AAAAAAAH, X IN MARVEL VS. CAPCOM INFINITE. THE CRASH REMASTERS LOOK AMAZING, SHOW ME SUM OF THAT 2 AND WARPED SOON PLEASE. And...the last of us...2
....Greaaaaaat, that deflated all my enthusiasm.
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)50 million and still rising. It's now the 13th best selling console ever and is about 11 million from passing the 3DS. It's on the same path as PS 2 according to projections but it remains to be seen if it will reach that before a PS 5 is announced.
(The Vita might've passed the Wii U by now but we haven't gotten any numbers on those for awhile)

I have a question. I'll be getting a PS 4 soon and I was wondering, is it possible to have more than one PSN ID, or would I have to still use the one I have for PS 3? I would like to keep my PS 3 and 4 trophies and DLC lists separate if possible so that they don't get prohibitively long.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierYour PSN ID stuff carries over I believe. Like 99% sure it does but I was on the 360 last gen so I'm not sure.
Oh really when?My PS 4 arrived! I have it set up and everything, but I won't have any games for it until Christmas. I mean, I could get one of the download-only games on my wishlist, but I'm replaying Xenoblade X right now and I want to focus on that.
This may be a little off topic but I want to be sure before I actually buy the game.
Can I play the Garden Warfare 2 story mode without a P Splus subscription?
Been searching on info about PS 4 Pro but I figured it wouldn't hurt to get an opinion or two from here;
For someone with a regular HDTV (1080p) does the Pro offer anything significant to justify the extra 100€?
Supposedly it's faster than a standard/slim, but will it show in any meaningful way?
Smoother framerate in games like the Last Guardian if you play in 1080p 30 FPS mode on the PS 4 Pro.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureYeah, read about that just a bit ago, and that just seems more like a dev oversight than an intended "feature"
Larger hard drive. And some games do intentionally have a better frame rate when you lock it to 30 (and some will run at 60).
Well, I've been eyeing at a Slim bundle that comes with a 1TB hard drive anyway. So that's a moot point.
And doesn't it require a dev to make an update for games that came out before the Pro to have a higher frame rate? Will most even bother?
I got a 1080p or "2k" TV as it's called by some. So a Pro seems like it would be excessive and wasteful.
Almost all the AAA games already have patches with most smaller devs making them right now. And while it takes a patch to run it in 4K, it'll still run smoother without one on the Pro.
Personally I think it's worth the extra money if only for the future but eh, it's up to you.

Oh really when?So most games would run a bit smoother on a 2k/1080p TV?
Guess I'll have to find some comparison thing somehwere that isn't pre-rendered screenshots on Sony's own website.
They'd all run smoother. Somewhat, at least.
Oh really when?Just looked up some PS 4 VS Pro in 1080 videos for reference. No noticable differences in smoothness, just the lighting looked slightly nicer on a Pro.
Which really doesn't make me want to spend an extra 100€.

My PS 4 is incoming. I have a used copy of Metal Gear Solid V, because FucKonami, and Uncharted 4. A friend owns the previous games and will loan them to me.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I'm 80% considering picking up a Slim bundle that has Bloodborne (I've been wanting that thing for ages now), Uncharted 4 and... No Man's Sky.
The last one doesn't really thrill me, but it's practically a freebie for the price of the bundle with otherwise two appealing games.
Well, I never played any of the other Uncharted games due to a lack of a PS 3 and PS 4, but hopefully I don't need to be some Uncharted super nerd to understand what's going on in Uncharted 4.
I'm afraid that's not true. Without a Pro-supported title the PS4 Pro will run in a mode that that limits itself to emulate the standard PS4 hardware, leading to no change in performance or image quality.

this place needs me hereI kind of wish PS 4 had a "Michael" trailer.
Or that Sony just kept updating that concept with some "new" legendary feat Michael performed in the eyes of the game characters.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Theres a fun idea! What new characters would appear in a PS 4 "Michael" trailer?
Off the top of my head:
- A Guardian and/or Ghost
- Aloy
- Cloud Strife or the Chocobros
- Sora, Aqua, or a keyblade in the background
- Big Boss
- Trico
Alternatively Sony could just make We Are Number One but it's Kojima and Andrew House.
