Suna is more or less Gwen. And not looking forward to this "petty rivalry".

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Even more new episode summaries! I wonder if it's Chemistry Man or Chemical Man, or if they're 2 separate robots.
13: I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) 'When Ice Man decides to be a hero, Mega Man, influenced by Ice Man's literalness, steps down from the hero biz until a true crisis snaps him out of it.'
14: Trust Your Guts, Man! 'Guts Man tries to undo Dr. Light's eco-friendly disposal of trash in Silicon City by infiltrating the family and destroying the Lighthouse so he can eat it!'
15: Drill of the Hunt 'Mega Man tries a quick fix using Hypno Woman's powers to rehabilitate Drill Man, to disastrous results!'
16: Power Cycle 'After replicating Elec Man's powers, an underslept/overcharged Mega Man goes on a 24/7 hero spree that ends up turning him into his own worst enemy.'
17: Bored to be Wild 'Mega Man teams up with his crush, Ashley Adderley, to solve a series of science riddles left by Chemical Man, who's plotting to turn all the city's metal into rubber. '
18: Enter the Wood Man 'Mega Man accidentally awakens Wood Man, who thinks it's still the Hard Age, sets off on a path of destruction toward Silicon City. '

The Protomen enhanced my life.Ew romance.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I wonder if Ashley will be seen or mentioned at all before that episode.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Flipped a coin, the result was no. Did any of the promotional material mention, or at least hint at, a love interest?
That aside, looks like the Ice Man episode is going to be another personality glitch episode. It wouldn't be out of nowhere since it's been brought up he's influenced when using Fire Man's, but it's weird as Aki would have had Ice Man's specs for a while. These glitches are really something they should consult Dr. Light about.

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I think Ashley Adderley is in the intro, right next to Suna and Bert, being the girl with the blueish hair.
I'd complain how late it is to introduce a character after the tenth episode, but there are technically 52 episodes.
But yeah the series feels very lazy in how they introduce new characters the audience hasn't seen before but the characters know. Rush gets no formal introduction, and Peter Punkowski (how I hate him) only gets a brief "oh god not him" in his first appearance.

All sources I can find say 26 episodes, though I'm unsure if it's 26 half-hours or 52 11-minutes.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I'm assuming it's 26 half-hours, since 26 shorts would make for a paltry 13 half-hours.
It would seem really ill-advised to go for 13 half-hours, since there's three Robot Masters left in the Rogues Gallery rotation to introduce and two more potentially major characters (Ashley and Namagem).
Since we're ten shorts in (on the CN App, at least), this means that we'd be halfway into the first season. It feels like it'd be a significant mistake on the show's part to have Namagem show up so late in Season 1, especially since the series is just not selling me on Sgt. Night as a Big Bad.

Is it basically he barely shows up and/or the feeling of Strawman Has a Point, because I kinda feel the same way for those reasons.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’It's basically just the fact he barely shows up, yeah. He really sucks at having the feeling of a central villain, because his screentime has boiled down to:
- Turn everything into a "Humans superior, robots inferior" rally.
- Being ominous.
- Being ominous at a "Humans superior, robots inferior" rally.
He feels just super uninvolved in the narrative, and most of the robots after the pilot aren't even his fault (I mean, Blasto Woman could be. Maybe.). Even Ice Man was because Aki apparently poorly worded his impromptu speech (which I feel is still a dumb reason for the conflict to start).
Ice Man is lethally Literal-Minded.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Let’s be honest, a lot of people are waiting for Bert to go full Dr. Wily and usurp what feels like a placeholder.
Bert slowly built an Evil-O-Beam that slowly turns Robots Evil.
Because Light didn't pick up a nickel he dropped. He'll make that geezer suffer!

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. He really does just feel like a placeholder.
It'd be funny if Bert going full Wily was accompanied by music and a scene like this.
(Mega Man 2 version because that's my preferred Wily musical jingle.)

Anything interesting to talk about? I just realized the main character looks like some pre school character!
You know I just realized the missed potential by not having Mega Mini be the voice that says "You got [Boss Weapon]!"
Edited by TheGunheart on Aug 29th 2018 at 12:04:31 PM
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"I think the whole "Hard Age war" thing could probably be interesting if I wasn't certain the series wouldn't tackle the topic (I know Wood Man's episode is apparently slated to address it, but I don't think we'll get much information. Will Mega Man get PTSD after copying his powers?)
Also, this series will apparently start airing in Canada in September. I'm kind of suspecting a situation where the run will finish in Canada before it does in America.
The backstory seems more interesting than the present-day story, at least for now. The first 10 episodes already aired on-demand, while the televised episodes catch up next Sunday. Once episodes that haven't been seen anywhere air we'll have more to discuss.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I know this sounds weird, but... think Mega Man could replicate Sergeant Night's robotic arm's schematics? (assuming he made some changes to it to defend himself). And if he does, do you think he'd inherit Night's unity-hating attitude?
Get Equipped With: Schizophrenia!
Wonder if Namagem has anything like Mega Mini inside his head, maybe even a "human form" like Aki
I wonder why they didn't just go with "Negaman".
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I wonder if they'll make his real name Aku to pair with Aki
LONG AGO IN A DISTANT LAND
Bite my shiny metal ass.
"Chemical Man" would have fit better as a name, IMO.
At least we know who the Robot Master that looks like a beaker is now.
