@131919: CMC are the real protagonists confirmed.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.I like the dual item effect in each mark. Star and note, apple and heart, and wing and lightning.
...thtat sounds like a list of Kirby powers.

"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. SarkLike next week wasn't hinted to be enough of a big deal.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty....Does she have a hedgehog cutie mark?

This song needs more love.@Ed: Call earth pone a mudpony only if you're not scared of her turning you into a pretzel.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Highly profession team of campaign managers.
"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. SarkMore thoughts: It's like episode 100. I could nitpick if I wanted to, but I won't.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectBit of a late viewer of the episode here. This one almost felt finale worthy.
What do you know, it was after they finally made friends with and redeemed the school bully that they finally got their Cutie Marks. Guess friendship really is magic.
Wow, that episode was completely unexpected in several different ways.
It almost seems like the pilot for a spinoff focusing on the CMC.
Also, bet Sera's going to have a fit over this.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayMeh, the idea behind DT's stuff was good, but the execution was to rushed and forced to make me actually care for the little brat.
I guess the reason it didn't feel rushed to me was that I was already sympathetic to Diamond Tiara.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI know the CMC stole the show but this episode also confirmed Derpy for delivery pony.
Reaction Image RepositoryWell that was confirmed back in episode 100.
But yeah, it was just, to rushed to have that big a turnaround, that fast, after so long of her being just plain evil.
That was quite amazing! I'm so happy for the CMC!
Diamond Tiara reforming does seem a little abrupt, but I'd personally rather give her (and the show) the benefit of the doubt, and I'm curious to see how her character develops from now on. Perhaps she'll end up meeting Discord, who also was at least partially reformed in one single episode. Since Diamond Tiara's inner thoughts haven't been explored before, she may have had some well-hidden remorse for her actions as even a fleeting thought. I remember that in her first appearance, she did invite Apple Bloom to her cuteceñara (sp?). I remember it being mentioned here on this thread a few pages ago that the fact that Diamond Tiara's mom was on the school board would explain why Cheerilee seemed to take an overly lax approach to DT's bullying ways. I'd also note that this isn't the only time DT has notably failed in comparison to the CMC, because they were chosen for the Equestria Games flag team instead of her, so perhaps her doubts may have even started after that, if only a little bit.

She invited AB to the party, just so she could make fun of her more and lord over how superior she is then the pathetic little Blank Flank.
Right, so I had to miss the live streaming and just watched it, but goddamn this episode had much more than I expected it to.
I agree with the stuff about Diamond Tiara's arc being really rushed, what particularly gets me is that this is about fourth series I follow that has given the Alpha Bitch character the same Freudian Excuse of terrible parents. Like damn, that's cliche is a lot more common than I thought it was. But yea, it would have been a lot better if they built up to this over the five seasons. But the concept itself was good.
Dat ending tho...holy shit. It makes so much sense too, they've spent so much time trying to find their talent when they're talent was helping others the whole time. Its...so...perfect. The song, the So Proud of You moments, the fact that AJ's parents are actually dead ;_;. I know this was a Series Fauxnale, but if this was the end of the series, I wouldn't be mad at all.
Meh on the DT stuff, GODLIKE on the ending.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, there is a reason for the finale feeling to it. This was the last script AKR wrote for pony. And what a send off.
Whatever Disney is paying her, it won't be enough.
The way I she it, DT probably had feelings like that bottled up for a long time, but she would never admit it because she was afraid of her mom.
It wasn't until SS left that she reached the breaking point.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayOh I agree with that, the issue was it was never shown or even hinted at till now.
Again, the ideas were solid and work, just the execution was a bit fast to really make them work.
And yet I feel that it doesn't hurt the episode all that much.
If it was JUST about DT, it would have but.. all is forgiven in the shear glory of that ending.
