As much as I want to see Gai get a huge beat down, I'll be perfectly fine with a psychological breakdown akin to Micchy.
Burning love! And, once again, not in Europe (tubi isn't available at all here). Sigh.
Yes but actually no. Tubi TV and Shout were going to release it with build up and marketing but somehow it somehow was released earlier than desired.
Is it too late to recommend Black (and Amazon after you get ready for different things) for Showa and Blade, Kabuto, Den-O, Gaim and Build for Heisei?
... And that's called jazz!Okay, so started to watch Kamen Rider Double as my very first Kamen Rider. Watched 10 eps and so far so good. It feels like a live-action anime, both in good and bad ways, but mostly former. Cyclone! Joker! Cyclone Joker! was a bit corny at first, but grew on me fairly quickly. And the effect...is decent, I suppose. Watchable enough.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Gai really grates on my nerves the longer he stays in the screen. Also holy shit he's openly being villainous now lmao
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Yeah, live-action anime is basically what the whole genre is
It's pretty ridiculous he's gotten away with everything he's done.
But from what I can tell, there's no actual physical proof. Even when Aruto confronted him on it, I think he only phrased his response in a roundabout way that stated he did it without outright confirming it.
One Strip! One Strip! He still is in that state of smug superiority, even when it is kind of unwarranted now. Wonder how many times will he be beaten to the ground before the breakdown starts.

Wake me up at your own risk.Probably around when the final round starts. I'm hoping it's a pretty good breakdown.
x5 Nice! W is a pretty high point to start your Rider journey on.
Burning love!Watched the raw of Zero-One 27:
Jin and Thouser seem more or less evenly matched. They both came out of that fight quite literally no worse for wear.
That does spell good things for Aruto though. If Jin is at best equal with Thouser, than Metal Cluster Hopper has his number.
Right now, we can rank the Riders (in terms of power) as: Aruto as Metal Cluster Hopper, Jin/Gai, Fuwa, Horobi, and trailing in last place right now, Yua.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, she is getting demoted from Rider to Monster of the Week, so she just keeps getting kicked down.
Wake me up at your own risk.Depends on her performance as the Jackal Raider. I believe she has more to her than she lets on and it might be either her being Humagear or her farther up the ZAIA ladder and she's playing Gai for a cheap kazoo.
Burning love!Man, what a time to stay in the sidelines, Aruto. And it seems ZAIA just hires people with no morality and tendencies towards fanaticism. Guess that's no surprise.
A rapper against a politician next round? Well, that sounds kind of lopsided. We know which one people actually want to hear.
And no one feels like mentioning how bad an idea it is to make superhuman powers to the general public?

Wake me up at your own risk.Yeah. One of my issues with this is that Gai has managed to get away with so much, and that outside of his control of Metal Cluster Hopper due to the help of Huma-Gears, Aruto's victories over Gai have been due to outside influences. You'd also think he'd at least try to refute Jin's claims about humanity, since the only reason they're fighting each other is due to Gai's manipulations. True, that doesn't mean it hasn't happened before, but in that case Jin's assertion wasn't really fair.
It feels like there's a lot of shit falling in Gai's lap to make it look like he has some kind of point, when literally everything that's happened is his fault. He's even gone as far as to destroy evidence and interfere with investigations...though AIMS is not police, so Fuwa technically has no authority in that case.
One Strip! One Strip!Futo tantei next cast interviewees are ami namai (saeko sonozaki's actress) and rin asuka (wakana sonozaki's actress).

Relly hoping there will be a scene of wakana and saeko visiting Phillip in the gaia library in futo tantei
Oh man, I forgot how the actresses who play Wakana and Saeko looked that I forgot we Asians age slowly.
Burning love!So I personally added Battle Amongst the Flames and Evasive Fight-Thread Episode to the recap page for Zero-One 27.
One Strip! One Strip!Watched up to ep 16 of Kamen Rider Double.
I had a misfortune (or a fit of idiocy maybe) to check out the character sheet. After seeing all the spoilers surrounding Philip, I was like, "Yeah, he's totally affiliated with the Sonozakis if not one himself. And what do you know...
The only minor gripe I have with this series is that for a show whose aesthetics take after a "hard-boiled" detective works, there's very little of actual investigations. Then again, this show describes itself as being "half-boiled" so I guess that makes sense.
Also, the Fang Mode seem to be the most powerful transformation, compared to other Gaia Memories (and coolest looking too, in my opinion). I hope that the duo doesn't start relying on that form alone from this point. That tendency where one really strong weapon/technique gets revealed and the main characters sticking only with those ones is a bit common in manga/anime.
One really good thing I have to say about this series so far is that I don't think I ever felt bored watching this. And that's more than a good enough reason to stick by.
After this Kamen Rider show, I think I might also check Ryuuki and Den-o. Some shows...I'm reserving for further considerations, like Ex-Aid and Gaim, because god DAMN, the henshin scenes are too damn silly that I can't take seriously at all, even with the knowledge that this is aimed at around, what, 12 or above?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Ex-Aid is pretty good, and Gaim... well, it was made by the Urobutcher, so be ready, it'll get real.
Wake me up at your own risk.honestly, there's more investigation in the futo fantei sequel manga. Being a seinen manga it doesn't have the constraint of two episodes per case and the case are often more developed. Also because its a seinen, it doesn't shy away from gore or showing darker form of crimes.
If i can put it, the original series has Philip as the true protagonist with him being more connected to the overall plot than shoutaro. Futo tantei while still focusing on Philip as well, has Shoutaro taking a more central role. His past when he first become acquainted with Shoukichi is also shown as well more info about shoutaro's family. His developing relationship with the new heroine, Tokime, is one of the main backbone of the story. The main villain, Bando Yukiji, is also clearly being setup as Shoutaro's arch enemy. There's a scene in the manga, where Shoutaro is standing on top of a building watching over Futo. Later on, Bando is shown in a scene mirroring that one, watching over reverse-futo.

I think there might be some trope to describe Gai vs Huma Gears and how unfair Gai is winning because the plot wants him to win in The War on Straw index, I think something like Windmill Crusader but I could be wrong. I would really want Gai to get it in the YMMV but I don't know what fits him.
Gaim compensates for silly henshins by getting serious with the plot and ends up one of my favourites in the series. (Note that Urobutcher got reined in so its not as grimdark "literally everybody is an asshole and dies" as his other shows.)
Ex-aid's silliniess blows everything out of the water for me tho.
Futo tantei next interview guest is wakana hime. I have a feeling after that, the guest will be mitsuru matsuoka (katsumi daido), considering what happen in the latest arc.
Somehow, tokime has memories of the fight between double and eternal, which means that she was there in futo during that time. Its obvious she is connected to NEVER. Hell, I'm not gonna be surprised if she becomes the new eternal or eternal dopant.
At this point, I'm actually more excited for futo tantei than zero one
