Wow that is an incredibly awkward thing to say especially with Injustice Wonder Woman by your side.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Isn't she not evil in this universe?
Forget Wonder Woman, Harley is in the shot with the heroes as Batman says that.
It feels like they decided a very weird approach with this adaptation.
Adding in all of Injustice Batman's more uh not morally ambiguous moments whole weirdly cutting most of Clark's. Which leads to Batman being kinda of a prick...
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Which is why its such a bizarre sight overall. Regardless of Diana's adaptational heroism here its still an odd sight to see.
Also I just now noticed Harley's costume has H's on her breasts. Wow that is an ugly design choice.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Can we ever have a Superman that accidentally (somehow) takes over the world and is still kinda decent? Like,an antagonistic Supes thats more of a treating humans like they're helpless infants and not murdering them? It would still be wrong to think and act like that. But not jumping over the Moral Event Horizon wrong. Kinda want to see what a world where some Kryptonians essentially take over by doing anything dangerous for the Puny Earthlings. And then everyone dies when the next alien invader chucks a kryptonite meteor at Earth. There's a good reason for Batman to keep up his skills and not rely on Superman.

The worst he did there was forcibly lobotomizing criminals.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I was thinking more on the line of how some old superman stories would have him put his friends through convoluted schemes to keep them safe instead of explaining to them first that he's tricking the bad guys or aliens. And the efforts to keep them safe often backfire. He'd do it to Batman even though Bruce is not helpless.
According to DC Fandome, comic writer Brandon Thomas (Hardware) is penning an upcoming Milestone Comics animated film.

Static Shock? Not familiar with Milestone comics.
"Battle of the Supersons" CG movie confirmed for 2022
There's a TV Tropes page for Milestone, but a quick and dirty rundown is that it was an imprint Dwayne Mc Duffe and other creators who wanted more diversity in comics started. Static is the most famous Milestone hero. Milestone is technically part of DC, hence why Static can interact with the JL and was on the Titans, but the rights are a bit weird so sometimes they can't show up in DC stuff.
My AO3Oh, yeah. I love Tara Strong - she's absolutely amazing - but I've never felt like Harley was her best performance, and most actresses who have played Harley over the years do better takes on the character imo.
Much as I didn't like the movie itself, I think the actress who played her in Batman and Harley Quinn gets a bum rap.
I too get a bit exasperated by "this character did a thing RL years ago that I didn't like, and the plot is moving on without them getting the punishment I think they deserve, so I demand the plot regress until the character gets punished to my satisfaction" reactions, especially when the story is clearly just not interested in portraying the characters that way any more. Injustice isn't the only fanbase you see that in, but it's maybe one of the biggest ones.
Especially since, at least for the Injustice fandom as a whole (not necessarily any specific case), the mentality got most of its traction by getting swept up in the "how dare you make a story with an evil Superman" backdraft.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.https://www.ign.com/articles/dc-animated-movies-for-2022-teen-titans-go-green-lantern
We have some announcements to make. Excluding the Teen Titans Go/DC Superhero Girls crossover movie, we have a few movies coming next year:
1. The previously announced Catwoman: Hunted comes out February 8.
2. The summer will see the release of a Green Lantern movie called Green Lantern: Beware My Power.
3. The fall will see the release of a CGI movie called Battle Of The Super Sons.
4. The previously announced Constantine short sees Matt Ryan return to the role.
Fuck yes.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. My first prediction turned out to be the correct one. We're getting an animated Green Lantern movie titled Green Lantern: Beware my Power in summer 2022, set in the Lukicverse.

The five best Superman writers are Dan Jurgens, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Peter J. Tomasi. In fairness regardless of her atoning by helping them, there is a bizarreness in Batman telling her Superman isn't getting off easy while having Harley standing beside him.
Its an odd kind of double standard.
Holy fuck.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Here's the trailer for Catwoman: Hunted:
Well, when I say "set in the Lukicverse" I'm extrapolating from the presenter saying it is an "addition to the DC Animated Movie canon". She didn't literally say it was set in the same world as Man of Tomorrow, Long Halloween, and Justice Society: World War II.
Battle of the Super Sons is CG. Do you think they're going to switch to everything being CG after it, or is this just a one-off thing?

The five best Superman writers are Dan Jurgens, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Peter J. Tomasi. That was Melissa Rauch. Kind of funny to me how Harley's been voiced by two people who starred on The Big Bang Theory (Kaley Cuoco of course being the other voice).
Personally I'm kind of mixed on Tara Strong's voice for Harley. My first exposure to the character was B:TAS, so I'm a bit more used to Arleen Sorkin's voice, but even then it's like...Tara Strong has a very distinctive voice. I don't immediately think "Yeah, this is Harley Quinn", I think "Oh right, that's Tara Strong", there's not the same level of immersion. Usually she's very good at immersion. She did a great job as Raven on Teen Titans. For whatever reason, I just don't get that same reaction to her as Harley Quinn.
Confession: Tara Strong's Harley and Arleen Sorkin's Harley sound completely identical to me.
The five best Superman writers are Dan Jurgens, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Peter J. Tomasi.I guess he was a big fan of Doc Savage.
The Doctor is in.Okay, I have some time before I hit the road again. Let's see what I missed yesterday:
Excuse me? EXCUSE ME?
Okay, it really, REALLY needs to have kids as Jon and Damian. No Dawson Casting BS this time. Not to my boys. (Seriously, the kid who voices Kid from Kid Cosmic would be beyond awesome as either Jon or Damian. Change my mind.
NGL, when I first read that, I thought it was going to be a continuation to Green Lantern: The Animated Series, but now that it's setting in, it probably isn't that, is it? Still, Green Lantern after everyone thought it was lame because of the 2011 movie.

I say it before but DC is extremely lenient on her.
Which is funny cause DC has been doing a sort of Deadpool approach to her without the life that is perpetually shit. Deadpool very much acts like Harley and the result is very few people like him. He is treated with scorn by the superhero community, his closest allies are constantly driven to either kill or abandon him out of frustration with his behavior, and his love life is generally a total disaster.
He even has a daughter like Injustice Harley though unlike her he recognizes that he can’t be in her life at all because he is too much of a messed up piece of shit to properly care for her.
