Damn, now I really wish Miku kept her own Symphogear. She and Hibiki would be the best Battle Couple ever. XD

I hadn't seen it before. But yeah, not exactly recent.

And hey, Miku and Hibiki kissing or having a totally unambiguous "I love you" scene is still my top most wanted Thing for the rest of the season now that we have Mikugear

The other two things I want to see are the return of Ver and a Genjuro/Tsubasa Unison.

I want someone to punch Fudou.

The thing I would like most to happen in this season is for the final battle to have Synchrogazer as its soundtrack.

No thanks, Synchrogazer isn't even that good.

It's probably my second favourite after AXZ's Testament but I just like the idea of the symbolism of using the the first opening for the climax of the entire show.

GX's opening is my favorite. AXZ and XV have great build ups but their pop offs aren't as good.

Exterminate is pretty hype.

Also, part of the problem with using Synchrogazer is that we've already had a Synchrogazer attack.

I'll do you one better - I want Fudou to be the Final Boss. Possibly without him being Easily Forgiven. Or at all.

Making him the final boss would require buffing him. Honestly, I'd rather Genjuro or even an untransformed Hibiki just flattened him. It'd be more appropriate than feeding his delusions first.

And here comes the episode preview images. So, we have the return of Hibiki's father since the first time since GX, Genjuro looks like he's going to punch it, and Fudou is making a disturbing face. As ever, one of the images vibrates on hovering over it... it's the creepy face. Previous amusing candidates include "Hibiki's reaction to Vanessa's breast missiles".

Watch out for twitter, spoiler images from the japanese release of 9 are out.

Lets just say that Genjuro wearing an Akuma Cosplay way back in the first season is quite a bit of foreshadowing for Fudou's fighting style and power set, and Tsubasa's Almagalm has her doing the Edward Elric clap as well.

ep 9:

Tsubasa is basically a Lancer at this point, ie, Being Tsubasa is suffering. And They even managed to redeem Top Dad, to my surprise. And Fudo is pretty batshit insane, as if it wasn't obvious already, but him being able to fight a season 5 tier symphogear and even block a strike from the amalgalm Tsubasa, even if it destroyed his sword, is quite the feat. Probably could have fought Fine on his own and win, at least prior to her Beast of revelation form.

I mean, what we also really learned from that is that Genjuro is way too soft-hearted. That's the second time you've lost a fight you were about to win because someone got you to hesitate, old man. Though the first thing he did was also to get the sword off Fudou, and since he called it the Murakumo... okay, apparently he was just using the Kusanagi. Sure, why not.

Noble Red: continuing to ruin everything, this time maybe dying in the process. Good job, you idiots.

Oh, and let's see: the subtext in the beginning is reaching the point of sillines...

And the post credits scene... the moon is doing something? Being a beacon? I don't know. It's alarming.

Noble Red? More like Noble Ded, get dunked on

the moon is resonating with Shem-Ha's Power Aura, probably. The base not just being Sheshou-Jing, but a Faust Robe version of it is even more terrifying then the basic relic. Fudou may have actually made Shem-ha stronger then before because of that.

Anyone else thinking we might get a Movie after the season ends as an epilogue of sorts? I can see it happening, what with this being the last Tv season of the series. Its still far too popular to just go away forever. Maybe even have a Nanoha Strikers esque sequel with anew generation of Gear users being mentored by the older ones.

I'm just wondering who the hell made a Faust Robe out of it to hand over to Shem Ha. Being dead does not, at this point, really preclude anyone we know of from having being responsible. Since that's literally every alchemist, plus Finé, plus Adam, and also Ver.

A sequel of some sort is possible, but hopefully not with the same characters? This seems like it's trying to wrap things up.

True, but it doesn't mean they can't be gone forever. They'll all still be at Symphogear Live 2020, of course.

i thought when they announced this season they announced a movie along with it or smth

Boy, that escalated quickly on multiple levels. Noble Red or Noble Dead. That is the question now!

And man, the Kazanari family are all kinds of extra. Now we know where the commander and Tsubasa got it. But that old man needs to suffer, and suffer horribly for being such complete garbage.

Genjuro will probably want the same fate for Fudo as Dr. Ver. To actually be arrested and judged under the law. Shem-ha will probably kill him anyway as insolence for trying to control her.

Noble Red or Noble Dead... either way, they've Noble Bled.
