They fog up and get coated with droplets, so you can't really see any better than with them off. Also it just... feels wrong. Like wearing clothing into the shower.
I've been there, though. Get out of the shower, put on your glasses and then turn around to see the spider that was in there with you the whole time...
Be not afraid...I am impressed she was able to see anything while wearing glasses on the shower. I love my glasses but that is one major disadvantage, you can't really wear them on water. Even on rain it can be a pain.
All that, plus if you wash your hair you get glasses coated in shampoo suds as well as water droplets.
= Spindriver =Y'know for all the flak the Jurassic Park gets for being inaccurate nowadays people seem to for get that it's what kickstarted the dinosaur renaissance and many of the people making new dino discoveries today are doing so because the movie inspired them as children.
Not to mention the fact that many of the facts about dinosaurs.in the film and book went against the popular images of them at the time as well.
I guess the competition is two way now
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.I'm holding fingers crossed for a collab.
I am very much enjoying this development.
They're both going to be equally bad but for very different reasons.
Remember, Joyce is autobiographical. So we're effectively seeing the creation of Roomies here.
I mean, so is Walky, but, yeah, since Joyce is the main character here I wouldn't be surprised if she is the one absorbing that part of Willis.

Walky will have a better story, Joyce will have comprehensible art. Neither will be worth publishing alone. They (2 parts of Willis) will work together to make one acceptable work for publication.
The early parts of Roomies will be from Joyce refusing to draw absurdities. The swerve into SF will come from her being worn down by Walky's persistence. "I will do it once, but the readers are going to hate it. Then I can get him to shut up and do something reasonable."
I kinda hope they won't be working together on this. I already ship them too hard, knowing full well that it won't be sailing.
Well if you snip panel 5 off it does look kinda shippy if you squint

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.I'm willing to bet Walky didn't know that.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117It really is impressive how quickly Walky can slip into being a total arse.
I assume that Joyce is now fixed as the author identification character. Anyway, nice to see Sarah being happy.
= Spindriver =Sarah's like somekind of vampire that feeds on misery.
She's a member of House Skavis?
The Last Podcast on the Left once did an episode on "psychic vampires" that were more people like that than actual creatures of the night.
See also Colin Robinson in the TV version of What We Do in the Shadows. But really, the feel I’m getting here is more like Joyce draining the unhappiness from Sarah. And I’m sure that good-hearted Joyce would nobly volunteer to do this if it was a voluntary matter.
= Spindriver =For those wondering, it's a reference to Willis's true masterpiece, LAWsome.
...is... is any of that supposed to be funny?
Plus, with them getting all wet and possibly steamy, there's really no difference from being without them. Might even be a better deal.
