I kind of like The Highlander Solution, too. It's clever, not just a reference.

As a redirect, it's good. For the trope name, I don't like it. Highlander isn't omnipresent enough in pop culture, and has other meanings.

AFAIK, the immortal characters in Highlander are The Ageless and unkillable except by chopping off their heads. Doing so lets you steal one's immortality and power. Because otherwise how would 700-year-old badasses have an excuse to run around with swords instead of guns?
