Finally got the Chansey swarm tonight! Dream team of Compound Eyes Venonat, Frisk Stantler, and my beloved Pidgeot whom I taught Thief to for this very occasion helped me get the Lucky Egg I needed :D Also got a hold of a second DSi from Cash Converters earlier so now all I need is a copy of HeartGold and/or Platinum and I can do the trade evolutions on my second run.
