Really? I've played the single player campaign three times over now, and I've yet to see an actual cop car patrolling the city. Sure, there's like two parked on the interstate highway, and a few around the police stations, but that's it. There are simply none to be found driving around.
I could have sworn I opened fire on a hostile civilian once, only to be immediately busted by the police because he happened to walk around the corner.... Maybe he spawned in upon me firing the gun?
I think I've seen the odd cop walk around, too, but never one in a car.
Also, why does R* hate roleplaying? They've blacklisted the police uniform in freeroam. Police uniforms kept from glitching during missions that put you in police uniforms have been removed from peoples inventories and the exploits to get them have been patched.
My police stripper-gram fantasy nooooo.....
Beats me. Grand Theft Auto III had a cheat code that let you swap between NPC models. Including a police officer. And an old lady.
V also limits the immortal cheat code for some reason. These all seem like anti fun features to me.
I'm really appreciating the fact that the new nightclubs will have male dancer options -w-
Thanks, Rockstar it's all I ever wanted. That, and a rocket jet. Can I have that too, please?
Isn't there already a rocket jet? Or do you mean a boat?
Now you HAVE your jetpack, and you still want more.

solo money making is now easier than ever. awesome.
What do you mean?
The nightclub accumulates cargo that you don't need to resupply, the Terrorbyte lets you launch resupply missions for your other businesses from literally anywhere, and you can summon it to within feet of yourself. It's really really easy to maintain your property now.
GTAV may very well be at the cheapest price I've ever seen it online... $19.79 USD on Steam. Guess the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be sucking up the resources previously used for adding content to GTA Online.
Still, that's a good price, might be a good idea to jump on the offer... or wait until the Halloween sale, I'd bet the cost might go even lower after RDR 2 comes out.

Yeah, it's cheap because the base price has been lowered, but the sale reduction percentaje isn't actually that good, I've seen it better several times.
More cash for GTA Online:
Just for logging into GTA Online between now and October 15, you'll get GTA$300,000 delivered to your Maze Bank account next week, by October 22. You can log right back out if you want, and you'll still get the bonus cash. In addition to the money, you'll also instantly unlock a Green Wireframe Body Suit for free (it looks kind of creepy, but hey, it's October).
That's not all, though—here's another big one. If you've already completed the Stone Hatchet and Double-Action Revolver challenges, you'll get an additional GTA$250,000 simply for logging in. But if you haven't completed those challenges yet and you beat them this week, you'll receive GTA$250,000 for each one. Better yet, you'll get another bonus of GTA$250,000 for each of those challenges next week, for a grand total of GTA$1 million.
Also between now and October 15, all four remixed Adversary Modes are rewarding double GTA$ and RP. That means you'll get a nice boost for playing Hunting Pack (Remix), Trading Places (Remix), Running Back (Remix), and Sumo (Remix). In addition, if you own a Nightclub, you'll get double Nightclub income all week long.
Finally, pre-ordering any digital edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store gets you GTA$1,000,000 in GTA Online; all you have to do is log into GTA Online by October 15 to get it. And if you've already pre-ordered the game from either online store, just log in before October 15, and you'll get the same bonus. That cash will be deposited into your Maze Bank account between October 16-22.
In other GTA Online news, this week finds three new cars coming to the Southern San Andreas Super Autos catalog. They're the Karin Futo, Bollokan Prairie, and Imponte Ruiner. New liveries are also available for those cars, as well as for the Maibatsu Penumbra, Declasse Mamba, and Invetero Coquette Classic. You can find even more of this week's GTA Online news on the Rockstar blog.
Nice. I've been preoccupied lately with Odyssey tho....
Is anyone else having issues with the music in the club? It keeps giving glithces on my speakers, like electric interference. It ONLY happens with that music.
Hackers have managed to hack single player in GTA V. Though it has been patched over the weekend, geeze, Rockstar, your online security sucks. Like, really bad.

i only skimmed through the article, but i wonder if this exploit and another that enabled somebody to put out a fake GTA 6 announcement in-game
are based off of the same (or at least a similar) exploit. both of them took advantage of a loophole in Social Club security.
Bumping this due to a new update and due to how this (again) is the only thread on the game. I honestly hate resurrecting threads for this sole reason that it is the the only one relevant, and because of last time. I have a feeling I may be wrong. Moving on...
A new update came out for the game called Arena War. Definitely has won me back over since the After Hours drought. What is new this time? More Vehicular Combat and even one set of Wacky Racing.
Also, Frickin' Laser Beams are a weapon available (and to be available).
There is one vehicle with a flamethrower (three variants actually), but to be expected, it’s not all that practical.
Is it as useless as the flamethrower car in Saints Row 3?
Why is research so ridiculously slow? It takes FOREVER. And half the research is camo paint...

Sounds about right. We've got the big one (Red Dead Redemption 2) out of the way, so the time is right for the next GTA.
For those wondering, the general gist is that Rockstar has renewed their GTA trademark, which they'd only do if a new game is in the pipeline, as renewing it is quite expensive and involved.
Edited by Redmess on Jan 7th 2019 at 10:28:33 AM
Not just that, they've continually submitted a faulty, generic one that has been rejected each time as an effort to disguise the identity of the upcoming one. The trademarks office has threatened Rockstar with discontinuation of the trademark if they keep dicking around. Eventually they're going to HAVE to reveal the logo of the upcoming game, and we're going to know exactly what they have in store. I hope they can stall until at least they're ready to announce the game themselves.
I am always a bit bemused by this extreme need for "secrecy". Especially for a fantastically successful long runner like GTA, where a sequel is absolutely guaranteed to happen.
There ARE cops patrolling. It's just, there's a reasonable number of them as long as you aren't wanted, and the big city dilutes them. During online though, cops only exist if you get in trouble.
