I'd thought it was just Orlando and Japan, so I'm glad to hear it's in my neck of the woods, too. Hollywood is a bit of a drive from where I am, but I know some friends that might be up for a road trip...
I might actually have to convince my family to visit Universal Studios just for the Nintendo area now...
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."The ad's all Mario. Hopefully that doesn't reflect the actual park.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Well there is talk about a Mario Kart (Double Dash) ride and a DK Country mine cart ride.
I legit enjoy how terribly photoshopped in all the people and Mario characters are in that promo image, it's hilarious to me, they just kinda threw them all wherever.
Apparently it's supposed to be opening “in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics,” (imagine the hell of that opening day, I feel bad for the poor souls who'll have to work there then) so I wonder if there's gonna be any Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games tie-ins in the park.
It'd be nice if they have coin blocks hovering all around the park so that you can get a refund on the entry fee.
Evangelion the Real is just the place for parents to drop off their kids for years.
Eh, with these kinds of architectural concept pics, they usually photoshop in pictures of people on renders. It never looks realistic.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectSeems Universal Orlando may be next in the Super Nintendo World announcement line. Rumors on WDWinfo seemingly indicate that the KidZone area at Universal Studios Florida (which has barely changed since it opened in 1998/99) is being completely demolished (save for ET).

I hope they keep the Nuthouse Coaster, though. If they could re-theme it to a lesser-known Mario character it would be nice. They did the same for the Flight of the Hippogriff (Flying Unicorn) at Islands of Adventure.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."So based on info from the Neo GAF thread, expect
- Mario Kart coaster ish thing with drifting (they've filed a patent for a simulated drift mechanism)
- Donkey Kong Country minecart coaster
- Spider-Man Yoshi edition
Seems all the stuff is Mario based, which works for what I presume is supposed to be a single area, I guess. As far as Orlando is concerned, its either going to replace the Studios Kids Zone or the Jay Ward area of Islands because those are the two areas that have like, I dunno, the most apathy from most audiences.
Honestly after they built a Sponge Bob gift shop in the Studios Kids Zone I was expecting them to retheme that whole area to Sponge Bob and build "Spider-Man Sponge Bob edition" so they could have a ride that exits into said gift shop.
Oof, this thread got real old, real fast. But we had rumblings going on about the Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando. Namely:
- Universal is building a new theme park temporarily called Universal's Fantastic Worlds.
- Fantastic Worlds is being described as a hub with spokes, which is more in line with how Disney structures their theme parks.
- And one of those spokes will be the Nintendo world.
Keep in mind, these are rumors, so as always, take them with a grain of salt.

Universal Studios SIngapore will be getting a Super Nintendo World.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Updates on Super Nintendo World in Orlando when???
Universal Orlando to make a major announcement at a press conference next Thursday.
Judging by the location (Orlando Convention Center, just outside the newly-acquired land Universal bought several years ago), it seems that we'll finally get the announcement of the long-awaited "fourth gate," and, with it, Super Nintendo World Orlando.
"The devil's got all the good gear. What's God got? The Inspiral Carpets and nuns. Fuck that." - Liam GallagherBump.
Announcing Universal's Epic Universe!
Still no word about the Super Nintendo World (sorry), but I wouldn't be surprised if the section of Universal Studios that used to be the KidZone will be like an appetizer-sized Nintendo world while Epic Universe will have a main course-sized Nintendo world.
...am I the only one who sees an Inferred Holocaust at 1:30?
Well, sounds like we have a lot of time to kill.
Any mock ups or ride concepts?
Looks like the Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan will have real-life spinning coins!
TL;DR: Miyamoto and a guy from Universal's theme parks are gushing about how Nintendo will be coming to Universal Parks.
And the Nintendo experience will also be in Universal Orlando and Hollywood, not just Japan.
