You think they'll make a live-action Frozen down the line? It feels like there was a lot they wanted to do for the films but couldn't due to time constraints, so live-action might work on fleshing stuff out. (On the other hand the Broadway version tried and IIRC it didn't do so well.)
The Protomen enhanced my life.I mean, their means aren't what I was comparing them with.
Yes, absolutely. I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason they haven't already is because they didn't want a movie to interfere with the buzz of first the Broadway show, and then the sequel.
Once the animated and such projects of Frozen die down, keep an eye on the live action medium.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. They already did a live-action adaptation of Frozen in ABC's Once Upon A Time.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationOTOH there'll probably be a live action Tangled first.
I feel like the live-action movies for the 2010s movies, and The Princess and the Frog, won't be made at least until the 2030s, as I think Disney would want them to age quite a bit until they are sure they can hit the nostalgia buttons for people who were growing up when the movies came out. I mean Frozen 2 only came out less than a year ago (though now it feels like that was years ago).
I wasn't expecting them to remake Beauty and the Beast because it seemed too recent, but they did so I have even less doubts that they'll remake Frozen as well.
I wouldn't mind a Tangled remake. It's exactly the kind of story I don't mind seeing new versions of: a classic, very old folktale with a lot of cultural resonance that transcends a single adaptation.
I tend to check out of the remakes of largely original stories from Disney, like the Lion King (which is inspired by Hamlet but it mostly different from it), but the remakes of classic folktales and stories usually get my attention.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Live action Princess and the Frog when?
New theme music also a boxSurely they'll realize how slightly eyebrow raising the "Good ol' white patrician" is this time.
LOL Disney poorly fakes it with the female empowerment.
They don't even bother pretending to racially empower.
So, I didn't know this was a thing:
There's a Hocus Pocus Reunion Publicity Event coming up this month. I'm not quite sure what it's going to be, but it looks like something of a variety show with Elvira and a bunch of celebrities. The Witches as their original actresses (including Bette Midler) and Billy the Zombie will be there in character.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. How much you wanna bet the toilet character from the B&TB remake spent the rest of his life hunting down fairies and the like? Considering the Enchantress turned him into a living toilet I don't think anyone would hold it against him. XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.I think he'd hold a grudge against the prince in the first place since the transformation was his fault!
New theme music also a boxI never did get why the Enchantress turned all the servants into household objects. It's entirely possible they were just trying to make a living, it's not their fault they ended up with a jerkass for an employer.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrIn the original animated film it was implied that it was typical Fae mischief.
In the Live Action it was because she wanted to punish the STAFF for not stopping the KING from raising his son to be a horrid person.
Yeah...my brain broke at that too
Yeah, the fairy tale concept of fairies are asshole seem to be a more logical explanation compare to the whatever the movie came up with. Kinda ironic that they was trying to fix the plot holes in a fairy tale but end up created bigger plot holes.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieCouldn't just say she was pissed and used the wrong spell and by the time she realized it taking that back wasn't possible or something?

Wake me up at your own risk. The Enchanted Christmas had it take place on Christmas Eve, thus the Beast hated the holiday. XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.Doing so won't make the Enchantress look any better since it beg the question what she been doing all these years instead of trying to fix her mistake, then we have to dedicate another subplot or contrive another reason to explain that.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieAccording to the A Twisted Tale series she was captured by Monsieur D'Arc, the asylum owner, for being a magical being.
The Protomen enhanced my life. How many times have you heard of someone loudly and angrily berating a low-level service worker over store policies they clearly had no say in? It's pretty easy to imagine that same sort of irrational blame game befalling the castle's staff.
I just found and read a really good fanfic about the 2017 B&TB, where the Prince uses the magic book to pull a Peggy Sue and things go increasingly wrong, especially when he kills the Enchantress and loses the book as a result.

The Protomen enhanced my life.So....as someone who hasn't watched any of these live action remakes, what's the overall opinion on them?
I know Mulan pulled some really dumb shit that made it controversial, but what about the others?
One Strip! One Strip!Jungle Book is well-liked, Pete's Dragon exists, and the Maleficent movies have their fans. Otherwise it's basically negative across the board.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.
I think Gaston and Cruella are pretty distinct. Gaston's an asshole jock that refuses to take no for an answer while Cruella's a mustache-twirling Card-Carrying Villain with a poacher gimmick.
