Hah, and they said it would take forever for SMT to come to Switch.
They were probably talking about the more recent SMT titles. Hell, they might have been talking about SMT in general for English speakers.
I know, its just amusing in somewhat disappointing way that even the SNES version of SMT 1 ended up on Switch before the SMTV title announced three and half years ago.
Donkey Kong Country is so hype that Nintendo made a video just about it. Enjoy some cheat codes
Thought they would do a bundle release and include DKC 2 and 3.
Its weird that the SNES mini got DKC instead of 2 while FF got FFVI. If it was based on popularity, DKC 2 would be the pick. If it was numeric order, then it should have been FFIV.
-Witty line-Is this the first time an old-school Donkey Kong Country game has been released since the Nintendo 64?
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy. As mentioned, DKC was on the SNES Classic, if that's what you mean.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢It's been on the Virtual Console too.
They should make a Nintendo Badge Arcade sequel and put it on the Switch. It could use the customizability options.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢There was a time that the DKC games were removed from either the Wii or Wii U Virtual console.
Apparently adding DKC to the Switch was enough to get it trending on gaming Twitter. Hopefully Nintendo doesn't drop the ball with the series again like in the 2000s.
-Witty line-They were removed from the Wii for an unknown reason.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! The first two Shantae games are coming to the Switch as well.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Getting 101% in DKC, haha.
Bonus room inside a bonus room.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Im happy that I’ll have a method to play Risky’s Revenge as I don’t have a DSI.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I still can't believe that that was a legitimate thing. How was anyone suppose to figure that out? Its like a glitch.
-Witty line-The same way you were supposed to figure out about that one DK Coin in the bonus room in Donkey Kong Country 2 that was the only one like that in the whole game.
Our current generation game system, Nintendo Switch, has entered its fourth year since launch, but its momentum is increasing. We believe there are two factors behind this. First is the existence of two hardware configurations with different characteristics, in Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. The second factor is that Nintendo's development resources are concentrated on developing content for a single platform, Nintendo Switch. We want to extend the life cycle of Nintendo Switch while maximizing such advantages.
Ko Shiota (Director, Senior Executive Officer):
In addition to the performance aspects (higher technical specifications), Nintendo's dedicated video game platforms are developed with a focus on providing a comfortable environment for consumers to play fun software. From the perspective of playing with the image displayed on a TV, we believe that because consumers can play Nintendo Switchon a TV or the game console screen itself, it has greatly increased the opportunities for gameplay in various scenes in their lives, compared to previous consoles. Through Nintendo Switch, we've made many discoveries about where a dedicated video game platform can fit into a consumer's daily life. We see scenes on social media of children and their families sitting around a game console to play, which gives us a renewedsense of the value of our dedicated video game platform. We will utilize these experiences in carefully considering the form our future game consoles will take.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Makes sense. No reason to move on from the Switch when it's still on fire.
I expect the Switch 2 will have analogue triggers.
Other than that, maybe some sort of dual screen technology? Like the Switch 2 might have a DS form factor, and also have some circuitry in the dock that allows an image to be streamed from the console to the TV for a Wii U type arrangement.
Ukrainian Red CrossIf they can make that affordable. I think that's why they didn't have a Wii U style dock in the first place.
I missed the part where that's my problem.Treehouse stream soon with Paper Mario: The Origami King info and Wayforward's new game (which isn't a Nintendo IP)

I'm not sure why no-one posted this yesterday, but:
I was underwhelmed by it. It's telling that, while still not that great, the Japanese version was a lot better with the presentation of those JRPGs, contrasting the focus on that WWE game in the overseas version. It made me realize how untimely and counterproductive the American Kirby Is Hardcore trope can be sometimes (doubly so for those like me who don't like WWE at all).
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I hate wrestling, so I was completely uninterested in that game they showed.
But I guess they figured "Americans don't like JRP Gs". Even though that is completely false.

And on the JP side Shin Megami Tensei 1.
