Huh, I looked at the Dune 2 BOM page to see its final numbers (last time I checked it was around 708M)… and it's now at 859? It's probably a bug, since the domestic and international numbers shown are the exact same, but that surprised me for a second.

Not to mention, there's been a lot of box office bombs over the years and yet, theaters are still opened. We also had some movies that made over $1 Billion in the box office last year.

From what I heard even Fury Road wasn't a success so apparently it's to be expected.

A big part of it is apparently that the theatrical experience has become so flipping expensive and much poorer because of people not being quiet and using their phones.
