It's hard to believe the show came out 7 years ago.
And they STILL tease Ladybug and Cat Noir!
New theme music also a boxWoah where did the time go?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."That one episode made it look like they’re getting together would cause the end of the world.
I like to keep my audience riveted. Those two get to get a room already!
New theme music also a boxThose two episodes.

LMAO That's true.

I assume there is some variation of Marinette and Adrien getting together that doesn't end in disaster. Maybe just waiting until Hawk-Shadow-Moth-Monarch is finally defeated.
I actually came across some Miraculous merch in the wild today; large doll/figures (Marinette, Ladybug and Cat Noir) and Kwami plushies (though weirdly they only had Pollen and Trixx); the later was quite tempting, but I resisted.
The most common theory I've seen is that she's a Compulsive Liar and a Jerkass, so she has an actual condition but instead of trying to manage it, it just becomes the shape of her jerkassery.
As for Marinette and Adrien getting together, all the problems in the future episodes stem back to Hawkmoth being Adrien's father. But Bunnyx's intro implied that the mantle will get passed on to someone else eventually, so Ladybug and Chat Noir will still be busy, but their identities won't be instantly revealed to the villain the second Adrien is happy.
Yeah, that's bugged me about it. The future episodes, especially the first one (the second one is better in most respects), present it as happening because they made the mistake of getting together, but the actual reason in both cases is that Gabriel finds out Adrien's secret identity and manipulates him into being prey to an akuma, something that could (and probably eventually will) happen without an identity reveal. note .
This series has a real Status Quo Is God problem, constantly teasing changes in the characters' situation, but then going out of its way to undo headway so it can go back to stage one. Chat Blanc, especially, was kind of a weird "gasp! Turns out the status quo can never change because if it does the universe will end! Not that it matters because the show will ever stop pushing them together" story.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah those episodes also kind of bug me, because you can really see the strings where the writers have contrived each hypothetical situation to keep the Status Quo.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobWell, of course Marinette thinks the problem is her and Adrien getting together. She doesn't know Gabriel is Hawkmoth and is deliberately manipulating them because he found out.
I know there are a lot of things we complain about with this show, but it's also been good at juggling who knows what to use Dramatic Irony for both comedy and, erm, drama.
I know that Lila's a Consummate Liar obviously, but it just seems stupid that she would still keep trying to impress Adrien with the same lies when Adrien can't even stand her anymore, like did she seriously expect an other response from him ? I can understand her still trying to manipulate Adrien with her superfluous lies post Volpina, cause Adrien still wasn't aware of her malicious nature yet, but you'd expect she'd at least try to change tactics post Ladybug. But no, it seems like she's asking to get roasted lol.
I guess she's just that desperate for attention that even negative attention is good enough for her.

I can't believe they really let Alix's dad sell out her daughter's identity to Chloe and Lila ( who was all but confirmed to be the future Hawk Moth in Timetagger ) lmao. Poor girl will now need to spend her next 10 years hiding in the Burrow.
1) I think that could use spoiler tag.
2) How is that different from what was already her situation? she's hiding with Rabbit Miraculous until Buttefly wearer is defeated. It hardly matters if they know her identity or not.
>all but confirmed to be the future Hawk Moth in Timetagger
You wanna explain that? We've watched the episode multiple times and never saw this, despite having heard about it repeatedly.

Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Yeah this is the first I've heard the idea that Lila is the next Hawk Moth. Where'd that theory stem from and how does Timetagger "confirm" it?
I feel like there was some implication (or maybe Word of God from when the episode aired?) that someone else had the butterfly at that point but I don't think there was anything in the episode explicitly hinting it was Lila.
"Let’s see who’s stronger: someone that has something to protect, or someone that has nothing to lose."I think the implication people came to that comes from how she’s the babysitter of present Chris.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. It took a long while, but Miraculous has finally received a console shovelware title: Rise of the Sphinx on October 25, 2022.
To Sunchet : Because by knowing her identity the villains can make plans to target her specifically, by kidnapping her family like they did with Alya's and create another time travelling villain like Timetagger to draw her out of the Burrow. Letting a possible future big villain with essentially brainwashing powers know who's in the possession of one of the most overpowered Miraculous is anything but a smart idea.
To everyone else : Timetagger told the current Hawk Moth : "You're right on the first one, but not on the second. The Miraculous are not for you ... I said that I was sent by the Hawk Moth of the future, but I never said the Hawk Moth of the future was you". In the same episode, immediately after Gabriel and Nathalie have a discussion about him getting replaced in the future by someone else, it cuts to a scene of Lila babysitting Nino's little brother, Chris, who was the akumatized villain who told Gabriel that he'll get replaced in the future. And if you compare Timetagger singing praises to future Hawk Moth about how clever they are for coming up with this plan with little Chris getting a crush on Lila in literally the same episode, it's pretty obvious towards who is the episode heavily hinting to be the next main villain.
And honestly I don't really see how a Butterly villain could get to Bunnyx easily as long as they don't know her identity, unless they create another Miracle Queen situation, but in that case they could get to all the permanent heroes, including the main duo.
Why draw her out if you have your own time-travelling villain? What do you need rabbit for? This is overthinking, if the issue is only a plothole if you acknowledge that villains already can time-travel then it's not a big issue.
Getting any Miraculous would mean depriving the heroes of it, that alone is worth it. Getting one like the Rabbit would be a impressive gain.
Depending on how the villain’s power works (and/or who gets akumatized) then the Rabbit Miraculous might be preferable. Timebreaker required energy to travel back in time, and ended up making a Cat Noir (and his Miraculous) disappear in order to do so.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’
>Why would she lie
I assume it's like breathing for her.
