The Night Before

Cyanea was going to show herself, but decided not too. She was going to jump down from the ceiling halfway through the movie to scare everybody. She didn't get a chance for that. When everyone got drunk, she decided to stay where she was for a couple reasons. One, so she wouldn't be called to help build the fort of hot woman, two, because she didn't think there was anything she could do to stop any of this in the first place, and three, as the youngest of several siblings, she recognized the chance for blackmail material when she saw it. She got a good bit recorded on her scroll, none of the terribly explicit stuff, that she only took a stray picture as proof before she officially snuck away, which wasn't hard, everyone was so out of it, she didn't doubt they'd miss her.

The Next Morning

Cyanea was up early standing in the kitchen humming as she made some pancakes from an instant mix that only needed water to function. She was whistling as she was flipping them and idly looking at her scroll when Stormer came around,

"Morning Stormer,"

She didn't even look up at him, but she knew who it was mostly cause he came from the direction of TNAC's dorm and she didn't think Alexia's prone form would be up by this point.

"You gonna go bug the bottle fairies? I got a frying pan you can bang if you like. I already have a full glass of water for each of them."

TEMPERANCE WANTS HIM DEAD

While Alexandros' s guard was down, Temperance pushed the limits of Azrael, first by running perpendicular to get away from the sonic blast, then charging once more.

Birthday Boy

"Damn it, Jack," Lucas muttered.

9:30 a.m.

"Oh, that's right," Pius reminded himself as he entered the living room. "It's your birthday, Lucas. I'll bake you a cake."

"Here," he said as he set down the jug and the cup. "Drink a lot of this; you'll need it to detox quickly." Then he sat down on his own bed and kept an eye on Alexia.

Stormer then heard Jack mention that it was Lucas' birthday today as he walked downstairs and reached the others.

"Wait, it's your birthday today, Lucas? Well, happy birthday then! How old are you now?"

"Nineteen," Lucas muttered. "Not that it matters, I don't want to celebrate it."

Hope's Peak

Sophie shifted in Hope's bed, squirmed around when the other girl buried herself in the covers. She snuggled into Hope's chest, before opening her eyes, staring at Hope with a drowsy, cute expression.

"....H-Hope?....Good morning...You're naked."

"Doesn't matter,"

Cyanea spoke loudly from the kitchen,

"Getting birthday flapjacks. Sit on down eat."

"...hey, Soph. You are also naked." Hope spoke absentmindedly in response to the other girl's greeting before smiling a rather strained smile. "How are you feeling?" She asked, letting her do her thing and giving her a small pat on the top of head as well as covering some of her with her blanket to preserve Sophie's dignity. 'twas a large blanket.

The Next Morning

Noa opened the dorm's door, her hand to her head as she looked around blearily. Shit, that had been a real bad fight last night. Practically slept in the gutter after that, she did. She had previously wondered how the others had been doing, but she didn't even need to ask before she found out. The moment she walked in, an array of bad smells and debauchery hit her. Her eyes widened. Aw, fuck no. Did she miss an amazing party?

"Yo, what tha fuck happened?" She yelled, outrage and disbelief in her voice as she slammed the door behind her, limping in quickly to find....

"DUST FUCKIN' TAKE IT." Noa bellowed at Lexi, staggering somewhat before she caught on her balance on the dining table. "YA GOT TOTALLY WASTED AND AH MISSED IT?"

There was no justice in this world, she was sure of it.

The Following Morning

Early in the morning on Crystallum 21st, Ai woke up with a massive headache. She looked aside, to where Charisse was. On any other ordinary day she'd have just assumed she came back from the bathroom and snuggled in. Not today. Not with this headache.

Ai rolled out of bed and crashed on the floor, bringing the sheets with her.

"Whoa, whoa! What happened?!"

Sophie smiled, then whimpered and groaned, squinting her eyes.

"M-muscles hurt...chest hurts...and...some other parts hurt too." Sophie blushed and was silent for a while, not looking at Hope when she murmured. "...I remember what happened last night."

Stormer then walked over to the fridge and pulled out a gallon of orange juice. He poured himself a cup of it as he looked around at the mess that the room had become after last night.

"Dust, that was crazy last night. I'm probably gonna end up being the only one to remember it all.", he thought to himself, "And things like that are why I'm staying sober for life."

"You don't need to tell me twice…" Yun agreed, deleting the footage once he had seen everything. The footage may be gone, but the memories…those would stay far longer than he would like. "Good morning Sophie…" He said, still staring at the wall blankly.

Charisse did not have a headache. She used to drink this stuff back home like others would drink water. She was slightly nauseous, yes, but she didn't have a headache.

"You drank way more than you should have, love. That stuff is a lot stronger than you thought. This isn't your baby Vacuonese/Valoran brew. This is hard Mistrali stuff." She replied with a grin. "You did some lewd stuff too. I would've gotten in on it but..."

She looked away for a second. "You looked like you were enjoying yourself for the first time in two months." She said quietly.

"You need to put up an actual fight for this to be fun!" yelled out Chariot, despite clearly enjoying herself.

She continued firing her weapon, aiming more to cripple Alexandros than kill him. She'd let others taste that glory.

Ayers emerged from the workshop, having once again polished Hrunting and Naegling to a mirror finish. Not like anyone ever beat him waking up. He headed downstairs, dressed in an undershirt and jeans, and nodded to Stormer. "Wild night. Now wh—fuck."

Ayers opened the fridge and grabbed some ham while he spoke. "Soon as I said that I remembered I still gotta grab Heorot back from Hope. That ain't gonna be perdy." He shrugged and tossed the ham in a frying pan, then cranked the fire all the way up. "I dint drink nearly enough last night. Barely got buzzed. That's the problem with weighing as much as I do. Drinking's expensive. Now, plans fer today? Gotta head into town and git clothes fer the ball, git all the cups'n'stuff, gotta harass the faculty about funding and locations..." He grunted. "This whole Ball thing's kind of a clusterfuck."

"I'll contact my parents about getting money for the ball in a little bit.", Stormer said. "Then I'll probably head into town as well to buy some supplies for decorating. Got a full list of what we need, Wulfen?"

Hope groaned, feeling her head pulsating with pain as she went back to lying on her back, blankly staring at the ceiling. "Look, Sophie, I... if I did anything, I'm sorry. I really am." She murmured, somewhat glad that she doesn't remember anything beyond some very vague flashes. "I just..." Another groan. "I didn't think it would escalate that fast beyond the first sip. Fuckin' Stormer and his fuckin' code of being a fuckin' octogenarian..." She mumbled under her breath, covering her face with hands.

Morning after

Medus walked into the room a pair of shades on but otherwise unaffected by all the booze he had consumed the night before. "Morning everyone." He said. Then he walked over to Alexia and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Ieria and I appreciate those scenes from last night."

Interlude

Julian took the opportunity while Alexandros was distracted with his allies to ghost in behind the businessman and stab his spear directly at the target's back, lightning crackling along the spear tip.

Morning

Glen hadn't slept much last night, too much going on in his head.

Parking himself in the kitchen and attempting to wrap his head around what he'd been through the night before, Glen said "If y'need money, I've got a wee bit stashed away back in the AWDC dorm. Been savin' up ever since I came down south, in case I needed tae get back, you ken?"

Ai opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. So I passed out before I got violent. Good.

She sat up, tossed the sheets onto the bed, and rubbed her temples to alleviate some of the pain and tension in her head.

"Actually Vacuo has some pretty strong distilled rice alcohol," she said, raspy through her dry throat, "maybe you should try it some time since you're so great."

She struggled to stand, using the bedpost to right herself.

"I think I'm gonna ... make tea."

Flipping the pancakes on a plate she brought them to the table and set them down on the table and took the spatula to the frying pan,

"Come and get it!"

She grabbed some plates and sat at the table,

"You know when the weather lets up we're gonna have to go into town to get dresses."

She paused than looked at Noa,

"Have you ever worn a dress?"

"I already ate," Lucas said, really insistent on not celebrating his birthday.

Sophie sighed, gazing to Yun.

"....Hey. I feel like crap. And I didn't beat any bosses." She coughed awkwardly. "so um...you both kind of used me last night, huh?"

Like a health potion.

Though it couldn't be seen from behind her hands, Hope blushed madly at Sophie's comment, letting out an incomprehensible mumble in response.

I really didn't mean to.

"Beating bosses are harder to do when you're intoxicated." Yun groaned, covering his eyes with a hand. "I ended up getting dragged in... Yes, that happened."
