Disney's Star vs. the Forces of Evil

I think "stupid an/or messed up" is a better term for such people...

The two leads are not siblings, that's why I (already) ship them. I don't get why people ship incests. That's just... disturbing.

Anyway, I have high hopes for this show.

Really liked the animation in the intro. The art style is nice too. Looks like a combo between "Gravity Falls" and "Scott Pilgrim", but looks a bit too "animesque" sometimes.

Also, I was a HUGE fan of "Kim Possible" and the chemistry between the two leads in this show reminds me of Kim and Ron.

I sense a surge of artists inspired by the look of Scott Pilgrim in animated cartoons. They have been appearing in still drawings and comics for a while but this is the first time we're seeing it in animation. Paul Robertson, the guy responsible for the 8-bit designs and animation in Gravity Falls, did the same for the Scott Pilgrim movie! Now we got this show!

Any word on whether it's going to be 11 minute episodes or 22 minute episodes? While both are valid formats, I think the form can hamper doing adventure episodes (I feel it has done so with both Adventure Time and Steven Universe from time to time).

I keep thinking this is about Star and his fight against the forces of Free-To-Play.

I still think they really won't be shipped. Even if they are not related, I think their friendship is too strong to become anything more but BFFs. And just because they stand next to each other, doesn't mean they're perfect to be shipped.

I finally saw the intro the other day.

The theme song is catchy and the art style has actually grown on me now that I actually saw it in motion.

I know it's a weird combination and Star vs. the Forces of Evil isnt even on TV yet. But I swear, this idea has been buzzing in my head for days, I just had to say it somewhere. And hey, you want to know another weird combination? Django/Zorro. And that was already announced at San Diego Comic Con this year.

I actually do kinda like how Star sounds. It's pretty good IMO.

Yeah, I kinda imagined Star would sound a little higher, but I think what we're getting is growing on me.

So, TV Guide recently posted a first look article detailing when we'll first be able to see the show before its official debut on Disney XD later in 2015, among other details such as its opening and ending sequences and themes.

This show is starting to grow on me. Can't wait to see how it goes!

...Also, yeah, the outdated topic title could stand to be changed.

The opening theme is quite engaging and all, but now it's up to everything else to bring it on home. I have the utmost confidence, however - that they will.
