X squints at the giant hand, interested. He gets hit and carried, spinning around before falling on his behind quite comically.

x:    "Interesting indeed..."   

"Oh-"

Shiv!Trigo indeed takes the brunt of the attack, and is staggered by the blast. He starts to raise a psi'maj barrier (Barrier of the Mind) as Dodon! and Hit!Trigo start charging Kamehamehas.

Other!Trigo tries to slam Callis into the floor with telekinesis.

Targa again waits for X to recover.

Callis gets grounded.

She turns Super Saiyan with an explosion of Ki, taking the round to stabilize herself.

"Shit."

Knowing damn well that multiform will quickly become counterproductive with this sort of power difference, the two Trigos charging beams quickly resorb the energy to put to better use. Shiv!Trigo shunts the Barrier of the Mind towards her as all of the triclops all try to converge.

"Taiyoken!"

Other!Trigo attempts to buy time for the quartet to get into formation.

Windblade raises a shield and defend herself from the fireball, tanking the attack for some of her smaller teammates. She is pushed back however, and unable to intervene this round, though at least she's helped Lucina, who took quite a bit of damage because of the radius of the flames.

She grabs the blade thrown at her and makes some very swift movements with it, striking the blades at the air multiple times and posing.

Marx grabs the item in his mouth and starts flying up again. He's startled when he notices one of the three fireballs nearing him and franctically starts swerving around it, and the other two, once he notices those nearby too. He ends up barely making it to a safe spot... but said spot happens to be very close to where Rathalos lands. In his panic, he drops the item right in front of himself, and in front of Rathalos. Having no idea what the item does, Marx wants to try to get it back, but with Rathalos this close to him, that's basically a lost cause. He nervously smiles at the huge beast, then quickly tries to turn tail and fly out of the danger area. He isn't super fast though, so Rathalos may see a chance to attack.

The spherical explosions of the super-fireballs end, leaving small patches of fire weak enough to stand in with only mild discomfort that self-extinguish after a few seconds. Thanks to Marx dropping the Pitfall, it hits the ground just in front of Rathalos, disappearing with some kind of visual 'sparking' effect.

Something goes awry with the cloaked woman's attack on Rathalos, as if two different kinds of physics are struggling for dominance. The result is that Rathalos receives an unusually deep gash from the blade and the cloaked woman is instantly healed for half the damage dealt to the Flying Wyvern, with no 'drain' effect.

Also, Rathalos did not like being hit by that Flare Blade. He takes flight again as if to spite Chrom, this time hovering a few meters over the battlefield instead of flying out of reach. He spits three regular fireballs that explode normally on impact with the first thing they hit (although, Rathalos' head being comparable in size to a fully-grown human body, they're still rather large) - one at Marx, one at Windblade, and one at the cloaked woman. He then makes a diving swipe with his talons at Viserys before rising back into the air. If the talons hit the Nord Dragonborn, he will be inflicted with a poison damage-over-time effect.

Looks like we have a third Dragonborn on the scene... Awkeff notes.

   "Thanks, Viserys. Hey, vampire lady! Watch this!"   

Awkeff flies up to meet Rathalos, then does a mighty sweeping horizontal slash with the Infinity Sword, releasing a gigantic crescent Sword Beam made of fire from its edge that will detonate with the force of a small nuclear explosion if it connects with the Flying Wyvern.

Chrom double-jumps up and goes for another Soaring Slash, again trying to hit Rathalos' wings.

Callis is blinded by Other!Trigo's Solar Flare, letting her get hit by Shiv!Trigo's Barrier of the Mind... whatever being hit by it actually does.

Windblade uses her blasts and missiles to deflect the fireball and jump up in the air. Lucina accompanies her, attempting to fire a Dolphin Slash once the smoke settle. In doing so, she does end up far in the air, twirling defenselessly in the sky...

However, she has an ally, in the form of Windblade, who draws her laser sword and slash at the beast's wings, doing so in an angle that allows Lucina to land on her arm. Not one to really let an opportunity pass, Lucina run down her body again and goes for a second downward strike at the wings.

Windblade, if she is not interrupted, grabs her and jet off before the nuke hit.

Marx gets hit by a fireball once again, this time ending up falling on the ground as a result of the explosion, some slight burns visible on him, and one little poff on his jester hat being set aflame.

Marx gets back up with a slight groan, and notices the damage to his hat, his ever-so-silly expression dropping for a pretty dark glare.

"You did NOT just do that!", he growls. Furious, he all but forgets about his little act for a moment, inhaling some air until his cheeks puff up, then holding his breath as he tries to look directly at Rathalos, almost as if trying to aim at him.

"Oh, perfect, our mystery vampire also knows how to wield the Thu'um. Awkeff and I will have to contend with this monstrous Dragonborn in the near future, won't we?"

Upon noticing that Rathalos was charging talons-first at him, Viserys brings Spellbreaker to bare just in time to defend himself from what would've been a catastrophically lethal slash, though the force behind the monster's attack manages to drive him back. Shaking his head, he wastes no time in flying after Rathalos before clearing his throat.

"Fo... Krah Diin!"

With that Shout, he unleashes a burst of Frost Breath at his wyvern-esque enemy.

The fireball connects with the vampire with a shimmer that indicates a plethora of resistance enchantments taking effect, but it's nevertheless obvious that she does not appreciate. As Awkeff fires her beam, she casts a greedy look at the Infinity Blade. Did her glowing yellow eyes turn green for just a moment there, or is it just a trick of the light?

She backs off from both the wyvern and Awkeff's own beam of fire and fires a blast of sickly green magic at the Rathalos. On hit, the blast will start draining Rathalos' speed and strength at a rapid rate, gradually reducing the power of its attacks and its mobility until the spell comes to an end.

Rathalos 'staggers' in midair, flailing his wings and legs so as not to lose balance and fall out of the sky from the attacks hitting him, and then the Sword Beam connects.

Fire and heat erupts in an expanding spherical explosion so massive it engulfs Rathalos himself in his entirety, obscuring the Flying Wyvern in its sun-like radiance.

   "... Now, Rathalos is resistant to fire, so we can't assume the best from -   - oh crap." Awkeff's Dragon Aspect runs out mid-sentence.

The smoke clears to reveal Rathalos swooping in from beyond the edges of the battlefield, ramming straight through the party's position from the side before circling around and sliding back onto the ground feet-first from the opposite direction. Thankfully, the vampire's spells seem to be having an effect, as he simply stands there panting with his wings drooping instead of making another physical attack. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop him from letting out another roar after a few seconds, though it has a smaller effective radius than the last.

Awkeff gets sent tumbling away by Rathalos' swooping charge, skidding along the ground to a halt but putting her out of range of the roar. "S-so... this is what a Rathalos can do when it's not being held back by other monsters of equal strength."

Chrom hits the ground after his Soaring Slash and immediately dodge-rolls away, evading Rathalos' ram attack... but he's caught off-guard by the sudden roar after Rathalos had appeared to be fatigued, and he is stunned from the ear-splitting intensity of the shockwave.

Winbdlade lances with Lucina and shield her from the Rathalos, being sent flying by the assault but landing on her feet. When Rathalos shouts, she leap in mid-air and fire a blaster, as a manner of shutting him up. Lucina, ever prudent, leaps in the air and slice at it once more !

Luckily out of range of the roar's stunning properties, Marx takes careful aim at Rathalos, and...

rip everyone who has ears

Marx, his face going all derpy for a moment◊, suddenly unleashes a huge laser from his mouth at Rathalos, one with enough force to send Marx himself sliding back from recoil.

Seeing as Marx shot the laser from his mouth, he had no way of warning his allies. They better have good speed and reflexes, or they might be in big trouble.

Taken aback at how Rathalos managed to survive Awkeff's supercharged Sword Beam, Viserys is caught off-guard and knocked aside like a ragdoll when the rampaging beast charges headlong into him.

"By the fucking Nine... Perhaps I ought to revisit my earlier idea of setting Odahviing and/or Durnehviir upon this royal pain in the ass..."

Eventually climbing back to his feet, the Nord Dovahkiin is thankfully out of range of his foe's piercing roar, giving him the opportunity to come up with an idea.

"Awkeff, do you remember how you combined your own Lightning Storm with mine to defeat the last monster Galeem threw at us? Let's see if it'll be enough to vanquish this bastard!"

He then proceeds to unleash a crackling Lightning Storm at Rathalos, regardless of whether or not Awkeff goes along with his suggestion.

Being at a long enough distance from Rathalos after having backed off, the vampire is not particularly threatened by the beast's charge. Ironically, it's Marx's laser that ends up grazing her, again triggering a small shower of magic sparks. Casting a murderous glare at Marx that indicates she will remember that, the cloaked woman starts unleashing a dual-cast barrage of electric orbs at Rathalos that would put some Touhou characters to shame.

Awkeff joins in on the lightning-spam fun with her own Lightning Storm - before cutting herself off to avoid Marx's blast.

Chrom, still stunned by Rathalos' roar, gets carried helplessly across the battlefield by Marx's face laser, leaving him clinging by one hand to the edge of a cliff by the time he recovers his senses.

Rathalos charges through the pain, trying to bite at Marx as revenge for the giant laser... and then he steps on where the Pitfall was before he gets there. Suddenly, a large hole in the ground opens up as Rathalos falls into it, burying the wyvern up to just below his wings. He flails around uselessly inside the pitfall trap.

"ATTACK!" Awkeff sheathes the Infinity Sword, pulls out a number of Daedric throwing knives, and starts hurling them at Rathalos in rapid succession.

Needing a moment to recover from using that blast, Marx would've been a sitting duck were it not for the Pitfall. Recognizing the spot as the spot where he'd dropped the item thanks to the ground being scorched, Marx realizes he succeeded in remaining helpful, and therefore an asset, which'll bring him one step closer to Galeem.

But that's thoughts for later. Right now, it's time to attack, and Marx flies near Rathalos and starts pelting him with exploding balls mercilessly.

"Heeheeheeheeheehee! How d'you like that?"

Windblade fires... but a whole hoard of plasma blasts arrives, courtesy of Optimus Prime, who's backed by a few of his giant robot soldiers. Arriving as cars, bikes or helicopters, they all transform and leap in mid-air, peppering the beast with firepower.

Ending a living being is contrary to my beliefs, but we must do so to save the others ! says a random autobot soldier, while Prime uses his mighty blaster to fire off strong shots.

Indeed ! Apologies for our delay, Windblade !

This is fine, Optimus Prime. retorts the autobot, not bothering to fire and holding unto her arm instead.

Lucina doesn't bother with attacking the Wyvern and dash to help up her father.

As Sapphire Starlight's armor is dispelled, Viserys wastes no time in bringing out his crossbow, taking careful aim, and firing a single bolt at Rathalos' head in the hopes of finishing it off. Afterwards, he breaths out a long, heavy sigh of relief.

"Finally..."

Then he casts a wary glance at the black-clad vampire, figuring that she might try attacking him and Awkeff now that their mutual foe had been vanquished.

Even though only part of the woman's face can be seen, the expression in her wicked glowing eyes leaves no doubt that behind her black mask right now is a Slasher Smile. She slowly approaches the struggling wyvern as a blizzard starts swirling around the palm of her left hand.

   "That was fun. But I'm getting a little tired of playing now. So please, will you just die for me already?"    She giggles darkly as she points her left palm at Rathalos.

The temperature in the air drops dramatically in the entire area as a tremendous howl shakes the ground. It's like the full wrath of Skyrim's harsh winter surges out of the vampire's outstretched palm, a roaring avalanche of ice that could put a Frost Dragon's breath to absolute shame - almost like a short-range Kamehameha of cold. It seems to have a way of chilling Rathalos to the very soul, and within seconds, all that should be left is a shattered icy statue.

Being hit by it actually shouldn't do much to Callis other than distracting her for a second; she's just too strong.

The Trigos all quickly assemble into a formation, two by two, and start charging up to use another set of Parallel Moves.

Callis just unloads an Evil Explosion at all of the Trigos.

Chrom takes Lucina's hand and struggles up over the ledge, lying there exhausted.

Rathalos cranes his neck to the sky and lets out one last mournful wail before slowly collapsing inside the Pitfall. His shallow grave was pre-dug before the execution. As if spiting the vampire one last time, his body explodes without a trace, leaving no icy statue to admire.

Rathalos' Spirit, contained within one of Galeem's orbs, now floats where his body had momentarily lain. Then the orb shatters, releasing the wyvern's Spirit. While it's now in an intangible state and no longer hostile, the fighters who haven't already dealt with Spirits (like Windblade and the vampire) seeing a full-sized ghost dragon standing over them may give them a brief moment of terror.

Galeem's already-extremely-weakened Beehive Barrier shatters like glass, dissolving into light.

The barrier surrounding Galeem has been destroyed.

Yes I retconned it. The Batter is still one of Galeem's bosses, but he's no longer an enforcer powering the barrier. Instead, he's a guardian - Galeem's true last line of defense after the barrier has fallen. The heroes (and Thanos) are not meant to know the Batter is still going to be an obstacle, even if they do know that the Batter is among Galeem's recruited bosses.

Rathalos closes his eyes and lets out a gentle rumble from somewhere in his spectral throat.

"Aw... now I almost feel bad for it." Awkeff sheathes her weapons. "Kaan... Drem Ov." She 'Shouts' Kyne's Peace in a quiet voice. She then approaches the wyvern's Spirit. "I dunno if you can understand what I'm saying even with this Shout, but... the abomination you served... once it's destroyed, I think you'll have your life back. We only had to kill you because you were powering his shield. Will you help us?" She uses gestures and extra emphasis in her tone of voice to try and help convey her point in case Rathalos can't understand the words.

She gives the others a pleading look as if to say, Back me up here!

"Damn it."

It looks like the next assault won't be quite as effective as it could have been, though it'll still be a hell of a maneuver. The two front Trigos take the brunt of the beam as they fumble to defend themselves in time, taking enough damage to be knocked out of solid form and resorbed into the two in the back.

The remaining Trigos double in strength, and activate their Parallel Move; a combination of the Four Witches (each Trigo sprouts two extra arms) and the Spirit Ball (for each of their arms, eight in total), which they proceed to flick to surround Callis before attempting to pummel her with the telekinetically moved ki blasts.

The vampire takes a step backwards, then gets into a ready stance, seemingly not really frightened as much as she is annoyed - she knows that in her world, ghosts can be destroyed just as easily as anything else. Still, before she can unleash another spell, she hears Awkeff start talking to it. Seemingly trying to convince the wyvern to join her side? Or, perhaps...

   "Or, you know, you could skip all that nonsense and join me instead, and together, we could revel in the sheer power of destruction we possess... as lions among sheep. Or perhaps my little demonstration earlier was not enough to convince you that being with me is better than being against me."
