Not a very strong image: Death Glare

I have no idea how good of an example this is, but it's weak on the whole "I am going to kill you for whatever reason aspect of the trope." The character does look mildly creepy, but he does lack the obvious anger or annoyance that most of the examples have.

I would even go out on a limb to say he looks "questioning" more than anything else.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement?

I think it communicates "I don't like you" very well. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

I dunno, for a live-action picture it really conveys the trope's feel well IMO. In favour of keeping.

Hmm. The current image doesn't look 'deathy' enough for a Death Glare to me.

How so?

Unlike most of the examples listed, this one doesn't really show the anger or annoyance that trigger this reaction.

The image isn't bad, its weak. A better image would probably have aspects less subtle, almost exaggerated.

I've always thought this one was kinda weak. If I (or someone else) can find a good pic of Gibbs from NCIS doing one of his, that would be great.

I'll say Keep Until Better Image Suggested. It gets the basic idea across well enough that there's no reason to pull it, but there are probably better pics out there.

My google-fu hasn't really found any good pictures of Gibbs from NCIS giving the glare, or even of him angry.

He looks more disgusted (in an "eeew" way, not a "you sicken me" way - the latter might actually work for the trope) then anything else there, to be honest.

IMO no one pulls off a better death glare than Jotaro Kujo

Okay then, so I'll throw in a suggestion. Maybe a side-by-side comparison of those two pics from the Dating Sim Tokimeki Memorial 2? One where Akane Ichimonji is happy towards you, and one where she does her Death Glare at you when angry:

I am fine with the current one....

The only thing I can think of to improve it is if there is a reaction in the scene by another person. (In a "you are scaring me here" type way.)

Haruhi one looks more like "I'm staring into your soul" than an angry look, and Kusano Kouichi one looks more like she's bored.
