Unlikely, though I wouldn't rule out a wind powered person meeting Elsa,we can call them Sora
It's times like these that Disney gives us more details what is happening.
I can't believe how excited I am for this. I didnt even like the first one that much.
Mulan nothing — you remember Frozen's first trailer?
Come see the antics of a living snowman and his reindeer buddy! Sisters? What sisters?
At least Mulan took actual movie clips and dialogue, just set to epic music and out of context.
Her parents were lost at sea, and then she found out Ariel's dad commands the seas. They haven't been on speaking terms since.

Then again Triton wasn't on good terms with humans before Ariel married Eric.
"Hey kids! Remember how this used to be based on a Hans Christian Anderson story? ... we don't! Let's write a sequel that disassociates itself even MORE from it!"
... how is Olaf not melting without his personal snow flurry?
I'm very confused by the whole thing. It looks drastically different in tone than the first film.
So why is Elsa trying to run across the ocean?
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. We don't know. Probably practicing her powers so she can become even stronger after a depression.
Depression? I hope there isn't a Happy Ending Override involved.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Looking back at the trailer, it seems more like she is trying to find a way to get through that humongous wave (going over it, through it, freezing it...) than using her powers in an original way. Combined with her resolute expression and Anna struggling on a similar rock, I had been wondering whether they had been separated from a shipwreck or something, and Elsa was trying to get back to her sister.
That, or Elsa is indeed using the ocean as her personal Danger Room.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.I think they get separated, and Elsa has to cross the ocean waves to reach Anna (who after some desperation is determined to find her way and heads for the spooky cave).
From what I've seen I'm not too worried about an explicit Happy Ending Override. At the very least Elsa still has control over her powers and her relationship with her sister is still intact. Getting control over her powers and repairing her relationship with her sister were very significant points in the first film's happy ending.
The only risk of a partial Happy Ending Override is if Elsa has to do with why she's left Arendelle with only her sister, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven. Since that calls into question of if she is still Queen.
To take a shot in the dark, I think she is still Queen and left Arendelle with a larger expedition, but got shipwrecked and separated from everyone else when they were close to their destination. The "running across the ocean" scene is one of the things Elsa does to find her sister and company.

That would make sense.
Now I really, really hope they will not give Elsa a love interest. Yes, I know, nothing in the trailer hints at this, but we are not even sure that whatever we see in this trailer actually belongs to the movie (though it would be a really dickish move if Elsa's awesome "fight" with the wave was not in the movie after all).
I'm finding myself trying to analyse this trailer as if it was one of the Avengers movies.

And yes, if they can avoid the obligatory love interest for Elsa, that'd be cool. I know there are people who'd like Disney to turn the perceived "coming-out" allegory of the first film into a literal coming-out in the sequel, but acknowledging that not everyone wants to fall in love and get married would be novel too.

Well Moana went through her whole movie with not so much as a reference to a love interest (unless I was really inattentive), so there's some hope there.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.There was indeed no love interest in Moana.
Oh God! Natural light! The talking volcano in Moana reminded me of this ad

New theme music also a box&Yeah, the closest thing to it was that one kid who was crushing on her during the hula scene. And was trying too hard to be cool and get her attention. XD
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Oh yeah… reminds me that I still haven't watched that one. >.>
We always have to remember that this footage might very well be test animation in the same vein as the "That's no blizzard that's my sister" bit from the first movie's teasers.
The cold never bothered me anywayThe way Olaf and Elsa are surrounded by heart shaped mist leads to suspect the villain might be someone with love/affection based powers
New theme music also a boxI hope this villain is female.
Someone fit the Avengers theme over the teaser and it fits so well!
Maybe an antagonistic force is coming and they have to round other members to fight.
