Holy shit they’re finally doing something with the Squadron, the concept seems good, and it’s even a half decent reason to be reusing the title
I actually feel... hype?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersA world without the Avengers?
Oy, that's a scary thought. You just know something will come along and make everyone get dunked on...
Although i don't see why Wakanda would be seen as a myth in a world without the Avengers since Black Panther's first appearance was in Fantastic Four.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Early on Wakanda kept its technology secret by having their cities built underground with stereotypical “primitive tribes” keeping up appearances surface level
I guess the argument is that Black Panther joining the Avengers was the start of Wakanda becoming more public, with him hanging around in New York so much
His interactions with the FF tended to be more secret
And it was retconned during I wanna say Priest’s run that T’Challa joined the Avengers to determine whether they’d be a threat to Wakanda or not and the Squadron Supreme wouldn’t be about to let him pull the same trick so he’d likely keep Wakanda laying low maybe?

Forever liveblogging the AvengersDo we even know if the ff or x men still exist. We know spider man doesn't. If its everyone who was an avenger never got their powers or origin or whatnot well all the ff has been avengers
That'd be a problem considering how most major heroes have been Avengers at some point, including members of other teams.
Wake me up at your own risk.We do know that at least Logan leads a Canadian team and Reed and Ben are part of SHIELD.

I just now realized in Taskmaster 2, Coulson outed Tasky by being a total comic gatekeeper. He considered him suspicious & not a true fan simply because he disagreed with his picks and didn’t recognize him in the store.
He really is evil.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I wonder what the Hulk Heroes Reborn teaser meant.
He was only an Avenger for a short while, so it can't see how the Avengers not existing would affect him all that much.
If anything, he'd be happier since the Avengers wouldn't be around to hound him.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Like Al Ewing says, he always feels more at home with a "non-team" like the Defenders.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"So I just hear of this Heroes Reborn thing and I have to ask...
You jest, but it sounds like we have Coulson and Mephisto to blame.
And even then, given who Mephisto is, I got half a mind to assume he's playing Coulson like a goddamn fiddle and will eventually pull the rug under him, thus stressing the point that yes, the world does need Avengers.
Hmm. I wonder if the ass-whooping Mephisto will inevitably get here will tie in to him when Spider-Man confronts him about OMD later on and get absolutely livid.

Oh, is this what all Meph's mysterious recent appearances have been building up to? Huh.
Any more news on the Reckoning war, too?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Call it a hunch. Lately, we've been getting some heavy nods to OMD over on Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man run.
Some preview material for Marvel Voices has been released, confirming the stories and creative teams. Personally, I'm looking forward to John Ridley's Miles Morales story.
I'm surprised Ngozi from the Venomverse one-shots is getting one.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The way I see it, Nnedi Okorafor gets to write whatever she wants. If that means a character who only ever showed up in a one-shot? Well, you know it's still going to be an awesome story.
Also, I love that Stephanie Williams' story gets Natacha Bustos on line art. That story's going to be great. Williams and Bustos will work so well together.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. Its just ya know surprising. Not a bad surprise of course, just a legitimate wow moment.
At the very least she is already one of the more interesting characters introduced in Venomverse by virtue of not being an already existing character with a Venom skin.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."In Fantastic Four#28
The Griever tortures the FF with their demises in a possible future. An older Sue is imprisoned in her own force field by Doctor Doom, The Thing is broken up by a new Rapture (unrelated to the one that works for the Contingency), and as for Reed? He's killed at some point by Ben himself!
I'm growing tired of the whole god of death and destruction thing Marvel has going on. Griever has to be the worst of the recent death and destruction gods. Nyx, Knull, and the One Below All all have a Myth Arc of some kind. I feel like we're missing an entire arc dedicated to why she is significant and unique from the others. She just shows up and blasts stuff apart. At least the One Below All's justification is that he's the dark reflection of all of reality and Knull rewrote the lore of the symbiotes. Nyx ties into the Olympian lore with the whole making children of the night thing.
Griever just goes in and trashes the place. The difference between an Eldritch Abomination of destruction and a destructive teenager high on Pixy Stix is the lore surrounding them.
I mean, isn't the fact that Griever can only wreck shit a big thing about her.
Reed was actually able to outplay her because she can't create, only destroy. So he called in everyone who'd ever been part of the FF (which started the whole Iceman was a part of the FF Noodle Incident).
Huh. Between the original X-Men, the original X-Factor, the original Champions, the Defenders, and now the FF as reveal via retcon, Iceman is now officially the X-man who's been part of the most teams.
That's pretty damned impressive.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, I count X-Men and OG!X-Factor as the same unit. If it looks like an X-Men team, walks like an X-men team, and quacks like an X-Men team, then it's an X-Men team
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundWhat do you think it happened with the Four to make Johhny so touchy about it?
Wake me up at your own risk.
So Heroes Reborn 2: Electric Boogaloo is a Squadron Supreme story.
