@Spark 9: You're taking JAFAAC's name too literally. And no, there isn't any context. The trope is "character dies in one hit," not "character dies." Some of them aren't even shown dying. Either way, no indication of "dies in one hit" is given by the image nor the caption. So keeping it is a lousy idea.

I don't think being knocked down to 1 HP is this trope. That would be a separate one (as there are attacks that do that in some games).
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. You can't heal from it at all it's a sequence where you are stuck in this trope till you progressin the plot, there are more than a few examples on the page.
It is not HP to One.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Oh, didn't realize we had that already. We should mention this on the TRS thread though.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It is poor. But many people think it's good enough to keep. You can't just pull an image because you think it's Just A Face And A Caption. There are several outstanding disputes of that.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.OK, whatever. I jumped the gun. But for the record, 3 tropers =/= many people, so don't make that claim.

No-wait pulls are zero objections*, though. 3 > 0. Should have said "several", not "many", but still.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I made a single-prop crowner for pulling the image.
Stapled it to the thread.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffAs much as I like the image, it does not show the number of hitpoints. I'd say pull.

I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn! This sort of image may work. If not necessarily this particular image, then one like it. The image shows the character dying, but also shows the life meter in the shot: a single greyed-out heart. An image like this, showing a life meter of only one, may work.
The presence of a life meter implies that the character dies in more than one hit, making it worse than the current one.
The life meter in that game gets more standard usage in normal mode. In hard mode, it's only the single heart as shown. Though admittedly, I'm not sure how people would feel about an image for a game where the character is not a one hit point wonder in normal mode.
But again, maybe an image conveying something similar to this, with an obvious life meter of only one.

Any Daredevil challenge from Super Mario Galaxy? Normally Mario gets a 3-slice pie chart for his HP, but for the Daredevil challenges his HP meter is an undivided red circle labelled "1" (and always onscreen).
Other shots where the character's Life Meter explicitly says 1 / 1 HP might work, but that's probably the only way we could picture it.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.That, I think, might work.
here, someone take a screenshot of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTOhBL05Io0
Seems like a winner.
The caption should be "Dodge"

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!This crowner should be ready to call, the consensus is clear.
Is Shedinja really that freaking weak? 1 HP even at level 20? I mean... WOW! That's definitely a great picture showing exactly what we need.
Except it's not really this trope. It actually has a Life Meter, but an exceptionally low one.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It has 1 hp at level 99. [1].
It is very much this trope.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Again, it has a Life Meter, just a small one.
And it's not a player character, as Pokemon doesn't work that way.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Wait, so is Shedinja a OHPW or not?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.
Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
The image says "You die in Video Games" it says literally nothing about this trope at all.
Vote pull.
Anyway DQZ got access to say Screens of Dragon Quest VI? If ya could grab a screen of the status screen after you get the Pegasus it would work well.
