"Look dude… I'm not gonna lie, maybe later. But right now the fucking big-ass shiny in the sky is my priority. You in?"

The primordial arachnid dragon he's standing off with glowers.

   "Once we are done, allow me and (my spiderling if he is present) to retreat safely."   

"Totally."

Arachnolacanth grunts as Sporacles proceeds to mount him, and they blitz off towards the Thanos at Spiralblock.

Xerulean looks up at the intimidatingly tall mountain, dawdling. He wants to avenge his siblings… but…

He doesn't get a chance to reconsider as Arachnolacanth and Sporacles bowl into him. He shrieks a bit as he is comically knocked up the length of the mountain.

Nagato Yuki peers out of the border to her pocket space, seeming more disheveled than ever before. The inability of the remnants of her SOS Brigade to contact her appear to have been exacerbated by her increasing isolation. It looks… like the loss of her two companions has really gotten to her, despite her stoicness.

"…"

"Vengeance… sounds nice," she murmurs before almost instantaneously warping to the location.

"Hopefully, a well-placed Sunhallowed Arrow would obliterate that snowback in an explosion you could probably see from Tamriel. Wouldn't that be an incredible sight to behold?"

After shaking the water from his hair, Viserys grabs a second towel and begins drying himself off... before noticing that Awkeff seemed to be looking him over, prompting the Nord to raise an eyebrow.

Spiralblock Peak

Defense was already there, having shared information to Thanos about the Smash Ball Spirit; However, he was now accompanied by Bowser and Asura instead of Cheelai and Phoenix.

They stood among the masses, looking intently.

Cellblock C

"Don't you dare run away from me!"

Suicide Mouse starts off towards the Observation Deck.

Observation Deck

RED grows in size to counteract this, turning into his Flying Form and using his wings to attempt to force himself out of Slendy's grasp. It doesn't work, but BEN and X start slicing away at tentacles, multiple slices attempting to cut RED free.

If he drops, he will fire more Soul Burn at Slenderman while retreating backwards, gliding over the rest of the group.

Pinkamena fires a Cake Cannon blast at Slenderman.

Awkeff blinks a few times, then shakes her head clear. "Umm... What about Bloodcursed?"

Observation Deck

Slenderman is carried away by the projectile fire, landing on his back some meters away.

Targa attempts to strike the downed Slendy with a Purgation Thrust... and then Slenderman catches his hand. "Ohh noooo..."

Slenderman twists Targa's arm and kicks him in the direction of BEN.

Jeff is clearly not a team player. He raises his knife over his head and lunges at Pinkamena.

Viserys shakes his head.

"I've actually never fired one of those kinds of arrows before, so... I honestly have no idea how one might affect Galeem."

He retrieves a couple bottles of mead, takes a seat upon the ground, and gestures for Awkeff to join him while offering her one of said bottles.

"That being said, I could probably have Serana make a few, then launch them straight into the bastard's core."

Observation Deck

BEN catches Targa, bumping him off of his shield, only to get an idea.

BEN:    "Hey, everyone fight each other! It'll throw him off!"   

He then tries to bash the side of Targa's face in with that same shield, acting as if he was going all-out bt doing anything but.

Pinkamena jumps back, dismounting from the now gone Cake Cannon and smirking.

Pinkamena:    "Oh, so now I get some sweet action? Nice!"   

She takes out a knife of her own, the large butcher's knife, and clashes it with Jeff's blade. It seems she's not one for playing nice either, as she seemingly ignores BEN's words while unintentionally obeying them.

Suicide Mouse shows up on the scene, almost willing to reel back and revel in the chaos if it weren't for the fact that Slendy was the first person he saw. The Kingdom Key S reappears in his hands as he transforms it into Reaper's Scythe, one of many Forms the blade could take, fashioning it into a giant scythe of darkness. He dashes up and attempts a spinning slash, moving to hit Slender.

X and RED stare each other down, before they immediately clash a stream of semi-hardened blood and a Soul Burn, creating a beam struggle to top off the chaotic centerpiece.

Awkeff shakes herself dry like a dog, a safe distance away from Viserys, before plopping down beside him and graciously accepting the offered bottle.

"Wouldn't that... hurt her?"

Observation Deck

Targa's helmet shatters as he staggers back.

He promptly strips the rest of Kyo-oh's armor, revealing he was always wearing his original uniform just underneath, and draws his signature pistols, strafing around BEN without firing.

Jeff pushes against Pinkamena in the Blade Lock, giving his signature Slasher Smile as he attempts to overpower her.

Slenderman seems... put off by the chaos, but he quickly comes over it when Suicide Mouse attacks. Tentacles form around his arms as he engages in a cruel mockup of Suicide Mouse's spin attack, trying to clang against his scythe like a pair of Beyblades going at it.

Throne Room

Narktus shifts in his seat uneasily.

"Oh, to hell with it! STAR DREAM! You and I are going to have words when this is over!" He draws the Morphic Bloodletter from his belt and bursts out of the throne room, leaving a sonic boom in his wake as he charges through the halls of his fortress.

"Rest assured, I would be the one firing those arrows from Auriel's Bow, not her. Unlike that disgrace of a Dragonborn, Fandare, I'd rather not cause Serana unnecessary pain simply for a chance to destroy that glowing bastard."

Viserys takes a drink of his own mead.

"You know, Awkeff, I couldn't help noticing how you were looking at me earlier..."

Observation Deck

X knows what's coming, immediately changing his game plan.

X:    "Targa! Boss man incoming!"   

He dashes up the wall and away from the ever-persistent Soul Burn, digging a claw in the corner connecting the wall and the roof; RED is about to burn him but stops, hearing the incoming sonic booms and immediately deciding he wasn't paid enough for this shit, trying to provide some sort of mental link to Dharkon or another of his men to get him the hell out of there.

Pinkamena simply pushes against Jeff; An apple replaces the two knives emblem on her back-right thigh and she begins to push even harder.

Suicide Mouse's scythe connects with the other one, once again catching two characters in a semi-blade lock, this time him and Slendy.

Awkeff covers her face with her hands. "Stop... by the Nine, please put something on."

"Uh-oh." Targa holsters his guns and braces himself.

Narktus comes to an immediate stop at the observation deck, the winds dragged along by his speed rushing past him and blowing against his cape for dramatic effect.

He targets what he believes to be the biggest threat. He holds out his free hand, spreads his fingers open, and a circular portal, not a star-shaped one like the ones Star Dream conjured up, appears in the air above Red. Then he swings his arm down and the portal descends around the kaiju. Red will be relieved to find, if he gets caught in the portal, that it sends him back to the Dark Realm.

Those still there are not so fortunate. Narktus activates the Bloodletter's lightsaber form, snarling with barely-concealed rage.

Jeff doesn't notice, as he is too busy still trying to kill Pinkamena. His knife just gets really really big to counter the pony's burst of strength.

Slenderman, however, takes immediate notice, leaping away from Suicide Mouse (and taking a gash across the chest for it) and landing in front of the 'newcomer'.

   "..."   

Slenderman lashes a tentacle from his body at Narktus, who slices it in half. Slendy's immediate reaction is to keep slinging tentacle-whips at Narktus, but the dark overlord cleaves through them like a whirlwind as he slowly advances towards the Slender Man, in a style that could put Suicide Mouse to shame.

After grabbing his discarded tunic and putting it back on, Viserys downs his remaining mead in one gulp, then offers Awkeff a good-natured smirk.

"Heh... you were actually enjoying the view, weren't you, Fahliil Fahdon? I had no idea that you were so attracted to barbaric, battle-scarred Nordic men."

Observation Deck

RED looks up and breathes a sigh of relief as he is warped out.

X hops down and reconvenes with BEN and Targa.

He simply nods at Targa before making the devil horns with his hands and jabbing them in either side of his neck.

   Meito Kieiken Hateful Rebirth!   

He is overwhelmed with demonic energy, but the aesthetic is slightly different than that of Targa; A black mist surrounds him, demonic energy sparking throughout the particles strewn about this new aura. He still has the electric devil horns, but the aura is most definitely different.

X's sense overload as he lets a scream out to the sky.

X:    "IT'S GOOD TO BE WHOLE!"   

And with that, he rushes Slenderman from behind, attempting a few slashes before a sweeping kick to get him to turn and face him, ending with a Purgation Thrust.

BEN supports with a volley of arrows.

Suicide Mouse sees his comrades and smiles; while he's far from the notion of them working as a unit, it's nice to see them all together.

Pinkamena pushes back, keeping up; She seems to have gotten way stronger, almost as if she's tapping into someone else's power.

"Sh-shut up!" Awkeff laughs in embarrassment.

She looks thoughtfully at her mead bottle. "Maybe I can't hold this stuff down without losing my composure..."

She glances off to the northeast for a second.

Slenderman conjures tentacles from all surfaces in the room, trying to surround and ensnare everyone inside a wicked cocoon.

Narktus unleashes a burst of sheer force from himself that shreds the tentacles, then roars in fury as he charges forward at breakneck speed and fucking Falcon Punches Slenderman across the Observation Deck.

Slenderman goes careening away into Jeff, knocking him and Pinkamena loose of their blade lock as the two white-headed monsters tumble over each other, collapsing in a pile against a wall of the deck.

"They have to be separated immediately! X, go and -"

   "WHO ELSE WANTS SOME?!"   

"Oh crap." Targa turns to face his rage-blinded leader. "Someone back me up here, this is going to turn ugly fast!"

Viserys laughs along with Awkeff, though before he can say anything else, he notices the Altmer Dovahkiin's brief glance to the northeast after musing about the possible effect of mead on her composure.

"Is... something the matter, Awkeff?"

Observation Deck

Suicide Mouse goes after Jeff and Slendy, attempting to kick Slendy off of Jeff.

X and BEN stand before Narktus, but BEN disappears for some reason, leaving behind an Elegy statue.

X:    "The hell?"   

Pinkamena bounces to where BEN was standing, smirking evilly as she stares down Narktus.

NLA

A tent is set up on the side of the street, the Elder D'Arby seated at the side closest to the wall, facing outward.

Next to the tent is an Elegy statue, which bursts open to reveal BEN, who takes a seat opposite D'Arby.

BEN:    "I need the gem in your possession."   

D'Arby: "Why don't you play a round? You win, you get the gem."

BEN:    "And if I lose?"   

D'Arby: "You have a sword which smites evil. I want it."

BEN:    "I don't see why you want it, but you have a deal."

"Just... thought I saw something off in the distance. I suppose it's not the end of the world if we don't examine every little detail."

Slenderman rolls off Jeff. He slowly pulls himself up, holding his head with one hand.

Then, 'seeing' that the guy who just laid him out flat is still up and raring to go, he does the smart thing. GTFO.

Narktus flies at X with a knee drive into vertical spinning sword swing.

"Then let's hope whatever you noticed isn't malevolent, because I'm not in the mood for some ancient evil or a Daedric Prince's trickery. Talos help us if it's one of Sheogorath's blasted antics..."

Viserys rises to his feet, holds out a hand towards Awkeff, then pulls the High Elf to her feet if she takes it.

"Well, lead the way, Fahliil Fahdon."

Thanos waits for the fighters to gather, then raises his mighty glove, holding up the cosmic cube!

"Fighters! The time has come! We struggled through countless fights to achieve this! Galeem, the lord of light and annihilator of many of your friends and loved ones, is within our reach! Beyond these stairs lies our final battle with him. Now, some fool might feed you a motivational speech; an eager invite to bloodshed; reassurance that you will win, perhaps... but I am no such fool. There is another being that dwells beyond the veil of darkness, and to truly put this madness aside, we will need to kill him as well.

"Thus, let us form a wave of fighters and spirits! The first wave will battle Galeem and defeat him! If Dharkon arrives after that, then the second wave shall converge on him immediately. And even if he doesn't, then the second wave may act as reinforcements during the battle, or perhaps fend off whatever puppets of Galeem continue to fight after their master's demise." Some of the groups stand united. Optimus and the Autobots are looking ready to battle. The sisters are united with Neuff standing at the forefront with a grim expression. The Sheperds are gathered, with Samsara in the middle, holding up the spirit of the Smash Ball that was given to her. Thor arrives on Kirin-back, accompanied by Baldur, holding onto their own Smash Ball spirit.

Thanos sweeps his gloved arm out over the crowd dramatically. "This will be a difficult battle. Many of you will fall, some of you will die, Dharkon may not even come... but in the end, your actions will save an entire world and topple a wicked god. Those who wish to participate to the first wave of assault may climb up first and bond to the available spirits, if they wish. Those who don't may wish to stay behind and wait."

Thanos turns around to face the heavens at the end of the staircase and flashes a wicked grin. All the spirits in his arsenal - Gogeta (Dragon Ball Z), Vegito (Dragon Ball Z), Clash of Fused Saiyan Gods, Bazelgeuse, Arceus, Dogamy and Dogaressa, and of course Smash Ball - emerge from the Sanctuary, ready to pair up with anybody who comes forth for their aid.

"I shall deign to remain behind. I'll prepare a decisive strike to cripple Galeem and allow you to finish him off."

Callis grabs Keeby, uses Instant Transmission to get over to the Floating City, and throws the poor yellow Kirby into the Gogeta (Dragon Ball Z) spirit, promptly merging him with it. "You go in Group 1. I'll stay back here."

Hit just kind of... appears. His eyes are closed.

Awkeff takes Viserys' hand and rises up. She dons her signature Nightingale/Ancient Shrouded armor with the Jagged Crown, then tosses Viserys a Dragon Wings potion before downing one of her own. Wings sprout from her back. She takes to the air... toward one of Thanos' markers.

After donning his own armor, Viserys catches the offered Dragon Wings potion and downs it in a single gulp, then flies after Awkeff towards the marker.

After a brief discussion amongst the trio of Avengers, Thor and Pietro step forth to join those participating in the first wave, with the latter pointing to Vegito's spirit.

"Hey, Grimace! Mind passing me that tough-looking spirit, because something tells me he might come in handy."

"Stark, your absence had better be due to you making final preparations to that blasted armor..."

Wanda, meanwhile, turns her attention to Mara and gestures for the demon to approach her, seemingly wanting to bond to her spirit.

"The sooner we end this, Mara, the sooner you can hold up your end of our little unbreakable vow."

Then Loki strolls onto the scene, flipping a dagger in one hand.

"Ah, wonderful, you've not yet begun the mayhem without me! I was beginning to worry that Galeem and Dharkon would've already been annihilated by the time I arrived."

Sporacles looks around, before deciding to go up with the first wave. Arachnolacanth hangs back.

   ”what the hell is he talking about, leviathan hunter.”   

“Dunno. All I know is that there’s another big guy after the shiny one.”

He whips out his knife and starts to step forwards, before stepping back indecisively.

Xeru finally lands, and bounces off the ground near Keeby with a squeak.

And Nagato, frowning all the while, decides to stay back. She does wave a greeting towards the Thor she knows, though.

Ringabel would have a mad grin on his face, as he considers rushing towards galeem, being the first one to the fight He's somewhat calmed down though, so he'd run a check on his equipment, making sure all his weaponry would be up to snuff...

NLA, Residential district Monado II Shulk would be making preparations for the journey ahead, alongside Rep!Monado Shulk. The two would consider a duel to see who would be best to head after galeem...

"And? Do you see them?", someone else in the building asks the one who's hiding and watching.

"No... no, I don't think either of them are there..."

"Then they're still..."

She sighs worriedly.

"We'll find them. That red-haired boy promised to keep an eye out for them too."

"I hope so... i-if our last meeting ended up being the way we parted forever, I'd... I'd never forgive myself..."

Picky looks ready, but still nervous. Porky calmly grins.

   "Some good news indeed, one step closer to being turned back to normal."   

He turns to the Masked Man.

   "Remember to make use of that Spirit I gave you."   

"Yes, Master Porky."

Marx, meanwhile, hops over to Mara.

"Hey, you look strong. Let's team up."

Mara stares at him, looking him over, then looks unamused.

   "... Yeah, no."   , she says dismissively.    "If I have to bond with someone, it's going to have to be someone who doesn't make me look like a total joke."   

When Marx begins to protest, Mara just ignores him and looks around. Noticing Wanda's gesture, she appears surprised, then approaches. When she gets to her and hears her out, she smirks.

   "Despite what I promised you, I didn't figure you'd be this eager. Then again, I'll admit that you've shown me when we fought Count Kevin that you're willing to cooperate against a greater threat. Alright, I'll lend you my power. Use it well, and don't die."   

She then allows herself to be equipped to Wanda, who'll suddenly feel much, much tougher defensively. As if all frailties that come with being a mage have vanished into thin air, and she'll be able to take so much damage that she might not need her barriers nearly as much.

   "And just to heighten our chances of success, I've decided that I'll be lending you some 'reinforcements' once the battle begins."   , she mentally says to Wanda.

Plague Knight, who's equipped with Mona, ponders.

"Hm... as much as I want to strike at Galeem, my carnage is most effective in big numbers. It might be better for us to join Wave 2."

"I feel the same way.", Mona mentally says to him. "I'm betting a lot of people will be going after Galeem directly already, so they'll need some people willing to stay behind."

Naesala continues to just observe. Selena, Odin and Laslow go to join the Sheperds.

"Lucina.", Selena says. "Do you guys have any need for us?"

"Selena and I can heighten physical strength while Odin heightens magical strength."

"And this way, we can strike down this fell being together!"

Pride crosses his arms, glancing around to see if he can see anyone he'd even consider letting himself bond with. He won't accept some random, normal person. Someone'd have to really catch his eye for him to consider bonding with them.

Bismark arrives in the city and listens to the announcement. He takes a deep breath.

"Alright... alright... it's time to put my practice to the test... I'll be helpful... it'll be dangerous, but... but I'll be helpful...'', he mutters to himself for encouragement.

Botar seems darkly eager.

"Excellent. This couldn't have come at a better time. My temporary ally will do well in the second wave."

He then warps in a rather surprising person. Toa Tuyet◊, the traitorous Toa who fought using the Nui Stone and killed Mutran. She's in chains at the moment though, and doesn't say anything yet, just glancing around.

Hearing the announcement, Des and the Great Light warp themselves and BE!Tobajas towards the city. BE!Tobajas, after arriving, approaches the Sisters, clearing his throat to get Neuff's attention. He shows her a smile.

"How about I bond with you? We'll be able to save Argo and Demo together."

The Great Light and Des observe for the meantime, and Topaz mingles in with the crowd, trying to avoid being seen by the two.

Psycho!Ness suddenly shows up as well, through PK Teleport, and Picky carefully approaches him. He'd heard stories about him from Ness and his friends, but those few days he'd spent in Pseudo's base had shown him that Psycho!Ness didn't seem nearly as bad. He'd still be careful though.

"Am I too late to help?", Psycho!Ness asks, sounding winded.

"No, but...", Picky says, narrowing his eyes for a moment.

"... Are you feeling alright? You look really pale."

"I'm... I'm fine..."

"I... don't think you are..."

"As long as I can fight, I'm fine."

Picky puts his hand on Psycho!Ness' head.

"Dude, you're hotter than a stove. You're obviously sick."

"Sick or not, I can... can fight..."

I'll participate first. I suggested that Xander, Morgan, Laurent, Frederick, Samsara and Takumi participate in th first wave of assault. I'll keep aunt Emmeryn for later, she'll be able to heal us after arriving and the other sheperds will provide cover fire.

I would suggest... Ow-Odin, perhaps you should use your spirit to cooperate with me. My magical abilities would receive a significant upgrade and I could perhaps balance your... temperament.

Perhaps you could use your spirit on me, Inigo. I am aware of your true strength and battle experience. he says. Who knows, perhaps our already-formed bond may strengthen the melding.

You can meld with me, Selena. Our styles would compliment well and I have a good relationship with, erm, you in my timeline.

I am ready to be possessed if you deem it safe.

I have a bad feeling about being possessed but if it help... just don't mess with my mind.

Those in the second wave hangs back, though Noire waves at Selena from afar and Ryoma nods, looking at group as a whole.

We shall assist you once the spirit is greatly weakened. March forward and know that we stand together !

And if it goes sour, we'll be falling together ! says Gangrel, giggling. Just like Em-

Miriel casts a silence spell, and his tongue twists a little, causing him pain and surprise.

This will be a critical battle. There shall be no in-fighting or little taunting, am I clear ?

The Transformers looks at the Toas and Windblade points.

Behold, Prime. Those are similar to our kind.

Perhaps we will be able to discuss with them, once this is over. However...

An autobot steps out of his group and smack his hand on his chest. He's pretty large even by Transformers standards, and battle-scarred, showing a rather tremendous amount of experience in battle.

Alright then ! One of you spirits is going to merge with my spark and we'll blow up this thing up here and now.

Prime look on and wait.

Neuff nods, without speaking at all, and merge. Then, the sisters split, with the lower five being in the first wave.

   Just to make it clear, you have to survive.. because I'm killing y'all, instead of this angel monstrosity above !    says Troa.

Whatever spirit remains, go with us. says Ain. Our merged power will devastate a god.

See, Ain ? This is why I wanted to make an army. Soon, we sisters will be killing a deity !

Floating Islands

Awkeff leads Viserys to the Floating Islands, just in time to tune in to the hologram Thanos' presentation.

She wordlessly glares up at the stairs to the heavens.

Floating City

"... Forgive the intrusion, but I would like to take part in both waves."

Callis turns to look at Hit. "Umm? No need to apologize, lots of people are popping in out of nowhere. And yeah, that should be fine, as long as you can handle it."

"Very well." Hit takes the first step up the stairs.

Vegito's Spirit bonds to Pietro.

Arceus studies Marx. It nudges the Clash of Fused Saiyan Warriors spirit over to Marx, clearly not wanting to offer to bond with him itself. Then it approaches Ironhide, as if offering itself to him.

The Smash Ball spirit drifts about aimlessly, seemingly waiting for whoever wants it to claim it.

The Dogi simply sniff all around the fighters who don't yet have spirits, trying to examine them all.
