I think the suggestion is actually a better picture for The Corruption than the current...as for Viral Transformation, if we can find a pic of someone being bitten by a zombie and turning, that would work better.

This was a heck of a hard search, trawled through zombie bites to vampire siring until I found this pic from the Vampire The Masquerade card game about ghouling a human.
Edit: My mistake, it's from the Werewolf The Apocalypse card game, but it's depicting a vampire and ghoul from the same 'verse's sister game Vampire the Masquerade.

No, the other one.
It's a good take on the meme, at least. And it does illustrate. On the bad side, it kind of relies on prior knowledge (about the meme and zombies) that it's a Russian Reversal of sorts. Or at least, that's what I think it shows.

The zombie bit a chunk out of Chuck Norris and, rather than turning Norris into a zombie, was turned into a Chuck Norris clone...of sorts.

My only objection to that overall setup is that it feels over-wordy. If it gets consensus I'm not gonna object.
