Started playing it today. Had a black screen problem on the main menu but I fixed it.

Anyway I stopped after I was sent to go beat the sixth graders after helping out the Human Kite (holy shit Cousin Kyle is annoying, is that how he is in the show?) and Suuuuuper Craig!

[up]Yes, that’s exactly how he is in the show.

Should this be restored to Mitch Connor's entry in the character page?:

or should it's current nonexistence be left alone?

Now almost to the first night mission, just have to go home. Finally I'll be able to walk around at night!

Also I'm really enjoying the Running Gag of having fights interrupted by cars XD

Man this really is Cartman at his worst. Not only bringing his satanic imaginary minions out but intentionally having cats mutated into viscious many assed cats to exploit their urine, despite cats being one of the few things he cares about and that spite that Timmy managed to best him in the superhero plqn. Not surprised the next one will have New Kid embracing villainy.

Welp, I just got screwed over by a Game-Breaking Bug at Shady Acres, and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to fix it. Such a shame, I really liked playing this game, but it looks as though I’m going to have to wait for a patch.

I checked the Steam forum for this game and apparently it’s a pretty common issue for PC gamers. Huh.

The end of the third day’s campaign could probably have been a two parter on its own, although it might take too many cues from the original Mysterion episodes.

The police trying to excuse their racism only to reveal they were in service to an Outer God was great. Revealing that they were following Lovecraft to the letter when HE was hella racist was better. And then the kids successfully defeating an Outer God is both hilarious and awesome.

Oof, this thread is old.

So by now, the game is not only on Nintendo Switch (ergo making it the first South Park game to be on a Nintendo console since South Park 64, IINM) but it's also featured 2 new story DLC's each with a new class and buddy:

  • "From Dusk 'till Casa Bonita" with the Necromancer class and Henrietta
  • "Bring the Crunch" with the Final Girl class (better than it sounds) and Mintberry Crunch (SHABLAGOO!).

On that note, you guys ever wondered why in the "Casa Bonita" DLC, the game goes out of its way to not refer to Michael Jackson by his name and calls him Corey Haim, even when you're like "uh, that's totally Michael Jackson, you guys"? Is it because the Michael Jackson estate would raise hell over the idea of you fighting the ghost of MJ?

Plants vs. Zombies had to replace their Michael Jackson Thriller zombie with a Disco zombie because his estate found it in poor taste. They might be trying to avoid a similar situation.

[up]It’s not an entirely unique clause. The Jimi Hendrix estate asked for the adaptation of Altered Carbon to not use the hologram of Hendrix from the novel because of the many un-Hendrix like things he does. (Although in that case, we got the joy of snarky sidekick Edgar Allan Poe).
