So how did Donald Cheadle Duck work out?
I haven’t seen it yet though, since I have to set up my room for college today.
FYI it DIDN'T AIR yet. It airs NOW.
It's good seeing that despite her idol of many years basically disowned her admiration, Webby is still in high spirits and hanging out with the boys on their boat this time. I wonder if the houseboat is where they're spending their vacation days.

Okay I asked this last week, and no one answered so I am looking for an answer right now: ............ these episodes have been airing BEFORE 9:30 AM EST on Saturdays, hasn't it?
Cool. Well, that's what I get for never bothering to read the previous posts.

I must admit i expected BOTH episodes to be wall-to-wall action instead of spending most of part 1 on a lame farewell party and Scrooge's getting depressed. Thankfully it ramps up bny the 20 minute mark!
Yes! BEAKLEY is the one who told the rest of Scrooge's story to the kids! She really is awesome.
Scrooge, you change your mind toward family that easily huh? To a strange girl you never met? I hope you MEAN it this time.
Donald, now's the time to take action! Like we know you could this entire season!
I like that. She'd have likely done just that during the actual argument if Scrooge hadn't jumped on Webby (which he only did because she also took a shot at him when he was in full Never My Fault mode, which he was only in because they claimed he refused to spend any money on saving her). I'm assuming that while she was still mad about what he said, once she calmed down herself, she realized they still deserved to know the full story.
Might check these episodes out myself. Haven't been really watching for a while outside of short clips here and there.
One Strip! One Strip! It seems a bit odd that they value their shadows so much yet we haven't seen their shadows for MOST of the season given the animation style of this cartoon. Then again, this sounds like a good villain plan if only we saw what the shadows can do. Like... can they kill? Can they bring out the badness in people? I suppose they can destroy property but that's kinda lame.
lol the "Bark-sian". :D I see what you did there. .... aaaaaand here's Donny!
Ah. Lena is a SHADOW! She isn't even .... a real person?? :O
I am LOVING all the callbacks to the past episodes so far! They're not shoe-horned in either! Would like to see the Beagle Boys though. At least we see their shadows.
:D LAUNCHPAD'S THEME SONG TO THE DARKWING MELODY! Amazing.
Oh are they gonna play Keep Away? ... nope. But still a good fight.
oh! Without her powers, Magica is now normal-colored. She's looking more like her original design now. ...well great. Now the bin is destroyed and there should be a ton of people who are grabbing the cash!
Lena is really gone I suppose. Or, just in the way we remember her.
Woah the ruins of Della's ship! SHE'S STILL ALIVE!!! AND WE HAVE A VOICE ACTOR!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!! :O
If I remember, there was a bit at the Comicon panel showing Lena together with a new friend for Webby. So she may not be gone just yet.
lena was shown merging with webby shadow at the end when she put the friendship bracelet back on
Magica was great in this finale. Catherine Tate sounds like she's having a lot of fun with the lines.
Also, Donald being badass is great as well. Love how Don Cheadle even does Donald's garbled screams as he charges into his foes.
I've got so many questions, but I enjoyed the episode!
I wonder how strong the shadow minions are relative to the actual people they were taken from. Because one of the shadow minions that Donald takes on is the shadow of what looks like Falcon Graves, which makes me wonder if Donald can actually take on Falcon Graves in a fight.
Donald has probably seen some crazy stuff.
Sure he was mostly in a rage when fighting the Beagle Boys, but Beakly noted he could more than take care of himself.
Then again, when he's mad enough Donald overcomes his Butt-Monkey status through raw Unstoppable Rage (again he's punched out a shark in one of his older cartoons), so him being able to take on a trained assassin when crazy enough doesn't shock me.
One Strip! One Strip! One little detail I really liked when Magica starts summoning the shadow minions: one of the first people who loses their shadow is a mother pushing a baby carriage, and she immediately shields her baby once she sees her shadow coming out with glowing red eyes.
It's a really small thing, but I feel like it's a nice touch.

season 2 confirmed to be coming sometime this year. and angones said no more big hiatus's on his twitter
One thing I love about this iteration of Magica is that she is still funny, but she is more of a genuine threat than before.
With the reveal of Della's whereabouts, I seriously cannot wait for Season 2! I need to see this family reunion happen! And I just know that we're going to get another rendition of the Ducktales video game's "The Moon" music, which I hope they play in its full glory
Few villains have that right combo of comedy & menace.
The only one I can think of at the moment is Aku.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Though she has been depowered now, she is likely going to be more like Classic Magica in her methods more reliant on potions, spell ingredients, and magic artifacts. Which does work better for a recurring villain.

@slimcoder
Well there’s Calypso from Twisted Metal, Discord (pre character development) from MLP, Joker from Batman, Mr. Mxyptlyk from Superman, and (amusingly) Slade from Teen Titans Go to the Movies. Regarding the last three, DC Comics have a monopoly on Laughably Evil villains.
I was not expecting the Kingdom Hearts reference.
This song needs more love.
Donald was so badass!
