aaaand looks like X-Men Arcade and Simpsons Arcade were also removed without any warning from Konami.
Digital distribution is truly wonderful,huh?

God I'm lonely.
Beware of occasional bad attitude. I do Fanfics on deviantART. Witness me make a mockery out of myself there, too.No. Making money by Executive Meddling and other sorts of unsavoury corporate tactics is bad.
And are you denying Capcom is in a worse state nowadays?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMSo I got Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcm 3 for Vita yesterday, and here's something I noticed: If you activate X-Factor with Taskmaster, he has electricity running around him. People have probably already noticed it but its an interesting touch, even if I don't know why its there.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Taskmaster's X-Factor should be justified as him going in fast forward.
Apparently he can watch footage in fast-forward and then replicate it in fast-forward. Rather clever.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I figure if there's any thread where people will know, it's this one.
I downloaded this game when it was, like, 3 bucks on Xbox Live a while back. Loads of fun, but my controller is wonky and the left stick always pushes up slightly. Has anybody used those fightpad things? Y'know, the one with LB and RB on the face of the controller? Do you know if those are any good?
Flyer than an ostrich, moshin' in a tar pit...I did. It works well. I'll elaborate more if asked later; on my phone right now.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity. There's a sale on Xbox Live at the moment, and Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is on there. But I thought that game was taken down already. I apparently my cousin tried to access it on that sale and it didn't work or something.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI'm curious as to how the fightpad played, primarily in comparison to the regular 360/PS 3 controller. I'm going to be shocked if it was worse than the base 360 controller, obviously, but how is it? Is the stick-thing responsive and clicky? Are the buttons easy to press and not awful? Is it comfortable to hold? Would you drop ~25 bucks on it?
It would also be dandy if it can be used freely between the 360 and PS 3 so I only have to buy one of them, but the planets would have to align for me to get that lucky.
Flyer than an ostrich, moshin' in a tar pit...The short answer is a question: which fightpad? There are several made by different companies, with differing qualities. Some times they go on sale during major events.
That said, I liked my Hori fightpad for XBOX. Responsive buttons. Comfortable to hold. Little hard to plink, bu then again, you kinda need a stick for that. Can also be used to play other kinds of games, though others can really only play fighting games. Pretty poor longevity, though. That may just be my ass handling, though.
While I can't think of any that work with both consoles right outta the box, you could dual-mod it if you're feelin' handy.

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity. The one I'll probably end up getting is one of those either Street Fighter x Tekken or Street Fighter IV ones. I want to say they're made by Madcatz, but that's mostly because Madcatz seems to make everything.
I would absolutely pick up one of those 40-dollar Hori mini fightsticks, but noooo, Gamestop is all out of them...
Flyer than an ostrich, moshin' in a tar pit...So I decided to see other characters X-Factors and noticed that Zero also gets the lightning effect in X-Factor (note, I don't have Jill or Shuma-Gorath so I cannot see if either of them have it).
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Last time I checked, the one thing Gambit is remembered for aside of being fangirl bait, having a stylin' longcoat, and his Credit Card! Kinetic Cards, was being needlessly angsty after Rogue broke up with him. And then he became one of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen... Yeah, the writers were pretty at writing Gambit for a while.
Seriously though, '90s Anti-Hero is still Wolvie's shtick (and I can hardly say it was ever Gambit's domain, though he was blatantly founded on the principle of Rule of Cool). I mean, hell, even Cable, whose solution to problems was BLOW IT ALL UP!, has moved away from that label in recent times.
But since we brought up the Ragin' Cajun, I'm legally obligated to post this.
And since I am also legally obligated to conform to the outcries of my more vocal brethren, allow me to incessantly harp on about the lack of Mega Man in all Capcom products for 10 minutes straight, starting now.
Segment cut due to size constraints.
I'm not really too concerned about the DLC being taken down (I probably should have picked up Jill and Shuma, though; I had some leftover funds in my account that would've covered them), but Marvel's train of thinking about the license really doesn't make even a smidge of sense, and because Capcom is starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel in terms of finances due to, well, you know, I doubt they can do much to renegotiate a deal with Marvel at this point.

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadAre you able to share DLC without the game? By the time I had stable internet, it was aleady deactivated.
If yes, I'd totally be willing to share $10 for anyone that shares Jill and Shuma.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I'd be willing to help you, but I have the EU PS Store, and I assume from the dollar sign you're in America. Does that make a difference? I'm in the same boat with the DLC characters for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. I had no internet for several weeks over Christmas and didn't find out until after it came back that they had been removed.

Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierDLC is specific to each region, so that's gonna be a major issue.
Yeah, I use the US Store, so damn it.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I know man. I should have nabbed Shuma and Jill when I had the chance.
It's a shame about the region locking. I'm sorry that I can't help you.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierDont worry about it. That you offered to begin with is awesome enough.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Although I don't think anyone is surprised...
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity. This is funnier than it should be.
Respect the pipe!

What perplexes me most about this whole thing is that, well, why can't Marvel just set up a limited agreement with Capcom to sell existing titles digitally, so people can continue to enjoy them and Marvel still gets some profits from the sales?
I imagine Disney/Marvel want to make content that doesn't involve them splitting profits with someone else (since it's worked very well for the Marvel-made films), but taking the games off digital services just ensures that they can't get ANY revenue from them, and keeping them on digital storefronts costs very little, if any, compared to retail, where there's numerous costs involved.
