Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

Nimrod after the mighty hunter, it's thanks to sarcasm from Bugs Bunny that it now has... less impressive connotations.
Zero Tolerance was among the first x comics I read so I have certain fondeness for Bastion.
Honestly, the reason I can't see Raimi doing an Avengers movie is because all of the characters he liked and grew up on aren't really on the team anymore.
Like, he had trouble connecting with Venom, I don't think that'll translate well to handling all the new movie guys.
I would love it if we brought in more robots, robots are always cool.
Gives me an idea they could adapt the current AI robot conflicts going on in Krakoa.
Which not saying they have to adapt Krakoa specifically but more so the conflict between mutant and AI beings over who is the true evolutionary endpoint.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Evolution doesn't have an endpoint. Both groups need to go back to science school.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMarvel can either make Rouge a Texan or a goth. A choice harder than picking between the nuke or not.
Unless...
Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Isn't she from Mississippi?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWhy would Marvel adapt a DC character though? And I thought she was French.
Gambit is the Frenchman, not Rogue.
It's been 3000 years…Wait a minute, I thought it was Steve Rogers! After all, the "A" on his costume stands for France!
Trust no one.Marvel can either make Rouge a Texan or a goth. A choice harder than picking between the nuke or not.
Unless...
We can do it. With the power of modern technology, we have the capabilities to fuse the two together.
Goth Texan
I'm assuming you're all making this joke because you've watched X-Men: Evolution, where she essentially was a Goth Southern Belle / Texan.
That being said, have you? If so, I apologize for killing the joke.
...actually, no I don't. I'm glad I did it. It brings me joy.
If I can't have fun, nobody has fun.
One Strip! One Strip! That's a funomenal outlook on life!
Trust no one.I have watched X-Men: Evolution, but I wasn't thinking of it when I made that comment.
Goddammit, now I can't get "Rouge the Goth Texan" out of my head. I'd be down.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. This is why I say watch X-Men: Evolution!
We've already had the Goth Texan! Where were you guys?!
I revoke everyone's Nerd Credentials! Everyone! That's right! Even you in the corner!
One Strip! One Strip!...But she wasn't Texan. She's from Mississippi.

Disgusted, but not surprisedMeh. Close enough.
....I'll be generous and re-instate everyone's Nerd Credentials.
No harm done. I'm not trying to cover my ass or anything. Nope.
One Strip! One Strip! And no, you can't say she's a Goth Mississippian. "Mississippian" refers to certain Native cultures that originated in the Mississippi River valley.
Disgusted, but not surprisedMississippite?
I've seen "Mississipper" used.
Goth Mississipper doesn't quite have the right ring to it.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI'm thinking just, like, classic Rouge's over-the-top good-ol-girl Texan personality, and Evolutions' edgy goth personality, just mashed together.
Perky Goth, I guess.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Awww, the Surfer’s in it? That means it’s a Galactus movie. Thats disappointing.

In terms X-villains I'd also like to see, would kill to see Nimrod brought on-stage
Uber genocidal mutant killer robot with a funny name and distinct look
