Personally I prefer Cubone or Marowak/Charizard. A dark or ghost Charizard also could be cool but I haven't found a good sprite of one yet. But yes, Charchamp is really cool anyhow.

M: Do you think they'll try to fight us?

B: Stay calm, brothers. We can handle anything they throw at us. Because we are...

*they all instantly pose and show off their muscles, with plenty of sparkles*

All: THE ASHSTRONG BROTHERS!

-the trio whips out their phones - yes, cell phones-

-and promptly summons (respectively by Hibiki, Daichi, and Io) Amaterasu, Fenrir, and Lugh to their aid-

M: If it's battle that you want, it's a battle that you will have!

V: That's right! *breaths a stream of fire at Fenri*

B: *looks over his younger brother's haste, then glances over at M*

M&B: *nod at each other*

B: flies into the air, while M rushes to tackle and if successful, grab, Amateratsu.

EDIT: The lastest generation I've played is a rom of Platinum, so don't ask me

-Fenrir leaps to the side, dodging the Flamethrower, then counters with Multi-Hit (A flurry of physical blows focused on one target)-

-Amaterasu casts Maziodyne (Multiple blasts of lightning directed at many enemies simultaneously) on Meraxes and Balerion, right before the former grabs her-

-Lugh casts Megido (generate a powerful burst of energy at the positions of all enemies) on the Ashstrong Brothers-

V: is hit by both attacks and blown away. He stands up and again tries Flamethrower.

M: endures the lightning but is sent to the side by Megido. He snarls and tries to grab Amateratsu again.

R: flies and manages to dodge Megido.

-and now for some "Trainer" interference-

Holy Dance!

-cue random, unfocused blasts of pure energy being fired at the bros.-

Shield All!

-cue barriers surrounding the trio and the demons which completely protects them from ONE attack-

-in Fenrir and Amaterasu's cases, the barriers are almost instantly depleted to block Flamethrower and the charging grab-

Nigayomogi!

-cue purple bubbles of toxic gas being sprayed at the brothers-

All are hit by Holy Dance as they regroup, but only Vhagar is hit by the toxic bubbles. Luckily, he doesn't get poisoned.

All: This technique has been passed down our family line for generations!

All of the breath a stream of blue fire, all of them fusing together in the shape of an azure dragon that flies to strike as many enemies as possible.

All: DRAGON WRATH!
