So, it's occurring to me that this show seems to be too crazy for me to watch with my brain on, but also too complicated for me to watch with my brain off.
Now, I like turning my brain off and watching crazy action, but I also like analyzing complicated stories. So, on paper, this would be the perfect show for me, but I'm suddenly unsure whether or not it'll work in practice. I mean, should I pay very close attention, or try to ignore details that don't quite add up?

What you might want to do is watch it with your brain off and just enjoy the zanny-ness then deal with all the complicated stuff using Fridge Logic afterwards.

...What the fuck did I just watch?
- Just as I expected, I have no idea what the fuck is going on, and the explanation at the end didn't help all that much.
- Airships, neat looking Magitek abilities, what looks like a Fantasy Kitchen Sink, and lesbians. This I like
- The Gag Boobs girl didn't annoy me as much as I thought she would, I actually started to like her toward the end of the episode.
- Also really fond of the Teacher chick, the Ninja dude, and of course, the lesbian angels.
- The music at the beginning was also pretty cool. Looks like they aren't half-assing the budget when it comes to that.
- I'm pretty sure hair doesn't work that way
- Not sure if I like or hate the Jun Fukuyama voiced dude. What I am sure of though, is that I absolutely hate his design.
- Aaaand this show lost me during the H-game thing. I mean, the whole "Small strands of hair blocks magical arrow" thing was already pusing it (and I'm an advocate of Crazy Awesome stuff like that) but this was just WTF?

I'll give this two more episodes. IF it doesn't do anything for me then...then hopefully the fights and angels will be awesome enough.
