Hmmm.. kind of tempted to app, as this would be a chance to use some ideas that have been rolling around in my head for a while. Would app as Babette from Skyrim, but she has fairly limited power other than the whole vampire thing going on.

I also have had the idea of twisting a magical girl around ala Superman: Red Son. So either a girl born with the innate magical gift but raised by the State, or maybe a magical girl who's the servant of a Lovecraftian Elder God (or at least who *thinks* she is).

I'll probably have another character in here, but for now...

• Personality: Erza is strictness incarnate, wrathful of anyone who exhibit bad behavior and habits when she is around them. She is also extremely impatient, expressing strong dislike for people who do not answer her questions quickly enough, and have little to no modesty. However, she also holds a great sense of justice and pride, and expresses remorse if she does not protect those dear to her.
• Abilities/Weapons: Due to the sheer number of abilities and weapons she holds, here they are.
• Backstory: Due to laziness...

Hmmm...

While her abilities seem fine, I'm going to have to ask you to narrow down on her armors. While they don't seem overpowered, I'm more worried that they fill in too many combat roles too easily and might cut down on the choices other people have.

Not all of them, but cut down on the number of armors somewhat.

Here's my character, updated for this game:

• Name: Sijo (pronounced See-ho)
• Age: seems to be in his 20's
• Gender: male
• Appearance: nondescript white male, dark hair, dark eyes. Wears green shirts and blue pants.
• Canon, Alternative, or OC?: OC
• Universe of Origin: an unknown Earth
• Personality: Quiet. Constantly analyzes the situation around him. Tries not to get involved in things but cannot stand seeing innocents suffer. He can be quite a snarker when provoked though.
• Abilities/Weapons: He has quite a long list of abilities that he has gained in multiple words- collecting such abilities *is* one of his main motivations, in fact. The thing is, most of them only work on their respective universes. So depending on the dimension he currently is, he could fight gods or be just a mortal. Usually, he's at average superhero-level, using Telekinesis as his favorite power.

He has only one natural power that is always available: the ability to "see" the cracks in space/time and use them to travel anywhere. The catch is, he cannot open these portals- he has to wait for them to open, often leaving him stranded on a world for quite a while.

• Other abilities: is a fairly good hand-to-hand combatant, nothing extraordinaire. Favors staves as weapons. His best talent is his knack for "understanding" people- which both helps him to devise tactics in combat and to figure out when something wrong is going on.

• Backstory: Sijo was born somewhere in the United States. He was only 6 years old when he discovered his world-walking power -which he had inherited from an ancestor, a wizard- and accidentally traveled to the Land of Faerie. There he befriended some brownies, who taught him about the multiverse and magic. When he told his family about this, however, they though he was just making it up. So he kept his trips to the Otherworld a secret. When he became a teenager, his parents died. No longer feeling bound to Earth, he left, and has been wandering the multiverse ever since, "collecting" powers and occasionally helping people, if he feels his help is needed (he usually lets the local authorities and/or heroes handle things, unless they clearly can't.)

I'm sorry, but I can't accept someone who might have a vast amount of incredibly powerful abilities unlisted just because they only work in certain universes. If we ever visit any of those universes he's been to, it could really cause some serious problems.

In addition, powers in this setting don't just go away if they're not in the same universe they originate from.

• Name: Kat
• Age: N/A

• Appearance: "Let's get moving, Dusty!"◊

• Personality: Kat is optimistic and heroic. She helps everyone within earshot if the task isn't too difficult. This is a girl who will hand you money from her pocket if you need it for something far more important than she does. Her heroics got her the name of the Gravity Queen in Auldnoir. Besides the heroics, Kat is a girl at heart. She cares about her appearance. She shows interest in boys. Pretty mundane stuff for a girl her age (?).
• Abilities/Weapons: The cat called Dusty that hangs around Kat grants her the ability to manipulate her own gravitational pull. Abilities are listed as follows—
  • Manipulation of Gravity: This extends to mostly Kat's person though those caught in her activation stasis field will be caught in it. (This only extends to around 4ft radius with Kat as its center). This allows Kat to walk up the sides of walks, to walk on ceilings, the works. She can use this to fly through the air for aerial combat with her kicks or to prank others (which she has never done). Not quite flight but more like constantly jumping through the air to get to a single destination.
  • Stasis Field: Kat projects a multicolored sphere around her body which allows her to pull objects into her own gravitational pull. They will levitate and orbit around her to follow wherever she goes. Kat mostly uses this to escort people or to help move the wounded.
  • Gravity Slide: Kat slides on the ground, ignoring friction and wind resistance as she goes. Useful for speedy travel.
  • Spiraling Claw: Using her own gravity powers and Dusty as assistance, Kat mimics the motion of a drill. She spins fast enough to shroud herself in slicing winds. Continuously hits the opponent until Kat stops spinning.
  • Gravity Typhoon: The projection of a stasis field around Kat's body which allows her to bombard the enemy with heavy rocks, dumpsters, anything that's around in the environment really.
  • Micro Black Hole: Kat becomes a glob of purple and black. Her center of gravity pulls nearby enemies inward. They float into the air as they're constantly bombarded by heavy winds and black orbs. The field extends past Kat's body about thirty or fourty feet.
  • Hand-to-Hand: More like foot to foot but Kat's main weapon is actually her feet. She also hits hard. Not superhuman strength hard, but HARD.
• Backstory: An amnesiac girl that woke up in a park in the city of Auldnoir. Instead of brooding around trying to find her memories, Kat instead started to look for things to do around the city. She felt at home in a sewer pipe with just a chair, a bed and some cloth. As time went on she found herself saving the lives of the citizens and helping out the local police department with various cases.
• Faction: Affliciated with the UMMA.

Abilities: Magic user/Psionic. As a spellcaster, he's mostly combat-oriented, using elemental spells. As a psionic, he's much better at telekinesis than at telepathy.

• Personality: Girugako is haughty and arrogant, believing that she owns anything and everything as part of her kingdom. She believes she is far better and that she is 'royalty', a Queen of Heroes. Girugako never uses her full power in a fight, believing that very few people are worthy of seeing her true power. She feels that the most many opponents are worth is a shower of weapons from her golden treasury. Girugako maintains that the only reason she does not claim her possessions("everything in existence") from others is that it us amusing to allow people to believe that they own her property, provided they do not take anything from her golden treasury. If they do so, she believes they are defiling it. Girugako genuinely wishes to protect people as a magical girl, surprisingly, though she claims it is only because they are part of her kingdom. She has no friends, mostly due to her haughty attitude, leaving her surprisingly lonely. Silently, she wishes to have someone to call her equal and a friend, though she would never admit to having such a desire. Girugako has a strange interest in her fellow Magical Girl, Magical Saber. She strongly desires to claim Magical Saber as a treasure of her own, and Magical Saber is one of the few people she believes is worthy of tasting some of the power of her true Noble Phantasm, Ea.
• Abilities/Weapons: Girugako possesses the Gate of Babylon, a golden treasury containing all the greatest treasures in the world, including every possible Noble Phantasm save those that are not physical and a very few others. It also stores wine(Girugako claims she drinks it all the time) and endlessly-regenerating meat. While she is an intelligent fighter, she is not a particularly skilled swordsman and prefers to avoid melee combat. Her arrogance also limits her fighting prowess, as she will not use much of her power unless she believes the opponent is worthy of it. The golden dress that serves as her magical girl outfit is in fact an extremely strong armor which can defend her from some magical attacks and weapons. She wields two "true" Noble Phantasms. First, Ea: Sword of Rupture◊. A weapon possessed only by Girugako, it is the first sword. It is capable of firing a reality-tearing attack known as "Enuma Elish". At full power, Ea can destroy an entire planet in a single shot. However, Girugako has no desire to use its full power and will use only part of its power if she even draws Ea. The second of her true Noble Phantasms is Enkidu: Chains of Heaven◊(the chains, not the person). A chain of infinite length, Enkidu is nothing but normal chains to a human being. To a being of divine status, Enkidu is the perfect bind. Of course, almost anyone in the RP will only be faced with bladespam from the gate, or maybe a fully-drawn Noble Phantasm that falls far short of Ea or Enkidu.
• Backstory: Comes from a universe where Nasuverse characters are all magical girls, stuff happened.
• Faction: Financial Backer for the UMMA. For purposes of her own amusement, largely.

I made this guy based on an OC I made from my current fanfiction writings. I don't know if this'll work, in which case I'll use an AU John Reese from Person of Interest.

• Name: Mark Chen

• Appearance: Sorry, gonna have to steal his face for this.

• Universe of Origin: A hybrid universe consisting of Martin Mystery and the Resident Evil series. No universe number though.
• Personality: Although he's nice, he can be quite the deadpan snarker depending on the situation. He's also willing to go the extra mile to give a hand to someone, whether it's family/friends/someone in danger while risking his life. Being a Bruneian citizen of Chinese origin, he is sensitive to matters that concern his fellow Overseas Chinese anywhere in the world if they are being mistreated or if they don't have the proper rights, depending on the country they're from, considering the situation of ethnic Chinese in Brunei. Being a newly recruited agent to the UMMA, he is a bit concerned that he may be one of the few who rely on technology like small arms and computers to do his work since he has heard of agents who have skills that surpass beyond the ordinary human.
• Abilities/Weapons:
  • Mark can speak Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin with enough Cantonese (to get around) and some Hokkien. To be honest, he will not admit that he prefers English than the other four languages. He lacks a Malay accent when he speaks English (and most of the time, Cantonese) thanks to his time in America, which gave him a California accent. The Malay accent comes back a bit when he speak Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin and Hokkien.
  • Knowledgeable in paranormal/supernatural matters, thanks to his time with the Center. He can also use advanced technological devices like the Watches issued to him, after you tell him how to use it.
  • From his time in SHADOW and in the BSAA, he had been familiar with handling most small arms and close quarter combat.
  • Can conduct unarmed combat or with a handheld weapon.
  • Favors driving motorbikes over cars and SUVs, although he is familiar with driving the latter two.
  • A Remington ACR (16.5" barrel) for his main weapon and a Heckler & Koch P30 as a sidearm.
  • Depending on a mission, he could bring along a radio with an earpiece.
• Backstory: Born in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei to a Bruneian Chinese family, he was an ordinary student studying in Chung Hwa Middle School when he was recruited by the Center, a worldwide anti-paranormal/supernatural agency. Following some successful investigations, Mark was recruited into a new division of the Center called SHADOW*
  Specialist Hazard Agent Designated Operations Wing
  , which consists of armed agents trained to investigate and resolve paranormal/supernatural incidents that have a criminal/terrorist element in it. When Mark was in his middle 20s (and having graduated from university in the United States with a Political Science Degree after leaving SHADOW), he was recruited to the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance as a Special Operations Agent. Thanks to recommendations from his superiors, Mark was selected to be recruited to the BSAA's Special Operations Unit. Barely a few days after his training, he was ordered to be assigned to the BSAA's Far East Division to be deployed to Lanshiang, China due to a bioterrorist attack perpetrated by members of Neo-Umbrella. Among the things he did was to conduct evacuation of foreign nationals out of Lanshiang's downtown core and provide backup to various SOU teams including the North American Division's Alpha Team. There, Mark placed his Mandarin/Cantonese/Hokkien skills to use, being one of the few SOU operators who liaised with the Lanshiang Police Force and People's Liberation Army forces assigned to the city during the siege. While he was promoted due to his actions in ending Neo-Umbrella's Chinese activities, Mark was chosen again to serve in the Unified Multiversal Moderation Agency thanks to an agreement worked out between the Center, BSAA and the UMMA.*
  Although he is with the UMMA, his official cover is that he is still a BSAA SOU operator.
  The other reason was because of his familiarity with investigating and resolving extraordinary incidents that have a criminal/terrorist element. His field codename is Skyblade, which he used when he was SHADOW before it was carried over to the BSAA and to the UMMA.

  • Purple Heart: Much of Neptune's airheadiness is gone along with her previously immature behavior. Much more serious in combat and something of a Blood Knight against tough opponents. Very level-headed when it comes to fighting and shades of Neptune show while she's even in this form.

  • Neptune: A broadsword and an automatic handgun.
  • Purple Heart: Large black claymore.
• Abilities:
  • Neptune: Skilled fighter with her sword and gun. Nothing notable about her save for her quick thought and movement.
  • Purple Heart: Capable of sustained flight. Super strength and super speed (air mobility). High endurance (capable of taking a beating and still stand to fight).
• Backstory: Neptune is the Goddess, or rather, CPU of Planeptune. She handles the affairs of state which are pretty much sales and the government. She's not exactly the ideal ruler but she gets the job done.

• Personality: Alice is quite the polite, calm, clever girl and also a bit of a Deadpan Snarker. She's also a loner, always staying away from other people and often seen with just her dolls, however, she isn't afraid of talking with others, she just likes to be alone and doesn't have much interest in conversation, she's studious and very devoted to her magic studies, often spending all of her time with magical experiments and developing battle strategies, which often involve magic. While not very competitive herself, she's always up to a challenge so she can test her new strategies, despite that, she never goes all out and always hold back a little, because she's afraid of the possibility of her losing when going at full power.
  • Being the strategist that she is, Alice does not appreciate winning battles with brute force and doesn't appreciate people who do that too, she also engages in conversations with her own dolls at times and tends to make it difficult to know if they're sentient or not, in actuality she's just talking to herself for her own amusement and despite being a bit of a loner, she's kind enough to use her dolls to make little theatric shows with her dolls for kids to watch, making her quite an odd person.
• Ability/Weapons: Alice's dolls are her weapons, they can do a multitude of things like shooting bullets at the enemy, fire lasers, stab them with lances, slice them with small blades and even act as human shields for Alice herself, who, while controlling them, also assists with her own magic by doing things like making them invisible, she can also fly despite not having any logical means to do so, though she probably flies using magic and she also has a short range teleport. The dolls also have powder inside them and can be used as bombs enhanced by Alice's magic. Among Alice large arsenal of attacks the most notable ones are usually done with the help of a little card, called Spell Card, these are:
  • Magipulation "Return Inanimateness" - Alice throws one doll at the opponent that explodes on contact, it makes an enormous blue explosion that may also hit things that are above the area where the doll exploded, Alice can also throw multiple dolls to spread the damage around the area, and any dolls that hit walls or something of that kind will make a large explosion backwards instead of up.
  • Curse Sign "Shanghai Doll" - One of Alice's doll fires a large purple laser straight at the enemy.
    • Curse "Hourai Doll" - The same as above, but done with more dolls that spin in a circle, covering a bigger area.
  • Trooper "Suicide Squad" - Alice makes many dolls show behind her that fire themselves at the opponent like homing missiles, exploding on contact.
  • Dolls "Lemmings' Parade" - Alice sends a huge crowd of dolls running against the opponent, all of them grabbing the opponent and detonating immediatelly after, one of Alice's deadliests Spell Cards.
  • Testing "Level Titania" - Alice makes two of her dolls giant with her magic and they start attacking the opponents with their basic attacks as dolls, Alice may also call other, smaller dolls to assist the bigger ones
    • Testing "Goliath Doll" - Alice turns one of her dolls into a much bigger one than the ones on the spell above, said doll also carries two huge swords that can slice pretty much anything apart, however the doll has the tendency to explode after some time due to still being in the experimental phase.
  • Alice also carries a grimoire with her with many powerful elemental spells, but she never uses it.
• Backstory: Alice was originally a young human magician that lived in the demon world, Makai, and upon losing in battle once, despite giving her all, she searched for a way of getting more power, she got a mysterious magical grimoire that contained many different and powerful elemental spells and went for a rematch against the one who defeated her and ended up losing yet again even giving her all. Alice dissappeared for some time, but once she appeared in the world of Gensokyo, she was looking much older than before, looking like a teen, and had turned into a youkai, a witch to be specific, she still carries the grimoire with her, but she locked it and never used it again. She currently lives in a magical forest in Gensokyo and has a goal of making a perfectly independent doll.
  • Upon being recruited as an Agent, Alice originally wasn't too fond of the idea, but once she gave it some thought, she came to the conclusion that by going to different universes she could learn things that would be otherwise impossible to know in the world of Gensokyo, so she accepted the offer to become an Agent for research purposes, looking for someone or something that can be useful for her magical studies and for her goal of making an independent doll.

Ive been thinking of using an alternate character. How about this?

• Name:Rom
• Age: over 200 years old
• Gender: male
• Appearance: see [1]
• Canon, Alternative, or OC?: Canon
• Universe of Origin: Earth-616 (main Marvel universe)
• Personality: Like an (idealized) Knight: dedicated to protecting innocents, has a strong sense of honor, yet also humble and quiet. Occasionally melancholic. But do NOT kill innocents under his watch, or he'll hunt you to the (literal) ends of the universe.
• Abilities/Weapons: Rom's spaceknight armor (surgically grafted to his body) allows him to breath in space, fly across interstellar distances, makes him superstrong and protects him from all but the strongest physical attacks. He can also summon his equipment (stored in subspace):
  • The Analyzer: Allows Rom to see the true form of a transformed target. It can also track certain types of energy.
  • The Neutralizer: This weapon has three settings. One is a beam that banishes the target to Limbo (which he will not to do anything but the vilest foes, such as the Wraiths.) The second is a beam that cancels normal forms of energy (it would dispel, say, radiation, but not magic.) The final is a more typical blaster-beam. Technically it has a fourth setting, which is really releasing all three effects at once.
  • The Translator: Exactly what it sounds like, it allows Rom to learn languages (and read books) instantly.
• Backstory: Rom was a young man from the planet Galador. 200 years ago, Galador was threatened by an invading fleet of the evil, shape-shifting Dire Wraiths. The planet's ruler asked for volunteers to be cybernetically transformed into Spaceknights to battle the fleet; Rom was the first to accept, inspiring many others. Although they won, the Wraiths escaped and infiltrated many other worlds (including Earth.) Rom swore he would not reclaim his humanity until the Wraith menace had been expunged from the universe. (For our purposes, this is an alternate version of Rom who followed some wraiths out into the multiverse. He won't return home until he has banished them all to limbo.)
• Faction: Technically none, but may join with the UMMA if they will help him find the Wraiths.
