Disney+ possibly coming to Switch.

The logo for the VR Case Files version of LA Noire has popped up on Nintendo Portugal's website.

And this has me wondering: why the hell isn't Netflix on Switch yet?

That looks like it was GIMPed after the fact.

Not sure about the internet browser, but Netflix has been pretty aggressive with their licensing and the like in general, so maybe Nintendo isn't willing to meet their demands. Or vice versa, I suppose.

You mean the very same people that already hacked the Switch? Color me surprised.

I mean there already is a web browser. It's just that Nintendo has hidden it so that it's unavailable under normal circumstances. So it's less that they need to add one and more that they need to make the one that's already built in useable/accessible. Not that I see that as likely though because it'd probably piss people off if you were required to buy their online service to use the built in browser.

Nintendo will add an internet Bowser at some point

The browser thing would have annoyed me back in the days were computers were almost the only way to go online, but using any smart device is probably better than anything nintendo could put on the switch nowadays.

Going back to the joycon issue... that's a serious annoyance about an otherwise amazing system. Considering we know that's the issue now, what can i do about my defective controller? I was gifted my switch so have no receipts, anybody know is there anyway to go about getting the joycon repaired/ replaced?

You can also do a wrap around on the menu if you reach the end and keep going in that direction.

Does it let you pin stuff in an order you want, or just sort by different criteria like A-Z?

It's just automatic sorting via:

• Last Time Played (which was the default, and still is on the HOME menu proper)
• Total Play Time
• Alphabetical
• By Publisher (and it'll actually include the publisher of the game in the game's name tag when the cursor is on one in the "All Software view")

Aww, that's annoying. I want the ability to pin them to the menu, so I can have the 6-7 games I own at the start, and push the demos and other junk off the end.

Yeah I don't get why Nintendo won't just give us the option to do that.

Is it limited by the main menu's programming? I think they put out that the data for the menu was only like a kilobyte or something super small like that, it might be limiting what they can do with regards to giving us sorting options, but I wouldn't know. Just that both the 3DS and Wii U let you drag and drop your games and apps however you saw fit but the Switch doesn't.

Looks like we're geting a Twitter Direct: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 comes out on July 19th.

I see Storm and Nightcrawler. It's not like we didn't know there'd be more X-Men, but it's still good to see.

Nintendo is releasing as many retail games in July as they are the first 5 months of the year.

Huh. Nintendo just revealed that Joker (and Smash Ultimate v3) launches sometime tomorrow (US time).

I guess this means that Persona 5 is coming to the Switch, because I can't think of anything else that "P 5 S" could be...
