Wait, that is a plot twist? I though for some reason that we were supposed to know that little robots were connected to Alan ._. I at least thought so for whole time for some reason(that might be my bad memory or misunderstanding something)

Hey, all Robo has to do is make sure baby Alan gets enough schooling in ethics not to do things that'll raze the planet.

I once followed their Patreon and still get emails when something new is up there. Usually that means a day before a new comic there is a 'Processing' picture there.

Quick update, there's no new story yet, but the Atomic Robo website got a huge overhaul!

You probably haven’t checked out an RSA story in a while, so dive back into The Billion Dollar Plot to read about Tesla and his crew of adventure scientists unraveling a conspiracy to overthrow America, or jump into Raid on Marauder Island to read about more air piracy than you can shake a flight stick at and also it’s my mom’s favorite story.
But don’t forget to check out our brand new addition to the RSA archives, The Nicodemus Job! We had hoped to debut the new site and series earlier — of course it’s not our fault for asking for an endless series of tweaks and then tweaks back to what they were, don’t be ridiculous — so, we uploaded the first cover and first five pages to get back up to speed!

Nah, ALAN's speech bubbles are white-on-blue, like his hologram face. And he's been around long enough that he should be familiar with Newton and Wodehouse. Looks like Robo's just trying to improve the ratio of friendly to worldcidal AI.
I'm having trouble guessing the ages of these people. They look young enough to be literal children, but that can't be right.

Come on, Bernard. Robo's made out with a human chick despite lacking any sort of mouth, which is a thing that baffles me to this day. He of all people can sympathize between the forbidden love between man and rock monster.
Not sure if that line I'm paraphrasing works here, but the point is, Robo acknowledges he wasn't there when Bernie needed him and he takes responsibility for it.
Take that, Poor Communication Kills trope!
