A couple of Tomb Kings LPs from a couple of Total War YouTubers who got Early Access to the Rise of The Tomb Kings DLC:
That's what heralds are for.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Due to a windows update I don't have the memory for the update or even to install TWW 2.
So Spooky Sandy Skeletons will have to wait until I can get an external hard drive.
x3 Good Lord, man! Can both sides of a business card fit all that? (In the finest, but still legible print?)
Actually read the whole thing—and probably mangled some pronunciations along the way—before losing it at "Slayer of Redditras." (Is that an intentional Shout-Out or just some excellent photoshopping done by the Redditor?)
Also, is it safe to say that Rise of The Tomb Kings does to Total War: Warhammer II what Dark Crusade previously did for Dawn of War? (a.k.a.: Make an already great game even better. Also, that the expansion/DLC for a game based on a Games Workshop property and published by Sega has something to do with spooky scary skeletons.)
"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."I'm told the Redditas is put in by CA themselves.
I imagine it as a many-headed beast like a Hydra.
Free Skaven Lord DLC.
Obligatory yes-yes

Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)Needs a version where Settra's sand-boarding/surfing with a Space Marine Dreadnought.
"Even in undeath, I still surf."
Also, if Yrridian focuses on Attila meme videos and Mr. Piruja focuses on Rome II meme videos, then who does the Total War: Warhammer meme videos?

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."It's still an open frontier, vast and waiting for an enterprising memer to build their empire.
Question: Does Total War: Warhammer have naval battles, or are those reduced to autoresolve battles?
Also, (from watching the various Tomb Kings let's plays) I couldn't help but notice how there's so much quality-of-life gameplay improvements when compared to Rome II.
- You can see where enemy and allied reinforcements are coming from on the battlefield.
- Unit banners indicate the location of routing units. (This was also in Rome: Total War.)
- Wider, more detailed "Unit Exchange" windows.
- You can command units to go up a specific ladder or siege tower in sieges.
- Dilemmas show the results of each choice, allowing the player to make informed decisions.
Probably missed a few, but those are the ones that got my attention after playing Rome II and wishing those same quality-of-life mechanics were in there as well.
"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."Naval battles are auto-resolve only.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Considering how manual naval battles are still a mess in Rome II, perhaps that simplification was for the best (along with sieges).
Also, do you still have to deal with internal politics within your faction in both TW: Warhammer games, or is it more straightforward in focusing on territorial management, diplomacy, and war?

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."Honestly, I didn't dislike naval battles in Rome 2 - though what I absolutely loved to do was using navies in siege battles.
Remember playing a co-op campaign with a friend where he assaulted a city from land and I bombarded it from the sea before moving reinforcements into their harbour.
I think I just like having control over navies in general instead of having to rely on auto-resolves.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. There are no internal politics in Warhammer, no. You’re called upon to make decisions, but they just have an effect on your faction rather than any internal politics.
Like the Dwarfs' choices to settle the Grudge, or to settle the Grudge.
Or the choice between the cunning brutality of Gork (+4 Fightiness) and the brutal cunning of Mork (+4 Fightiness).
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)I thought that was 4 over 5 turns or 5 over 4 turns?
So, what's the general consensus on Mortal Empires now?
Ok I found who I was looking for IncognitoNinja, I'm pretty sure Erik the Red is the Total Warhammer memer you seek.

Huh, the animation reminds me of If the Emperor Had a Text-to-Speech Device. Nice find.
Also...
Man, I wish there's a video of a chariot battle between Settra and Surtha Ek.
"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."
I know. But at the same time for some reason even though I killed the Red Duke there were still undead around.
