Jonathan Quick is worse than aids

For the 1st time in 20 years, the New York Rangers are in the playoffs. Amazing :)

Playoff time, finally. This is going to be fun, though I am worried about how my Habs will fare-Ottawa really has our number for some reason. Also, I'm wondering how being the favorites and home ice will work for us, considering the last couple times we had that.

Between the Ottawa-Montréal games and the Vancouver-Calgary ones, this is going to be an epic first round for the Canadian teams. I'm cheering for Winnipeg to make it to the second round, too, but I don't have high hopes for that.

Cheering for Vancouver (my home team, or as close as no matter) in the west. I'd be happy regardless of whether Ottawa or Montréal wins - both teams have players I really like, especially Price and 'Hamburgler' - but I feel like Montréal is the Canadian team with the best chance of making it to the Stanley Cup playoff. And I really want a Canadian team to win the Cup.

If by some miracle Montréal and Vancouver both make it to the Stanley Cup finals, I will of course be cheering for the Canucks.

VAN is my second favourite team. It's just too bad one of you or CGY has to lose, and I will be cheering for the Jets as well. I'm hoping that Hamburglar regresses now: It's not a question of "if but "when"-his numbers are just unsustainable. I'm just hoping it happens now. Habs always lose to the Sens as well, no clue why. MTL is just better in pretty much everything except for depth scoring and coaching.

As a side note, I'm happy that LA and the Bruins didn't make it.

As for who I'm rooting for, well, look at my location. The Flyers clinched their playoff spot with their win on Saturday, but the team will be entering the playoffs with heavy hearts, as their founder and owner Ed Snider passed away this morning.

BEAT LA

Tonight's Flyers vs. Capitals game 3 was really painful to watch. The Capitals power play was making mincemeat out of us as players and even fans kept getting penalties. Flyers lost 6-1 tonight and are one loss away from getting swept.

Well, the Flyers got eliminated today. They did manage to make up for the horrible loss in game 3 by winning the next two before losing in game 6. They made a good run this season, though.

As do the Pens. I get the feeling nothing short of season-ending injury is going to stop them.

EDIT because I don't like bumping threads for the sake of bumping: Why do I feel more curious about what happens in the West Finals this year? As my location indicates, I don't live there.
