Anyway, that was a good battle. Looked really nice and the way the battle played out was really cool too.

And now I understand why Mitsuru finally broke through Weiss' Aura as well.

And I'm still waiting for clarification on how could this battle's outcome invalidate that of Yang vs. Tifa.

Blah blah blah now that Weiss lost it means Death Battle is no longer biased towards RWBY and that means they should redo Yang vs. Tifa so that Tifa wins or whatever

Tifa has actually been researched as having a much higher damage output then what Yang can physically endure with her semblance in the past.

She could easily beat Mitsuru, too, so If she could do that, then she could easily beat most of RWBY.

Its simple, really.

Yang would've kicked Loz's ass.

Loz is literally a piece of Sephiroth. No, Yang wouldn't be able to.

Tifa would have won if she and the rest of the FFVII gang didn't let themselves go after saving the world. This is even stated by Word of God that the reason Tifa lost was because her skills dulled because of that.

Well, the next Community Death Battle is Krillin vs Saitma. That’ll be fun to see the comments. They do say that it is generally considered a stomp, but people can’t agree with who stomps who.

The better question is who is the better baldie.

Finally it's time to find out whose head I should better use as a reflective surface when I want to comb my hair.

I don't know. Saitama managed to woo Fubuki.

And Genos.

In the realm of fandom, Saitama without intending too managed to woo sisters.

Fubuki vs 18 is the patrician's waifu war.

So something has been bothering me about power scaling in this show. Is there a flaw in my logic?

• Yang beats Tifa quite handily.
• Tifa scales to Sephiroth: sure, she probably needs help from her teammates to defeat him, but she would pull her weight in that fight, inflicting a good amount of damage while being able to endure Sephiroth's attacks. I also bet that there is a build that would potentially let her solo Sephiroth, though that probably wouldn't be counted as an actual feat.
• Sephiroth beats Vergil.
• Conclusion: the hosts of Death Battle are saying that the RWBY 'verse is on par with, if not stronger than, the DMC 'verse, which I was under the impression was one of the stronger gaming 'verses. Also, Mitsuru beat Weiss, so the Persona 'verse is even stronger than that.

Yet, if you went on any "Cavemen vs. Astronauts" Debate forum and proposed a DMC vs. RWBY or Persona fight, you would most likely be laughed out on the grounds that the fight would be a Curb-Stomp Battle in the DMC character's favor, so there must be a flaw somewhere in my logic which I'm not seeing.

EDIT: I didn't see some of the above posts. Apparently the show massively lowballed Tifa's power, putting the result of Yang vs. Tifa in question.

One of the researchers actually put out an analysis about the matchup, so...

Yeah, it's one of the go-to episodes for "fights that were prolly wrong" for a reason and bringing X>Y>Z into the mix only reinforces that. Hell, we were just talking about Link VS Cloud a few pages ago and I think implying Link could defeat Dante or Vergil would get mocked just as much.

Bright side, I don't think they've done a contentious outcome for an episode in a while (...other than Ben 10 VS Green Lantern, but everyone here seems to agree with the actual result at least) so going forward I'm assuming the scaling between different universes will be more consistent.

Speaking of scaling, having someone highball an estimate on Saitama's power as much as possible and Krillin being stronger than that's really funny to me. That was a good read

If we to go by that logic, then Rogue should be able to defeat Thor. Which... she actually was able to do in her first appearance◊. Huh...

If you use scaling more than even a little it stops becoming character vs character and starts becoming franchise vs franchise.

He does a lot of holding back.

Whether to enjoy fights more (we'll call that the Goku), so his Avenger buddies don't feel superfluous and get their feelings hurt (we'll call that the Stupid), or so his full power doesn't break Earth (which we'll call the Only Practical Reason)

Isn't there something about how he doesn't want humans to start worshipping him again, so he pretends to be far lesser than he really is?

I forgot about the X-Men character for a second, and wondered how Thor would get beaten by a bat.

I wanted Krillin in Death Battle for a while, and I’m a little disappointed it’s against Saitama.

Still, should be nice. People always forget Krillin’s strong enough to blow up planets if he wants to.

I mean, Krillin vs. Saitama is probably one of the better outcomes for both characters.

Krillin gets his badass moment and people remember that he has legit power, and Saitama gets his ass handed to him to shut up the "Muh one punch" wanks.

Plants are also strong enough to beat up Krillin
