Mara just looks at the Stranger in amusement, then laughs at Reyna's words.

   "Oh, you mean those poor things he basically kidnapped and fed so much power that they went mad from the pain? You want to kill them and cut them up? Oh, I think I like you already!"   , she mockingly says. She then looks at Nagato and Nicole and mockingly shrugs.

   "I'll see what the boss says. Nevertheless, there won't be a repeat of today."   

Hub then teleports in besides Mara as she grabs a hold of the cube, which has now stopped spinning and glowing.

   "Ooh, let's not forget about this."   , she mutters. She then gives everyone a somewhat taunting wink as Hub teleports himself, her and Missingno out.

Reyna mutters a curse. She recalls the Deoxys into the Ultra Ball and rides Galileo back to Sapphire Star Island.

Primordia - Northpoint Shore

" ...Aw, crap, should've known that might happen." Firuzeh chides herself as she watches Duncan recharge thanks to the reflected attacks, while the blasters charge up. She braces as Duncan charges, and the Barricade maneuvers to take the brunt of the Nova, smashed to oblivion. Though she's showing more signs of damage on her lower arms, she isn't thrown back, and the blasters release twin Shockwave-like blasts at close range.

"I will be very disappointed if it does not cease to exist."

Either way, she blitzes over to Achakura and Mister Green were trying to go.

"I will have a word with you two."

She then grabs them both by the neck and blitzes away.

Once Hub and co. have departed, Nicole decides to walk back to Sylvalum.

"If I get caught up in yet another borderline Arena-destroying battle soon, I'm gonna friggin' lose it..."

The three arrive back in the Assassin base, and Mara drops Missingno on the floor while grumbling.

   "That revival spell for that armored thing will never get done at this rate."   

Hub just takes off his helmet and massages his temples as he sits down on Cyber's desk.

   "So what's the verdict, Cyber? Can I kill him? He deserves nothing less after putting our plans in jeopardy twice. I put Springtrap down for less."   

Cyber ponders it over. He then darkly chuckles.

"Perhaps we can see to his demise while also getting some more use out of him before he expires."

Hub blinks while Mara, who'd been starting to talk to Bell, looks back at Cyber as well, intrigued.

   "How so?"   

Cyber clasps his hands.

"You'll see. Put him in a cage for now. Tomorrow... we make a deal with the enemy."

Primordia - Northpoint Shore

Before Duncan can recover fully from his attack, Firuzeh's blaster's fire and catch him right in the chest, reacting with the effect of Dark Channel still lingering over him and creates a large detonation, sending him flying once again and outright shattering his light armor and leaving him half naked again as he lands on the further end of the beach with a painful thud, face first. He lets out a pained groan and lifts his face from the sand, spitting out a mouthful of it with a disgusted look.

"...Uugh...fuckin' hell..." he says, shaking his head lightly as he slowly stands, swaying a little. "Protip...san...tastes like fucking sand..." he mutters as he recovers from being dazed. He balls his hands into tight fists, and he trains his glowing green gaze on Firuzeh, with another, more intense growl this time before he charges her again, using bursts of energy to augment his movement. He holds his arms out low, both of his arms flowing with corrosive energy and jumps, rotating his body and forming the energy into long, swiping blades of corrosive power, slashing at her with powerful, wide strikes as he descends. The blades won't physically cut, but will heavily corrode on contact, still making the attack dangerous.

Primordia - Northpoint Shore

Firuzeh smirks behind her helmet, having landed a solid blow against Duncan. She commands the blasters to flip, revealing more traditional gun barrels on their other side, which she augments with Disruptor Ammo. She shoots several quick volleys at Duncan as he charges, and prepares to leap back as he descends. She takes a couple blows past her barrier and to her armor, and a brief grunt can be heard along with faint sizzling. She then launches back, leaving a Stasis Mine in her place as Duncan lands.

Vague Primordia

The Tempered Deviljho stalks about. Its life is constantly seeping from its body, and for that reason on top of its Hyperactive Metabolism, its hunger is both insatiable and eternal.

It pauses to roar to the heavens. Despite its boundless rage, It Can Think. It knows that the denizens of this world - its food sources - are likely to show themselves if it announces its presence.

Primordia - Northpoint Shore

With his armor recharging still, Duncan uses his added mobility to avoid some of Firuzeh's Disruptor shots, a few of them still tearing into his bare skin and leaving bullet sized burn marks on his body across his arm and upper body. He isn't surprised as Firuzeh jumps back as he closes in, and spotting the Stasis Mine, he reacts with surprising quickness. He uses his momentum to turn himself into a diving/somersaulting motion and as he reaches the mine, projects a Hard Light dome over it to contain it and protect him from the effects, catching both hands on the top of the dome and using it to propel himself into a front flipping motion. He forms a giant hammer of light between his hands and uses the force from the flip to slam it into the ground, hard, sending cracks of green energy through the ground and towards Firuzeh, where they'll soon blow apart and erupt energy from the earth below her, attempting to engulf her.

"Whoa, that's a roar!"

Sie Kensou is walking down the road, Big Mac in hand, when he hears the Tempered Deviljho roar and starts on his way there.

Meanwhile, Azrael, The Mad Dog of Sector Seven was in Vauge Primordia and actually quite near to the beast. He walked up to it, arms stretched out at his sides.

"Hmm. This should make for a nice, hearty meal."

He pounds his fists together and rushes in, going just for some basic punches. However, he also does an axe handle about halfway through, which opens a "weak point" on the Tempered Deviljho about halfway up.

The Tempered Deviljho completely ignores the damage from the punches, opting to swing its massive head at Azrael and try to just bash him down.

The "weak point" in question would be its left thigh, for now. Much like when a Thorn Pod is shot at it from a Slinger, hitting it there will temporarily deal extra damage. Because this is what happens when you mix the physics of Monster Hunter and BlazBlue.

"Nice." Firuzeh says as she watches Duncan contain the Stasis Mine, genuinely impressed by the maneuver. She propels herself into the air with a kinetic wave in order to dodge Duncan's erupting blast. Still in the air, her guns shoot more electric suppressing fire in Duncan's general direction, while her body starts to glow and she forms a trio of kinetic orbs orbiting around her.

Primordia - Northpoint Shore

Duncan grins, dispelling his hammer and gathering energy in his palm. "Looks like those gymnastics classes are payin' off, eh?" he says, proud of his athletic feat. He stays on his toes, rolling and dodging out of the way of her gunfire, again only taking glancing blows from them.

Taking the now massive sphere in his palm, he breaks it down into 15 smaller projectiles and encases them in prisms of Hard Light, creating his version of mines, before scattering them about in the air around Firuzeh, trapping her in a makeshift minefield. He makes a Finger Gun with his hand and fires a blast at one of the mines, shattering its prism and making it violently explode, which in turn starts a chain reaction of explosions in the air around Firuzeh.

Azrael catches the head with both hands, slightly struggling and eventually pushing it back up... right into Kensou's line of fire, as he kicks both of his feet right into the "weak point", using the kick to push off Tempered Jho and on to his feet.

"This guy is huge!"

"Who the hell are you, kid?"

"Just call me Kensou."

Primordia - Northpoint Shore

Seeing the mines forming around her, Firuzeh attempts to propel herself away, but Duncan detonates them before she can do so. Repurposing the orbs into shields, she braces as the explosions cover the area in dust. From the cloud, a ghostly, human-sized apparition jets out, attempting to dash & pass through Duncan back and forth and inflict an unstable energy effect reminiscent of Warp. Meanwhile, Firuzeh herself falls back down after a moment, having large portions of her armor shattered from the buildup of corrosion, revealing burnt clothing and skin underneath.

Having its weak point struck like that is enough to make the Tempered Deviljho stagger to the side, but it immediately leaps at the newcomer in an attempt to slam its full body weight into him.

Dedede is riding through Noctilum towards Primordia on his Wheelie Bike, back to using his good ol' standard-issue robes and hammer.

He will arrive at the scene of the Deviljho fight in two posts.

"Choyuudan!"

Kensou shoots a yellow energy ball right for the head as Azrael goes in for a Gustav Buster to the side of the Tempered Jho, a short step followed by a powerful right hook.

And then it happens.

"HAMMAH TO THE HEAD, YEAH!"

Gary jumps in out of seemingly nowhere as the Gary Hammer is swung towards the head of the Tempered Jho. If it hits, it would be a meaty hit to the right side of the head.

Tempered Jho is hit by the other stuff, because it's a huge target, but it takes the sudden Gary attack to actually make it flinch again.

With all these new enemies, there's only one course of action - scorch the area with its dragonbreath in a wide area, trying to hit everyone and possibly inflict them with Dragonblight, which will neutralize any elemental attacks.

Gary is hit by the breath at first, but he waddles his little... flippers? as fast as he can and escapes most of the damage. He pulls out an SMG and sprays at the Jho's side.

Kensou barely manages to outrun the fire, to the point where his shoes are a bit scorched. He shoots out another Choyuudan.

Azrael, however, just kind of works through the fire. He's damaged by it, but he manages to at least do an aerial roundhouse, which would apply another weak point if it hit.

Primordia - Northpoint Shore

Duncan makes to leap up into the could to continue the assault, but the Warp projection is faster and dashes right through him, making him gasp slightly as he feels its energy wrack his body, shooting pain through his chest and causing him to stagger. "Shoulda figured that was too easy..." he manages through gritted teeth.

Feeling his body having been weakened, he finally resummons his armor for extra support. He watches as the real Firuzeh finally lands and he advances on her with an energy-charged fist, a bit slower, and summons a wall of Hard Light behind her, trying to pull her towards him at the same time to try and strike her.

Somehow, the SMG and Choyuudan manage to miss the Jho due to the way it's moving about. However, the weak point ends up placed on the Deviljho's chin... an easy target, as long as you can sneak in an attack during its brief moments of standing still.

Luckily, Dedede arrives. He dismounts from the Wheelie Bike, letting it keep going at top-speed into the Deviljho's legs, knocking the monster's feet out from under it... leaving its new weak point wide open.

"Hey, it's the King!"

"The What?"

Gary runs up and attempts to plant the Gary Hammer on to the Jho's chin, vaulting over it to Dedede if successful.

Kensou runs up and attempts a flying kick right to the nose of the Jho.

Azrael would attempt to stomp on the Jho around its stomach area, which would apply another weak point.

The Jho has been knocked on its side by the Wheelie, so all those hits are pretty easy to land.

Dedede raises his hammer into the air. "Hail and well met, Gary!" He promptly brings his hammer in an overhead arc and slams it down on Jho's tail.

And a timefreeze here, for DefRevenge's sake.

Sapphire Star Isle

Megan shielded her eyes from the blinding flash of light. Iraaxos registered the light but chose to think nothing of it.

"Hmm... I'll have to keep this sample for later... and that effect," mumbled Megan, re-sealing the sample and grabbing hell of a lot more streamstones.

Iraaxos broke off a few chunks himself, storing them within the depths of his robes. To whence they vanished, only he knew. He switched from spell preparation, and took out his sword and dagger for the first time since he had taken this form. He sharpened them and reinforced the edge with a touch of magic, before returning them both to their sheathes.

Megan looked up as Reyna arrived back on the Isle. "Oh hey. How did that thing go? We've just been here prepping while we waited for you and Oca."

From right the fuck out of nowhere, all the fighters and the Jho suddenly hear the following bellowed out from a distance away.

"SO, WE MEET AGAIN, OLD FOE! HAVE AT THEE!"

Bahamut promptly charged in at a respectable velocity, platinum armor shining like the full radiance of the moon, sword and shield both stowed away. Yelling with a courageous battle-cry, he ran up to the Jho and attempted to punch it squarely in the lower jaw as hard as he fucking could.
