Starfox Adentures: The movie
New theme music also a boxHm... for years, I've thought that I would like a Metroid origins movie, since Samus has a pretty interesting one. She was orphaned by genocide at least twice (her birth family got killed by Space Pirates, the Chozo got killed by Phazon, and I feel like there was something else in the middle), and so on. However, that would require at least a decent chunk of the movie to have her without her suit, which I agree isn't the best.
Maybe a Mad Max-type thing, where she just sort of wanders in, is surrounded by an eclectic cast of characters, and then wanders out. Minimal flashbacks, most of her backstory can be told by legends and rumors the other characters whisper about her.
Oh, that could definitely work. You could practically just remake Top Gun shot for shot.
As much as I loved adventures, I think that spin-off needs a few more games to breathe before they sink money into a movie. Right now it's barely more than "that one time Star Fox tried to be Zelda, did a surprisingly good job of it, and then tried to forget it all."
We are veering off-topic.
Where there's life, there's hope."Carry On" (A song made for Detective Pikachu) will premiere tomorrow!
Apparently the song will play during the end credits.

Who was it that mentioned the idea of a Colosseum adaptation? Because that could definitely work.
The "Carry On" music video for the movie has finally dropped featuring some new scenes but might contain some spoilers.

I was kind of suspecting that one part in that trailer was going to go that direction, but god damn, I was still not prepared for the Gyarados!

After reading that, I'm honestly very impressed they got the nightmare fuel mime in.
The Nightmare Fuel adds to the the inherent creepiness of Mimes.
RE: movie having 2 music videos:
Oh man, between that and the positive social buzz this movie has been getting, I'm REALLY hoping it turns out great and it isn't all for nothing...

The music video didn't have that many spoilers. Just another clip of the Charizard fight and then that Gyarados bit. But that's about it.
Again its good to see this studio putting some effort into this.
The movie just had a special screening at Beijing. Plus the first batch of short movie reviews of the movie has shown up on Douban (the Chinese Rotten Tomatoes) after today's advance movie premiere in Beijing.

According to one of the translated reviews (Has a spoiler near the end). They described it as "This movie is fun, cute and the ending is surprising. Team Rocket is in the movie btw."
More early reactions of the Beijing Premiere with Chinese text. (It may have a few spoilers.)

I like that spoiler. That's a good spoiler.
Looks like Rita Ora will be playing Dr. Ann Laurent in the movie.
Okay, so the movie's been shown off at Beijing (fingers crossed it turned out great) when this happened...
EDIT: For a weary world...

What's this? A trailer using "What a Wonderful World" without being bitterly ironic?!
In all seriousness, that new vid just made my day.
I think a Star Fox movie would also be good.
