-Claps hands after reading the song.-

Excellent job! I'll edit the song in right away.

As for Falkon wanting Mira to be sorted into Ravenclaw, it would depend on how many of the other First Years get sorted into Ravenclaw. If two of them get into Ravenclaw, then Mira can't be a Ravenclaw. But if only one First Year gets into Ravenclaw, then it's a possibility. And have a great day at the theme park Falkon!

Without further adieu, I'll start sorting the other First Years.

Yay~

Anyway, it appears like, from the one's I know which house they'll be sorted into, only one, Jonathan will be Ravenclaw, while Susan I don't know, and Leah is going to be Slytherin or Hufflepuff, probably Slytherin, as des pointed out it would fit her better, so I don't see any reason not to make Mira a Ravenclaw...

The chance of Susan being Ravenclaw is 50/50; the other 50 being Gryffindor or Slytherin. daltar messaged me about this.

...And Sarah does look good for Ravenclaw as well...

Hmmm in that case you might bump the chance that Susan will end up as a Slythering in place of a Ravenclaw. Might be a tad more dramatic for her since right now she doesn't like Slythering all that much.

EDIT: Woops, too late. Also, she would have ended up as a Ravenclaw anyway it seem by the roll.

Susan's a Ravenclaw. Unfortunately for Falkon, I won't be putting Mira in Ravenclaw. However, if Falkon wants Mira in Gryffindor or Slytherin, I would be more than willing to change Mira's house to one of those houses.

I'd give Mira a 50/50 chance with Gryffindor and Hufflepuff if she can't be Ravenclaw...

Why is Ravenclaw so popular?

It attracts the bookish, nerdy portion of the fandom. After all, the house motto is "wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure".

I dunno, but with two First Years in it, and one in Slytherin, it's tied for the most members in a house with Slytherin.

Well, I'd certainly end up in Ravenclaw if I'd ever go to Hogwarts; that's why Vivian's there, too.

Ehehe I was kind of hoping for Slythering, but Susan does seem more like a Ravenclaw. Griffindor would have been good too but almost nobody is there.

Is it alright if I put up a list of who's in what house for quick reference?

Go ahead!

@daltar: If you want Susan in another house, that can be arranged.

Okay!

Gryffindor:

Ravenclaw:

Vivian Wetherford
Jonathan Rose
Susan Miller

Hufflepuff:

Alister Clark
Charlie Clemens
William "Mira" Cetus (currently)

Slytherin:

Hayley Ivyleaf
Edward IV Johnson
Leonard Archibald

As of yet unsorted:

Leah Williams

I think that's right...

[up][up] Cool!

Now, there's something I've been wondering about the House Sorting. As people get older, their personality changes, adapts and evolves. Often to the point of ending up a completely different person all together.

Although I'm in my older teens and would be placed in Slytherin, if I were sorted at the age of 11, I would probably be put in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor instead.

Do you think that students are being sorted at too young an age? Dumbledore seems to think so.

I think that the House personality traits (Griffyndor's bravery, Ravenclaw's intelligence, etc) are more like guidelines than actual rules.

Thing is, with me some of my traits took a while to come into their own. And looking back at the person I was when I was 11, I'm barely recognisable. No way could I have been a Slytherin at the age of 11.

And I wonder if it's the same with other people as well?

[up] Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff are pretty balanced, but no Gryffindors.
