Sot C is my favorite game, so I'll keep an eye on this.
It look pretty good.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventurehopefully it does enough different from Shadow to not be a complete clone.
I like how the title can be read as either "Prey" or "Pray".
"hopefully it does enough different from Shadow to not be a complete clone."
It has some Assassin's Creed mixed in.
So we're climbing a lot of towers?
So its not different from Shadow of the Colossus at all?

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/They...my god.
You say that like its a bad thing.
Watch SymphogearShadow Of The Colossus is my favorite game, too...
This looks so far... too much like it. It's like Sot C with snowy paint. I hope they show more things in later trailers / that the game has stuff to make it unique. It looks like it even has the climbing mechanic there.
Let's just say, if I can ever get the system to play it on, I'm more looking forward to The Last Guardian .
In which I attempt to be a writer.Well, actually, it shares a lot in common with The Long Dark. There's a survival aspect to the game.
Hope there's a console release in the future.

I don't think the SOTC colossi would try to devour you, right?
I have a message from another time...I've only seen a Let's Play of SOTC, but Dirge looked pretty intent on eating you (at least it looked like it, either way most of them didn't even have mouths.) Others ignored you or tried to crush you most of the time.
I'm interested how this game plays out, mostly cuz it is for PC when SOTC wasn't. I hope it does have more unique designs for the colossi and better music since those were the most interesting things about SOTC for me.

"Liar liar on the wall, give the world to me..."they were more or less the crux of the entire experience, actually. if the colossi in Sot C didn't have the extremely strong visual aesthetic the game is known for, it would have fallen flat. a game that is literally all about monsters can't really have monsters who look lame.
I'm hyped for this title. Hope to see more of it soon (and if it was released on a console- hopefully PS 4- that would be ideal).
Hey, I've moved to a new account! I go by Silver Glyph now.Oh finally, an update on that.
Hate to be a necromancer but this game is finally out now in early access form on Steam.
Currently downloading it now. Will update on whether or not it lives up to the shoes it's trying to fill.
I hope it's good! I'm gonna wait until it's fully released myself.
Beat the first boss. So far it feels like a hybrid of Shadow of the Colossus and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Besides killing giant bosses you also have to manage hunger, temperature, and fatigue. You can cut down trees as a result and it feels like it was lifted directly out of BotW. There's also multiple weapons and weapon durability mechanics to them. Although it seems like bosses don't require weapons to take down because of this. Also seems like there are multiple ways to getting on top of them instead of just one static way.
Other than that, there are the usual early access derps. Namely, the frames tend to shit themselves when you're not actually fighting a boss. There are also what I can assume are supposed to be enemies. I say 'assume' because other than reacting in a hostile manner they don't actively attempt to attack you, or at least chase after you.
Other than that, so far I'm enjoying it.

"In Prey for the Gods, you play a lone hero sent to the edge of a dying world to discover the mystery behind a never-ending winter. Arriving with only the clothes on your back, you must survive the colossal dangers that you encounter. To restore balance and reclaim the land from the brink, you will be faced with questions that not even a God knows the answer to."
Not much else is known save it's PC only for now.
