I knew coming in that she and Bigby got married in the comic, so that relationship between them I knew wasn't existent yet but the framework was there + likeable personality + she's gorgeous (I have a thing for a Hot Chick In A Badass Suit) = someone I enjoyed interacting with a lot.
Curse you, as-of-now unknown serial killer!
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.About time. Four months is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for two hours of content, but I'll let it go as long as we never have to wait this long without word again. Because really what stung the most was that I payed for the entire game up front on good faith, loved the first episode (seriously, if the series stays as strong as Episode 1, I'm already calling it GOTY 2014), and didn't hear anything for three months. That's not an inconsequential amount of time. It's a quarter of a year. By the original plan, the first week of February should have been the third episode.
I'm just hoping that "first week of February" means the first week of February. PSN updates on Tuesdays, and if it's not by February 4th (the first Tuesday in February) I won't have time to play it for two additional weeks.
Would you seriously rather Telltale rush the game out before it's finished?
In my opinion, more dev time, so long as it doesn't edge into Development Hell is always a good thing.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Can Telltale just expand it's company so they can actually keep up with demand? They sure are popular enough to warrant it.
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherI don't think they need to. The wait between episodes is perfectly reasonable.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."No. I would rather they tell us if there are delays.
After Episode 1 came out there was no word on Episode 2 until December, when it was already supposed to be out. We were told to watch for news "very soon after the holidays". And that's the last we heard of it until today. Halfway through January is really pushing the phrase "very soon".
I don't care if a game is delayed. But you need to communicate with your audience about that, especially if some of them have already paid for your product. I understand that they can't say exactly what caused the delay, due to various non-disclosure agreements, but an apology for the delay would not have been unwarranted whatever the cause, and we did not get one. That's just bad customer service.
I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a basic level of information about the development of the game if you've already put money up for it.

The episode was never "delayed." They never gave us a release date to expect to begin with.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Actually, yes, they did. Around the time Episode 1 came out, they said that episodes would come every couple months, and episodes of Walking Dead Season 2 would come out between them, in order to shorten up the wait for content.
Even if that wasn't true, the statement today actively acknowledges that there was a delay.
Requesting basic communication about a product I've already paid for is not out of line.
It still seems silly to get so mad about it to me. It's not like the episode was never going to come out, and Telltale has always had a record of long waits between episodes.
You should have expected this when you made your purchase.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."It's not about the wait (although it was double any other wait). It's about the lack of communication.
What should the have communicated? "Hey, there's a delay."
Maybe they figured it was obvious.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Obvious or not, they have a responsibility to say "Hey, this is taking longer than expected. Sorry for the delay."
That is basic customer service.
EDIT: And, in fact, with no previously announced release date, it's not obvious. If you were expecting it in mid-December (as history should have taught you to) then it came and went with not a word.

Just here to say that whoever added the quote to the game's page deserves an internet or two.
noisivelet naht nuf erom era srorrimJust beat the first episode. Comic information: Having read the comics, Snow's death was a bit of a shock. However, since I know she can't actually permanently die, I'm now operating under the assumption that Faith could be alive, given the mirror wouldn't show her body and apparently we can just get people's heads like that.
Unfortunately, Bigby not knowing the metagame knowledge I have, will probably still be assuming they're both dead. Oh well, sucks to be him.

On one hand, that's good news. On the other, that kind of ruins the shock value of the last scene of the chapter.
Oh well, it seems like most of you knew it anyway, so...
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. It does ruin the shock value a bit, but it does add a nice bit of intrigue related to just what is up with the heads?
the way the fables world works is that fables immunity works by how well known they are so....poor faith may stay dead even if theres no chance in hell snow will
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."So, Dave Fennoy aka Lee Everette is apparently going to be in episode 2 As Bluebeard.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Man, I REALLY hate not being able to play the next episode when it comes out.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Oh cool!
SOOOOOON!
But hey, trailer means it's almost done eh?
Trailer means it is done, and they're just sitting around waiting for an update day on the various platforms.
Which I'm assuming will be tuesday.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
She always dies at the end of episode 1. The fact that she dies is what threw off ALL the fans of Fables.
