Speaking of Olivia, what if she returned with her own version of the Sinister Six? Or better yet, an all-female version of the Six? Besides Addy as Venom, the roster could consist of Francine Frye/Electro 2, Keemia Marko/Sandgirl, Elaine Coll/Scorpia, Kraven the Hunter's daughter Ana, and Olivia as leader.
Or they could create new characters like how they handled this Doc Ock.
"I am the lord of Purity, who tolerates no deviation." My first online storyLooking at Nick Spencer’s lineup that he put together for the Sinister Syndicate arc, other potential, less well known members could be the White Rabbit and the new Trapster (aka Trapstr.)

*slowly raises hand* I do.
Look, I know the Clone Saga is controversial (and for good reason), but Ben Reilly and Kaine Parker are pretty great characters that I would love to see interact with Miles.
Like I said, my biggest focus is less what I want to see for Spiderverse and more of what these new characters would mean for Miles Morales.

There are probably a lot of easy ways to cut a lot of fat out of it and make it make more sense, honestly. Never letting it end was as much of a problem as it could be.
Wake me up at your own risk.Hell the Ultimate version of the story was pretty well-received I recall.
Plus it be dope to bring in Kaine and have him scream at Peter or someone for being an idiot.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Sure, but most of that complexity comes from having to be the protagonist of his own series.
From the perspective of looking for a "Bad Guy Spider-Man" to bring into the movie, selecting a character that is evil because he's actually an evil bad guy who is only Freaky Friday body-swapping a Spider-Man rather than a genuinely evil Spider-Man would be a pretty cheap way to go.
If we're just looking for bad guys who have a spider aesthetic, the number of options opens up dramatically.
EDIT: Seconding that Ben Reilly and Kaine are awesome characters who deserve some adaptational attention.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.That’s obviously not gonna happen, but it would be nice. I like all of the Spider-Man characters and I’m a fan of the Spiderverse set up, but Miles deserves to have more than that on the big screen.
Agreed, yeah.
The whole multiverse aspect has definitely got clickbait sites jacking off rumors of actors reprising their roles in MCU!Spidey's third solo outing and it's left me with the same thought I have there that I have with this movie's sequel: I don't want these movies getting indulgent and fanservice-y with interdimensional characters or Role Reprisal s, I just want good character work and development with the core cast. So yeah, I also agree.

Self-serious autistic metalhead who goes by any pronouns. (avvie template source)Personally, I'm more interested in how they approach Miles' supporting cast and his rogues gallery. The current comics have focused on fleshing them both out, like introducing a few new villains as well as the faculty at Brooklyn Visions and a baby sister for Miles.

x7 Peter B walks in, hears the word “Clone” and immediately walks out, trying to drag Miles with him.
“Word of advice, kids. Never get mixed up with clones. It’s always going to end with you thinking you’re the clone, having a existential crisis, fighting evil clones of yourself, and then find out that you were the real one all along!” (Other Spiders just kinda stare, because, wow, that was weirdly specific.)

I actually kinda made myself want to see this now, just for Peter B’s reaction to clones.
Seriously though, if they do go this route, Peter B needs to be absolutely horrified at the prospect of clones. It fits with his character as the “seen it all Spider-Man”, and would be a fun little in-joke for longtime comic readers.

Spot is the rumored villain of the sequel[1]
That actually would be interesting to revisit. A world where the Scarlet Spider has to content with a insane Peter Parker that wound up involved with not only the Carnage Symbiote but maybe Knull as well.
Spot? interesting...
Now thats a Darkhorse choice, if true I am very interested in how he'll be.
I like how Knull now provides a bit of an epic endpoint to Symbiote invasion stories through a clear leading figure. Even the recent Spider-Man cartoon implemented him in the Klyntar's backstory through a short detailing how he created the Symbiote sisters.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I imagine Spot might simply be just a very easy choice in hindsight for a story about multiverses (Spot technically being a guy who opens wormholes between dimensions, though usually not between parallel universes as I'm sure he'll do here).
"All you Fascists bound to lose."So, which Spider is gonna end up punching themselves in the face?
Wake me up at your own risk.I always thought Spot would be fun to fight in a video game.
I'm digging the choice, but also a bit sad Doc Ock won't take the spotlight as the main villain.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Spot could work, but would need some work.
The name is very silly, but Spider-Verse is silly enough that they could just have him use that name, and then have somebody make fun of him for using it.
I agree, giving him multiverse holes would make him a pretty easy choice. As before, the presence of multiple Spider-people means he'd probably have to recruit some allies.
Spot himself might not do it, someone might just hijack his tech.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Daredevil had Coyote, who stole Spot's tech/powers and was legit creepy as all get out...
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."I'd be cool with that. Coyote was cool. I could even see them revamping Spot with elements from Coyote.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I just found this hilarious image of Spider-Verse Kingpin's anatomy.
The Protomen enhanced my life....That is pretty blursed.
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person.
Superior Spider-Man confronting Olivia might be interesting to see.
