Advice would be to turn it into a fanspeak term with lampshades/mentions only. Or make a Meganekko Fetishist or something for characters that explicitly prefer them.
Fight smart, not fair.I put meganekko in TRS.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.I have also axed the examples on megane (which seemed to be a popular choice), and am thinking of deleting the wicks to it in work trope lists on the grounds of not being a trope (except where they explicitly refer to the term, for example, in character nicknames). Opinions?

Anyway you don't really need to crosswick, the trope still kept it's 616 wicks. However, I will move Nerd Glasses wicks that are actually Opaque Nerd Glasses to that trope. Are there any other tropes that need fixing?

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
Is this thread still live? Have we ever figured out what to do with meganekko? It's become "girls with glasses in anime" and is rapidly become "girls with glasses in anything", or even "characters with glasses in anything"; I just saw the Doctor from Dr Who on there.
