We have the Toy Ship trope for these situations. Character ages were never a hindrance for shipping.
However, Digimon have a ridiculoulsy long lifespan in Fusion, so it is impossible to determine what is their actual age. They still seem to be the equivalent of kids for the Digimon, though.

The dub for season 2 is coming this weekend over on Nicktoons. I, for one, am looking forward to it! But I still think it was a cheep-ass move that Angie and Jeremy were not able to join. Your thoughts?

I thought it was a relief — I'll miss Jeremy since he kicked a lot of Digi-tail in season 1 and hilarious in the dub, but Angie wasn't much more than Mikey's (canon) love interest. Mikey is still at the short end of the stick concerning character development when compared with Nene and Christopher, but he's still a likable leader and has a great clash with Nene's misguided brother Ewan later.

Wow! This season premiere doesn't hold back! My only gripe is that Dracomon's VA sounds unenthusiastic. At least he's not canon fodder.

It's spelled "cannon fodder". Canon is a completely different word and meaning.
Pretty good. I'm glad to see NeoMyotismon showing up so quickly. Only disappointment is they didn't name Flarizamon, Megadramon, Gigadramon, and Darktyrannomon onscreen. They didn't even show Gigadramon showing up in general. While the others made specific appearances where they walk/flew in, Gigadramon is just... there. If you didn't see Megadramon nearby, you could've sworn nobody new was there. 
My guess is the ones shown with a name are meant to actually be toy sales, while the rest are irrelevant cannon fodder in comparison.

I saw what I could of this show on Netflix and was a little disappointing that it stopped at episode 30. Then I saw this thread and when to post my opinion on the show and dub when I read that the second season was being dubbed as well I know it started tonight, so when can I catch it?
This morning, actually. It was a two-ep premiere at 10 AM. Not sure if Nicktoons will keep airing two episodes a week going forward though.

The second part of the first season just started airing in English. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD!

Didn't catch the first half, but "rise of Shoutmon DX" is getting more aggressive by the second. Also Neomyotismon's second mode is a badass!!!

NeoMyotismon's voice is one of my favorite parts. I love that he actually talks far more like a Vampire than Myotismon did dub-wise.
Also, I love the end part of 4th episode, where Beelzemon just steps on Neo's data and rubs his foot in it, with a pretty good camera angle to boot.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
I agree, Neil did a great job voicing NeoMyotismon, and even moreso Cherami with Lopmon.
Mervamon's debuting next week, and it looks like she has a new sports bra. XD

Yes, and it will only take one more year. At this rate when the Fusion finally ends a seventh season will be already at mid-point in Japan. Any reason for such slowness?
