They mention the reports of the Switch Pro using OLED, not that the Switch Pro is using OLED.
Whoever Nintendo is getting the OLED from for the Switch Pro, they likely can't say anything concrete because they are under NDA.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Is the Switch Pro still a rumor or has it been confirmed?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Still a rumor.
SoundCloudAt this point, if it's not a thing, it's the most comically elaborate and pointless hoax in history.

Trans rights are human rights.Did I miss any I Ps that don't have an installment on the Switch other than a port? I listed DK, Pikmin, and 2D Mario.
Star Fox doesn't have anything yet, but maybe Zero killed it off.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!F-Zero. Kid Icarus. Yoshi. Nintendo has tons of IP.
Yoshi did have a Switch game though.
I'm not so convinced... It may have gotten a lot of complaints because It's the Same, Now It Sucks!, but there's no way it wasn't still majorly profitable. The saminess of the NSMB series should allow them to make the games very cheaply and quickly. And Mario Maker doesn't really allow the same things, even with world maker. Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist, but I think Nintendo intentionally limits Mario Maker to ensure it can't quite do everything a new Mario game can, even before considering newly developed assets. And NSMBU deluxe was only a port, so like Mario Kart the Switch hasn't actually had an original game from the series yet.
It's not necessarily likely, but I definitely wouldn't call it impossible. The main factor is how long they stick with the Switch.
I missed the part where that's my problem. It didn't really "kill" it, because the Switch version sold very well. They just don't have plans for a new 2D installment yet.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300With 2d mario I think Nintendo is doing a absence makes the heart fonder. The longer they wait to release one the more everyone will want it.

Bare in mind the same production group that primarily makes 2D Marios (EPD 10) is also the same team that does Pikmin, so Pikmin 3 Deluxe probably was their focus for the most part after Mario Maker 2. Obviously teams don't necessarily only focus on one product but that's probably the main reason why you haven't seen more of them, their focus was on Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
Welp, I think one of my joycons just stopped working entirely. I wasn't noticing drift or anything before hand, but I don't pay much attention to that kind of thing.
Huh. Didn't expect this one; Disney is having Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol rereleased for the Switch.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownOh I totally forgot everything Lucas is under Disney now. I still got my old cartridge of Zombies Ate my Neighbors. Never beat it. I hope they bring back the Super Star Wars games, those were kinda fun.

Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Should I get a Switch Pro Controller, or the 3rd party one from Power A?
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.I don't know the specific one you're referring to, but third party ones are generally more cost-effective.
SoundCloudI'm talking in terms of the bloody controller drift.
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness. That's really not a concern for anything except joy-cons.
SoundCloudI mean I'd pick the official controller over a cheaper third party in all cases.
But YMMV based on what you're willing/able to spend.
EDIT: Also here in Australia I've seen the Pro Controller cheaper than the Power A one a fair few times because AFAIK it goes on sale here more often.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobIf money isn't a concern, that go for the official ones, but money very frequently is a concern.
I'm quite happy with my 8BitDo SN 30 Pro+ myself.
I admit that I am kind of tempted to get 8bitdo's Lite or Zero 2, mostly for the funny factor. But then I feel the phantom cramps in my hand. I don't have giant hands, but I already put grips on my Switch because the joycons are too flat.
I haven't bought a pro controller mostly because I play the thing as a handheld, though like I posted earlier, one of mine just stopped working entirely for reasons beyond me. I wasn't experiencing any problems with it before hand that I noticed. Luckily I have a second set and just subbed in the other one.
The SN 30 Pro's a solid pick if you want to play games where the D-Pad gets more focus (such as Shovel Knight). I used it in that case more than my official pro controllers.

I have the 8Bitdo SN 30 Pro+ and it's not bad. The analog sticks on mine feel like they're less sensitive than my xbox one controller's in a way I don't like, and the firmware was very annoying to deal with in the sense it messed up the analog recognition period (it was registering them as moving even when they were perfectly still) and i had to downgrade my firmware to fix it.
I don't know if this is just the problem with my own controller. I was very busy at the time and haven't bothered to try and order a replacement because even just getting one already was a hassle where I live. Barring all that though the build quality is definitely nice and it has been perfectly usable regardless.
The Switch Pro and it using OLED was mentioned in Universal Display Corp's Q1 investors call.
I'm pretty sure lying during those is super illegal. So that's more evidence for the pile.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
