As it stands, I'm not sure that's going to work very well. While there's nothing inherently wrong with more jokey characters, you probably shouldn't play one when you're just starting out. I'd recommend picking a more serious character if you wanna join.

Holy magic focuses on self buffs, like increased rang, better eye sight, removing curses (Again the magic can be easy can be easy dispelled by most) Elemental is your normal elemental attacks. By the way all his magic requires his twin pistols which act as his focuses.

Looks generally decent to me, but I think you oughta expand the personality section a bit more. Since you've already been here before, I'm not going to be too stringent about it, though it should definitely get beefed up.

In the absence of Ramuf, who usually handles the sign-ups, I can tell you that as nifty as inanimate joke characters can be, we don't recommend them for players just starting out with us. Once you're a little more established with us and we know you can handle stranger character concepts, you can play as anything under the sun.

If there's a more conventional character you'd like to play as, you're welcome to submit a new sign-up for them. As one last little tip, when writing this sign-up, the one thing we usually pull people up on is for having a personality section that is too brief.

Your signup's a bit sparse. Given that this is a game that heavily centers around character conversation and interaction, it's good to try and have as developed and robust personality as you can. You need to flesh it out some, develop on it, and stuff like that.

However, I think you might want to do that for a different character. Fighting's fine and all, but having a character who's bloodthirsty doesn't always end well. There's nothing wrong with fighting, per se, but it's generally a good idea to try and have a character who's more focused around interaction before you try a villain or anything like that.

So yeah, I think you ought to try and pick somebody else.

Gender: None. (although he prefers male pronouns.)

Appearance: A shadowy, constantly shifting mass with two red eyes and a... toothy grin. He does have limbs, although they are hidden by the shadows surrounding him.

Personality: Generally very dry witted. Has a tendency to be blunt, although more in a good-humoured way. Has a good heart, although seemingly lazy and uncaring. Used to be an interdimensional war monger, but that's all in the past.

Abilities: Can disappear into the shadows, acting as a camouflage. Limited by the fact that his eyes glow in the dark. Carries a small battleaxe, although he never uses it. Claims "it's for the image."

Yo, welcome to the thread.

Your signup's a little thin on details, particularly in the personality section. Since a lot of this game revolves around conversation and things like that, it's generally best to try and have as robust of an idea about your character's personality as you can. Just makes things easier and all.

Another thing to consider is that Roken's a villainous character. There's nothing wrong with playing those sorts of people, but as a general rule of thumb, people ought to start out with characters who are a bit more benign. It's generally helpful to get a feel for the game with a more "normal" character first, then branch out afterwards once you've gotten your footing. It's a bit hard to adjust to a game like this if your character's an ex-warlord with a penchant for whacking people with battleaxes, after all.

So, in other words, I think you should pick a different, less malignant character and then write your signup for them, trying to beef up the personality section as much as you can. You don't have to go overboard with it, just include some more detail.

Hello, I'm a newbie to the website, so I would like to give this RP a shot, if you would like to accept me. Here is my submission:

• Age: 23, as of Post-Disaster Year 323
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: An averagely built human male with short red hair and blue eyes and a lack of facial hair. Wears a white and blue Gjallarhorn Inspection Bureau uniform (essentially the same one that McGillis Fareed and Gaelio Bauduin wear)
• Personality: Arrogant, friendly and loyal to his friends. Takes loyalty to a group very seriously. Is very much a fan of humanoid combat vehicles, especially Mobile Suits and Gundams. Likes to crack a joke every now and again. Has a tendency to take initiative occasionally as well. Also treats some of his enemies with the respect they deserve.
• Abilities: A competent Mobile Suit pilot, and is a fairly analytical person. Rather knowledgeable when it comes to Mobile Suit technology from the Post Disaster Era.

Her shaky sense of self makes it easy for her to take in the habits and nervous ticks of the people around her.
• Abilities: Her slime biology makes her invulnerable to conventional melee injury and vulnerable only to the likes of high caliber firearms, explosions, great falls, excess moisture and magic. Her lack of vital organs or specialized tissues makes her damage thresholds for her vulnerabilities significantly higher than the average human. Being a mimic slime specifically, she can shapeshift into other humanoids, imitate the physical properties of objects she's touched, and form simple objects out of her own goo. Basically a squishier T-1000. Advanced applications of her mimic functions include invisibility and free adjustment of physical abilities, but those are beyond her current understanding of her body.

Your signup looks good; there's not much I have to say about what you've written there. You wrote a nice, detailed chunk about her personality and everything, which is what we like to see. It seems quite realistic for her kind of character and all. I don't have much to add, really; it's well-written and it reads nicely.

There's something I'd like some clarification on, though. I'm not quite sure what you mean by her age. Do you mean that she's 5 years old chronologically but 19 years old mentally? I think I might be misreading it, but I just want to make sure. There's nothing wrong with that if that's the case, just so we're clear. Just wanna make sure I get what's going on there.
