It apparently has to do with mouth-to-mouth CPR, and often the recipient waking up at that moment, not actual kissing (magical or mundane).

I think a name like Its Not Kissing Its CPR would work.

"Kiss of Life" is a term used casually outside the wiki for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. It's listed in both the Harper-Collins and American Heritage dictionaries, as well as in the American Heritage /Stedman's Medical dictionary. Just throwing that out there.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.

Okay, but this is more that it's either mistaken for kissing, or uses to set up actual kissing (which is actually two tropes anyway).

It's CPR, without the chest compressions.

I know that. The page doesn't show it that way.

I'm stating at least something has to be done.

You know it can overlap with CPR: Clean, Pretty, Reliable, right?

I'm not convinced we should be concerned about anything here.

Rhymes with "Protracted."

There's a difference between overlapping and having the elements of the other trope, but not the trope it's supposed to be covering.
