To be fair, Resi was sort neglected in crossovers before MvC3. Jill was in MvC2, and I think that was it?
And if they couldn't get the permission to have a Monster Hunter rep in MvC3, what makes you think a rep from the series being in a kart racer is more likely?

Mv C 2,Mv C Origins and the DL Cs of U Mv C 3 are all on sale.Apparently they are doing this because they will be taken off in a few days(probably the license is expiring.). And this is a REAL bad side of the digital-only approach...(if you don't buy Jill and Shuma-Gorath now,you are fucked.And they could have avoided this issue by including them in the Ultimate release,but nah,gotta need that extra dirty money,right?)

I like Max, but he was kind of asking for that when he rustled Nick's jimmies.
(Granted, Max wasn't using his best team and was commentating for his stream...)
As for the Capcom Cup... eh, I haven't been in the loop with UMvC3 tourneys for a while (aside of Flocker's win at EVO), so I wouldn't know who to pick.
