be thorough then?

I’m currently under Zora’s Domain right now checking all over for Hearty Bass. Hopefully I’ll get some.
