Ha, that showed up in my recommendations yesterday. Love me some spider-memes.
Another ridiculous detail you'd only catch by freeze-framing and zooming in - Doc Ock's computer desktop is filled with little things in the file and folder names. A lot of them are repeated over and over, but I noticed "ock_notes", "old_plans", "secret_plans", "files_for_evil", "doomsday", "cute_animals", "fantasy_league", "best_sandwiches", "ugh...filesnames", and "new bike wheels.jpeg"
EDIT: Oh man, and another one - during the report on Spider-Man's death, the news ticker has "Bitcoin hits new high!" immediately followed by "Bitcoin hits new low!"
DOUBLEDIT: I was trowling the movie for screengrabs for the character page and snapped this gem that will soon be my profile pic:

So, the folks over at Sony Pictures Imageworks (the guys responsible for animating the film) just updated their website in the wake of Into the Spider-Verse's Oscar win:

Spider-Man is Sony's Flagship Franchise so not surprising.
They also posted a PDF document listing every single Imageworks employee that worked on the film.
Inquiring lesbians want to know: are Aunt May and Liv gay? We have the answer, straight from director Ramsey's mouth.

The answer is Shrug of God, for the record.
So I recently saw an interview with Daniel Radcliffe where he mentioned being a Spider-Man fan, and now all I can think about is how great it would be if the sequel brought him in as Billy Braddock / Spider-UK.
It would be fitting since Harry Potter is basically Peter Parker...if he was rich, owned slaves, and was a wizard.
Did Harry ever own Kreacher?
Where there's life, there's hope.I think he technically inherited him from Sirius along with the house? I don't recall the Potter family themselves ever owning house elves.

He owned a house-slave at the end, so he's a slaveowner. 1 slave may not be plural but its one too many.
Anyway, Harry Potter is the teen hero of the 21st Century so I suppose getting Radcliffe to play a Spider-UK would be fine.
> He owned a house-slave at the end, so he's a slaveowner. 1 slave may not be plural but its one too many.
No he's not,Harry doesn't willingly come to possess him,he probably frees him later or something
New theme music also a boxOh man, I love the director's response to LivMay, which is basically "Maybe, but also there is definitely a universe where that happened."
Also, one of my favorite scenes is on YouTube now:

IIRC, one of the last things Harry thinks in the last book (before the epilogue) is hoping Kreacher will bring him a sandwich, indicating that for the moment he's at least grown okay with the idea of having Kreacher as a servant.
In the book reality it is established that House elves are NOT happy if they get freed (other than Dobby, naturally). Kreacher wouldn't be able to deal with Harry giving him clothes. So I doubt that Harry would free him unless Kreacher would suddenly ask for it. But he would treat him with compassion.
That's enough Harry Potter.
Where there's life, there's hope.OK then
I didn't get a chance to see this film but I'm early going to buy when it's available in my region
New theme music also a boxA lot of HD clips have been uploaded to Youtube by this point. Including the entire first 9 minutes.
As if you needed another reason to love this movie, Into the Spider-Verse now has video game maker and movie buff Hideo Kojima's seal of approval!
Say what you will about Kojima, but the man really does have good taste in movies.
"Live-action". I assume he's putting that in a list of all the things this movie is inspired by, not that it actually contains live-action.
I thought we already had the answer to the Liv May question? https://twitter.com/MLeeLunsford/status/1084990686892453888
